I already knew that. Does that ruin happiness for me? No. I know love is just a series of chemicals, but I still love my Boyfriend just the same.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic

Welcome to reality. Our entire existence is perceived through chemical reactions and electric signals in our bodies. Thinking about it a lot will put you on a roller-coaster of thoughts and emotions, but it feels fantastic to me .

I guess you can see it as an accomplishment that we started out as these microscopic creatures and we have survived and have been able to travel so far but I still see us as tiny and insignificant, by that I mean that we are a species out of thousands on a small planet in a system of 7 other planets in a galaxy of uncountable systems and that galaxy is in a universe of an uncountable number of galaxies and then there's the possibility that there are multiple universes, so I think we are very veryvery small but I take that as a challenge to explore and since the number of stars and galaxies is increasing at this very moment we might never be able to stop exploring and that means that we as a species will always have the opportunity to discover new things and that makes me pretty happy.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
Human's won't live forever. the Y cell in men are decreasing every birth, and in an estimated 2 thousand years it will be gone.
Humanity isn't infinite.
u wot m8? U WOT?
The "Y" cell? The Y chromosone has no relation whatsoever on humanity's end. Humans can't just die out something has to be the cause of it e.g Climate change, Plauge, A huge rock from space, Lack of sustainable living space etc.
The Y chromosome's presence or lack of it simply decides if the baby is either male or female. It isn't "decreasing".

However, comparisons of the human and chimpanzee Y chromosomes (first published in 2005) show that the human Y chromosome has not lost any genes since the divergence of humans and chimpanzees between 6–7 million years ago
I think it changed my perspective of life a little. Now I'm just sad thinking about it.

That sadness is a chemical too
Also some religious peoples may disagree with you on that
I really like what Carl Sagan says about the picture, it really puts everything I know into perspective

Maybe if you set your mind to it, you can become invulnerable to corrosive substances.
I mean they're just chemicals, right?

Ahem. You barbarians are dying.
Poor men.
So if happiness is a chemical...
Wouldn't sadness make it a chemical as well?
