I have been looking for a desk for while now. I would like to find a desk that is big enough for two 24" monitors. It has to look somewhat modern. My budget is around $100. I would really like an L shape, but it might not be possible with my budget.
Many desks that I know of you can find online tend to run around $400-800 range, which might be a bit outside of that limit. I got a decent desk for about $25 from a small, local furniture store. Try looking around your area for them or go to a garage sale, you might not find an L-shape, but still, there are some great desks out there.
Build your own.
Seriously. Figure out the dimensions and shape, draw it and mark all the dimensions, then go have somebody cut the boards for you and make the edges all pretty. Surely there are some companies that do that in your area. You can get back here with your first design and have us look it over and perhaps suggest some modifications.
It will end up being a few times cheaper than anything you can buy premade.
This is actually quite a good idea. With $100, I doubt you can get a decent 'L' shaped desk. You can also look at your local Goodwill or something like that. That's where I got my glass desk and leather seat both for around $70.
Are you talking about an L-shaped desk? If so on the side
Alrighty - if you were going to put your monitors in the corner, I would have suggested something with an angle, like this.
I'd pick something that hides the cords/wiring well (so something with a 'backing'), but that's just me.

Honestly it doesn't really matter what angle I have the monitors at
