http://wireless.ign.com/articles/121/1211257p1.html While Minecraft addicts the world over wait patiently for Mojang to release an official iOS port of their smash-hit building game, plenty of other developers have leapt at the opportunity to fill the iPhone void themselves. Perhaps most notably Kingly Software's Eden.
While all of these clones draw heavy inspiration from Minecraft, they also introduce fresh ideas and artwork of their own. Crafted, released on the App Store just today, seems to be a more brazen Minecraft look-alike.
The game takes the 2D presentation and gameplay found in Terraria, and combines it with Minecraft's exact tile set, items, and enemies. It's fascinating and a bit eerie to see everything from Minecraft's torches, furnaces, pigs, and even creepers, re-thought to work from a 2D perspective.
Crafted is unlikely to survive long in its current form if Mojang catches wind of it. Most of the pixel art seems to have been lifted wholesale – the game is pretty shameless. But with enough changes, the title could evolve into a viable take on the growing sandbox block building genre.
Curious gamers can check Crafted on the App Store now.

I've seen rip offs of my fav games but this? This is the almost EXACT SAME! The only difference is slightly altered sprites and its 2D. I'm going to murder the people who made this!
You mean dedicated fans got tired of waiting for a full, 3-D minecraft to arrive on iOS so they make a 2D lookalike to fill the void?
THIEVING BASTARDS.
'sigh'
Odds are this was made by a minecraft fan who only wanted minecraft on the iOS. So tone it down, guys. It would be nice if they made it free to get rid of the impending lawsuit.

Y U NO MAKE UR OWN GAMES?!.
Cuase I'm,AWESOME!!!!
If you're trying to accomplish this, they should at least leave out the creeper. That's a signature of minecraft.
If they use different names for everything, can Mojang still sue them?
Edit: Oh forget the names, the graphics are the same nearly lol.
MINECRAFT needs World-edit like tools in the creative mode.
"it is fun, therefore needs to be free"
I am not following your logic :\
*there may or may not be cake
Wow...Just wow.
