"Little Big Planet 2". It was so original, so new, so much features! They did not make the levels, the community did! You could completely costumize your "Sackboy", and the pod you were in. You could make your own levels with all the tools needed too. There was nothing missing.
Sadly, right now, Media Molecyle is working on something for PS3 Mini or something. Maybe after that, they can show us more awesome games that actualy is both fun, and creative.
I do, and as much as I love telling people how they are wrong, and that the game they think is original actually "GASP" isn't original in a thread which asks "most original game you have ever played", I would rather not stir up, unlike someone here.
Your previous post will probably have the same effect of stirring stuff up.
I'm fairly certain ''original'' gives no s about opinions
if there's something exactly like it that came out earlier, it's not original.
Is there a heavily customizable platformer that is connected to all other users with their levels and such somewhere else? It isn't just a platformer with a level editor. It's a platformer with a level editor that has massive uses. That's like calling Kerbal Space Program unoriginal because there were other physics based rocket simulators before even though none of them had physics anywhere near that realistic or a world that massive or that much realism.
Spelunky, Dwarf Fortress, and Red Rogue (links to Newgrounds because the games official website is down for some reason) have to be some the most original games I have picked up in the past year or so. The best thing about them is that they are all free!
Don't think about picking Dwarf Fortress unless you have 5 or so hours free to learn how to play.
It was just so beautiful at the time.

Uh... do you know what an opinion is?

What's funny is that Pong is essentially a ripoff of Tennis For Two.
Only thing I feel hyped for these days.
