Hello! Im starting YouTube and my files are around 20GB big. I want to send them to my friend to edit for me because I dont have alot of time to. I tried using mega but it takes like 5 hours to upload and download the files. Do you all have any ways to try to send my 20GB files to my friend? He lives like 300 miles away btw. Im open to suggestions if the download/upload speed is within 30mins - 1hour.
FTP would be the logical choice, but as Spark said you can't go faster than what your upstream speed from the ISP is. If you have a really slow upstream speed, there is nothing that can be done.
Just start your upload and go do something else. Five hours is nothing. When I first signed up for a media service, I downloaded their entire server (~14 TB). That took over a week of constant downloading, lol.

14 TB is literally 1 year (350ish days) of downloading at full speed for me, not accounting for regular dropouts, other people using bandwidth, and drops in speed due to weather (speed halves when it rains, if it doesn't drop out).

Ouch, and to think I whine about only getting 180 meg on my account.

If you plan to send it to him via the net then the only thing you can do is upload it. Your upload speed can't go faster than what your ISP allows.

Your ISP must hate your guts.

Deluge is a good option. You don't have to worry about corruption and speeds are fast.

For what I pay, they can deal with it lol. I have a Comcast workplace account for my home.

Peer-to-peer would be a good option.
