"good night, good luck" -dying light
i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
Hmmm... Juicy question. Mine would have to be a dark room with blacklights and glowy things everywhere, to give it a space age sort of theme. There are rows and rows of tables, all with custom-build top percentage gaming PCs resting atop of them. There are hundreds of gamers packed into this huge room, all laughing and yelling about the "insanely leet" kill they just pulled off. The room breaks off into another area, containing more computers. This section, however, is for tournaments. Determined gamers with nerves of steel make their way up the bracket here, taking breaks to grab a snack in between rounds. Did I mention that there is a huge snack bar? In another section of the room, there are many consoles. In the corner of the room, several people are battling Pokemon on handhelds...
God, I would die if I ever found a place like this. I want to open a business like this one day. " Tipp's LAN Party Rental Co."

~Friendly faces everywhere, humble folks without temptation!~
Machines whirring in the background, all consoles of every type hooked up to a tv and couch, mini fridge with the best foods ever, and a large table with multiple identical ubercomputers running softly in the background.
I'd have to say my ideal place for gaming would be somewhere I can be alone, with a fairly decent PC, some kind of console, all the big-time games I've ever wanted and a small fridge to keep my drinks in. Other than that, I really don't mind about the rest.
The ability to make any game any quality at will(Make new games old school, or give old games an HD remake)
Lose all negative physical barriers that would stop you from gaming (Any physical disabilities, motion sickness, hunger, sleep, etc)
All accessories and controllers are compatible with each other and all games.
Hackers, campers, greifers etc. instantly get sent to hell...AND BUUUUURN.
All bugs and frame drops removed, hell, let's pretend the hardware is just the best in existence, and humanity will never catch up to it, and if they do, they'll automatically upgrade themselves.
My perfect game rooms would be fairly open. I can't stand gaming in the dark and NEEEEEEEEED sunlight.
The wall on one side of the room would just be made of glass and overlook a lake. The other walls would be blue and the carpet would be white
The gaming room would have a little mini bar with snack food and stuff. There would be a few rows of desks (white, my favorite color). The computers would all be custom built (top tier, i7 4960x's, quad 780 Ti's, 16 GB of RAM, 4TB SSD's) and housed in a fractal design define R4 (white obviously). The keyboard, Mouse, mousepad and monitors would all be black (to contrast the white nicely) and the monitors would be 120 Hz 4k (they would be hooked up using double HDMI 1.4 cables). Then I'd just invite friends over
(as I'm imagining it the room would be big enough to fit about 16 of these 'battle stations')
Gaming in the dark and enjoying 20 boxes of pizza while playing every game console there is in the world (even the rip-off ones). And the best part is that the room will never get hot! :)!!!

Hmmm. Tempting. Just got done watching like 5 Star Trek next gen shows today.
Well, let's just say that it would be in a sleek and dark room, fairly large, with surround, and dimmable lights.
The furniture would be dark leather, with plenty of cup holders. There would be a mini refrigerator full of who knows what.
Now, the carpet would be a crème color, to accent the leather. There would be a large 4k TV, with my VCR hooked up to it, and then if I had friends over, I would watch some movies. Now, If we wanted something other than something out of the fridge, we could just use one of the 4 replicator stations around the room.
For gaming devices, I would have 5-6 Uber-PCs including quad 780Ti's, a 4960x, and Terrabytes of SSD storage.
Considering the people I know, There would be console stations as well. All displays are 4k, and every game invented is in the library.
For the most grand machine, It would be like a simulation room / holo deck. You could fully play any game in first person, and fully control your character for any game in a full moveable area. It would adapt in size and shape depending on the map. Much like the Holo deck in Star trek, or War games from Halo 4. This could be interesting, As Playing Skyrim, and forging your on sword, and swinging the blade you made.
The room would also have full ventilation, to prevent heat buildup and stuffiness. There would be some way to the surface, which would be a sprawling meadow surrounded by forest on all but 1 side, and that side would be a grand beach with enormous dunes.
That largely sums up my current idea, and I may make changes.
Now do you see what monster you created by suggesting me to unleash my imagination?
My ideal gaming room has been constructed in a carefully chosen place that exists outside the space-time continuum. When you step into this room, time ceases to pass for everyone else. Also, due to some hard to understand physics stuff, you don't need to eat, sleep, or use the bathroom when in this room. The room is furnished modestly, with a comfortable couch and a table and chairs. It is also equipped with several computers from the near future that never require maintenance and are capable of playing all current games regardless of the platform in which they were developed.
Because online games wouldn't be possible in such a room (for everyone else, time has stopped), the other computers are used to power sentient AIs that can perfectly simulate thousands of human players. All of these AIs are programmed to play within the spirit of the game, and so they will not exploit, cheat, or troll when they play against you (unless you want them to, it's an option for when you're feeling nostalgic for the Internet).
A giant workstation, with a large central computer. This computer is dedicated to my main tasks. I am surrounded by dozens of other computers displaying things like key value, metal value, bud value graphs in real time, steam marketplace from multiple accounts, multiple trade servers open, laptops open with trading websites, basically a huge computer surrounded by dozens of computers, all dedicated to Steam trading. The main computer would be used for gaming and anime, because steam market isn't exactly instant and you can sit for hours waiting for a good trade offer to come up.
In a room below this is a server farm, partitioned into sectors, each sector being used for various things. These servers would be on a separate connection, so not to slow mine down.
A dark room with nothing but water, ice, food, a bed, and a gaming PC with the best EVERYTHING and 5656565 GTX Titans with an infinite amount of RAM and hard drive space. Also all the consoles and 2 TVs
I would have 3 working MS-DOS computers for playing the older games, a Windows 98se computer, a Windows XP computer for newish stuff, one of those huge gaming rigs with 16GB of RAM and a Pentium i7 in them, a Commodore 64, a working Coleco Adam and my IBM personal computer with Windows 95. I might also have a PS2 setup in the back next to my Atari 2600.
I'll avoid paintin' what I'd love and just round some of the items off-
Flat-screen TV
Every Console available
A built-in Gamestop
Built in High Score Games (sells older games)
A PC, with Steam (games bein' free is nice, or just tons of money to buys the games)
A special little closet with perfect lighting for older handhelds
A Bouncer at the door, keep out distractions.
All I can think up right now.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic

At least 86% of what I say is always correct.
