I will contact you when it's in a playable state that can be tested. More detail is in the application section about that. I might let testers test early though but I don't know yet. We will see how things go.

Testers will get to start testing as soon as I have done the first level with 10 waves (I think) and they will also get to play it each update until it's done. (The beta I'm releasing for everyone is capped at wave 30. If you are a really great tester and I trust you, I will let you test other levels as well.

Well i'd assume i did something wrong, and retry the barricade. If i'm still having problems i'd give you a bug report

I would pause the game, usually fixes the issue of cursor mess ups, B. try to duplicate the incident so I can explain its cause and it would be easier to fix, C. finally i would report everything to you.

I would look at my changes to strategy, B. try wave 26 if it is still far to easy with using old strategy i would check to see what is making it easy, C. after I think i have my answers I would go back through test it again see if it is constant, D. Report it all back to you.

Note that this is gonna be rather hard to do for a few reasons. 1) We don't live near each other. I'm sure we can work with private messages, screenshots and stuff though. 2) I don't actually know python. I am using a tiny bit of python but the bulk of everything is done in my own sort of language. I didn't wanna go fully into python when I was gonna learn C++ right after this game so I used my own language. It doesn't take as long to learn but it is a little bit limited and it takes longer to program everything. Although I will be saving time since I would have only been using python for this game. This means that if your stuck with something I can't really help you.
We can still do it though. I'll tell you what I need done when I need it (probably when I start programming mobs so very soon as the first level is done). How confidant are you at the moment? It would help to know so I don't give you something to hard.
I will post an update sooner or later. I just need to finish 1 last texture before the first level is 100% done scenery wise.
I added a new video! It video shows the first map in the game for survival mode.
Notes:
1) The old lighting was used.
2) Barricade health and zombie knock-back/health/damage isn't done yet (I'm using placeholders) so don't pay attention to that.
3) The mouse isn't usually there (CamStudio >_>). Speaking of CamStudio, that's why it's so blurry and stuff!
4) Some scenery (such as tables) aren't in yet and pretty much all weapons on the map aren't there. Also the shop isn't there. A lot of things are missing.
5) The spawning system isn't done. I spent 5 minutes doing a temporary system for this video. This lead to them spawning oddly and animating very closely to each other at times.
The next video will show level grapples (smashing zombies faces onto the stove/bbq) and it will also show the new 10x smarter zombie AI. They even flop through windows! (very rarely though)
Remember, using a sig, commenting, liking, and subscribing help the game out quite a bit. More than you would think!

I have decided to name this game Timewave Zero for 2 reasons.
1) It is a fitting name for the story and once you know the story you'll see why.
2) It is the name of my favorite song :tongue.gif: The song even kinda makes sense for the story :ohmy.gif:
Note that it's kinda like call of duty, there is CoD: WaW, MW, BO and so on. This will kinda work like that. E.G. Timewave Zero: *insert other name here*. As for what the other name will be for this game... I'm not sure yet :tongue.gif:
I just finished playing silent hill and I find myself questioning how I'm going to present my storyline. It is a very story heavy game. I was originally going to have it presented in a extremely realistic way. This lead to it ending up being presented less serious for a few reasons
1) Some characters mess around a lot.
2) It is realistic in the sense that all things over covered in the story. You will be able to read books and books will cover almost all topics some serious some not.
Basically the overall atmosphere is a bit like silent hills (scary, depressing and so on) but the characters and other things basically take away from this atmosphere. My options are to keep it as is witch I think will be a pretty unique way of presenting the story, or removing everything that takes away from the silent hill-like atmosphere. What do you guys think?
Oh, and the next update had been changed to the first boss mob as I felt like making one and testing how well I can do them using blender.

I bet none on the forums have made a game like this... This has pretty good graphics for being a game on MC forums, every other game here have even suckier graphics than Terarria.
I'll take that as I complement so thanks but remember that there's no need to be rude or mean to other games. Everyone has gotta start somewhere. Maybe they like their graphics like that? Who knows?
Also, I was thinking that I'd do the storyline as I originally planned it. I wanna see how well it does and anyway, trying to do it the other way wouldn't work. People wont be able to take it to seriously with the graphics I can currently do.

These posts don't really have anything to do with anything. Not sure if an argument is starting or not but lets make sure it doesn't by keeping all comments relevant to the game!
You could comment about my method of telling the story, the first map, boss/mob ideas, anything! Did I mention that I added crouch and dash to give boss fights more tactical elements? Maybe I should type out the boss mob's strategy that I'm currently working on for you guys to eyeball? Or should I wait till it's done? hmm...
