The new trailer for EVE Online and Dust 514. If you don't get a nerd boner after watching, you should get checked out by a doctor. I was just wondering what the Minecraft community thought of it and the games it represents.
Edit: Oh, and if you want to try either of them out, click the links below. You get special stuff from registering via the buddy system, and so do I.
Trailer's cool n' stuff; gotta' love lasers n' spaceships. Pew pew!
Anyway, I really wish I liked EVE since the stories that come out of it are quite entertaining (I remember recently reading about a battle where one side committed many Titans to a losing battle in a desperate attempt to save one and wound up losing most of them in a giant 3000+ player clash) and player economies are fun. My problem with EVE when I played the trial was that it takes forever to get from point A to B and there's a lot of "down time".
I definitely will try it out. I'm looking forward to it with hopes that my dreams will come true.
While it certainly is a great improvement, it is not the pinnacle of what Dust will become. If you feel like being disappointed now will kill your hopes for the future, I might recommend waiting for the November expansion (rough estimate) or later.

It's hard criticizing ideas when one is tired, so you'd better appreciate it when I criticize yours.

Not to mention that its gameplay is honestly five or six years old, but I understand that's a tradeoff for the other stuff it has.
I'll just wait and see for the future, I guess.
You should try it when it "launches" on the 14th. Uprising looks like a massive improvement.
