Ok guys, so many of you may not know this, but there is currently a semi new app on the market called
Eden: World Builder. It is practically a Minecraft: Pocket Edition look alike, with a few exceptions.
1: Eden does not have survival mode
2: Eden's worlds are like the current version of minecraft for PC where the worlds are almost infinite.
3: Eden does not have day/night cycles
The way the game works is similar to Minecraft. It is a world made of blocks and flats. The textures are almost exactly the same, the GUI is almost the same, and everything about the game is similar. Another thing is, they sell their app for $3.99, however they are currently running a sale for $0.99
I have bought the game to test it out, and the first thing that came to my mind was, "Why has Mojang not sued these guys yet?" This game is every bit the same as minecraft pocket edition for a cheaper price! I don't know about you guys, I think they should be shut down for this. I can see roblox being ok because they are nothing like minecraft with the exception that they use blocks, but eden is pushing it honestly. Anyway, since you guys already know what Minecraft Pocket Edition already looks like, I won't post any pictures of it, but here are some pictures of Eden. I want your thoughts on this guys, I think Mojang should be aware that someone is basically using their material to make their own game and profit from it.
Semi new meaning less than a year old. Sorry about the misunderstanding. While it is true that it came out before Pocket Edition, Minecraft still came out first. Which is why I am questioning this app (Eden).
I used to play eden and i love the infinite rendering and that you can download maps with ease but i think of it like angry birds i burned out really quick. to me it is more of a boring game.

Minecraft PE has been out for almost a year already, I remember getting eden when I was 12, and it was pretty old then too.
I do think that the MCPE dev team should ask and get help from both Eden and Minebuilder on how they could incorporate infinite rendering on MCPE. I'm sure it's possible but it might require an entire recoding of the game to make it work with infinite rendering.... *Don't know anything about code, just guessing.*

Famous Nyan seed has caves now along with 3 other special maps for MCPE! Check here for downloads: http://tinyurl.com/c75ax6y
just like apple! some company does something, you do something that is the same (but later) and then sue them! why not?
Actually, did you know Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft worked for apple? Yeah, he helped develop it, but then he quit because he didn't like how the restricted everything. So then he founded Microsoft so people could have a more user friendly, not so restricted operating system. Anyway, please keep this on topic.

I think is backwards, anyways if i regard right Mojang allows any similar game to Minecraft to be developed
I don't think they should get sued, when it first came out years ago, I bought it, and it's NOT even close to MCPE. The game is so different from MCPE and the only game that was taken from the appstore was Crafted because it had same textures, same mobs, same sounds, same crafting on the PC but was 2D. But as Eden, the only similar thing about them is that they're just made of blocks. And any game can have mobs that are passive sometimes and are aggressive, some have clouds as well, to make the game less boring as it is, but after this, MCPE still wins.

(+.[___].:) Supporter of Minecraft for the PS Vita (+.[___].:)
I agree!! And also its super old...
this was made on probably a shoestring budget and they most likely had to cut A LOT of corners.

Eden has been out since January. Pocket Edition has only been out since either June or July.
I agree.
Hmm, I think Mojang should utilize the infinite world rendering system, and the world sharing system, then sue these guys for minecraft impersonation.
What? Eden was released December 2nd 2010
Oh, sorry, your right. It was updated in jan. My bad >.<
*You're
go ask in an EDEN forum and look at the responses.
