Since 2011, I've been crafting a 2D browser version of Minecraft called Mine Blocks!
This game is still being updated and in every update, there are many new features and improvements!
Here's some of the biggest features: - Generated worlds! - Nether, ender, and ender dragon boss! - Enchanting and potions! - Redstone! (pistons, dispensers, note blocks, redstone dust, ect.) - Commands! - Creative and survival! - Hundreds of crafting recipes! Hundreds of items! - Plenty of mobs! - Skins! (Thousands of them made by other players) - Day and night, and weather! - And much, much more!
What monsters and other mobs are on here?Looks pretty fun.
Thanks! So far, the monsters in the game are creepers, zombies, spiders, and nethereyes (haha, you'll see those).
The passive mobs are pigs, sheep, cows, and chicken.
Press ESC, and go to options to change the difficulty if you want to see the monsters at night!
Can't wait until you add bows + arrows. :biggrin.gif: or make it multiplayer. Also, you should upload it on kongregate.
I already have bows and arrows, haha!
Multiplayer - I want to so bad, but I still don't know how to. I have to get past the glitches and lag first.
I haven't checked out Kongregate yet, but I have it on Newgrounds right now.
Its ugly but I love it xD Can you include a textures file!?
Well, no texture file because in Flash there's no such thing as a texture pack. It's hard-coded into the game, unfortunately.
I guess since my art is so bad, I'll have someone else do it! It's against my nature though - being an Indie developer an all, but I'll do it anyway.
You know what. You should add your own spin to it, palce a chest in the middle of the map somewhere that has to be found, and maybe a scroll in the chest that is a treasure map, and when you get to the location there is a boss to fight, you know?
