Well.. Morrowind graphics always did make me feel a bit queasy (literally) but I loved using the game's mechanics against itself to max out my stats.
...Although, it could be that I felt queasy since I always played until 3 in the morning, then woke up at 9. x.x
I haven't been able to play because I am setting up a new router that will allow me to have internet for my Wii AND PC at the same time. When I get it set up, I will let you guys know.
Yay~ We'll be able to form a hunting party finally!
Personally, I haven't played in weeks out of sheer boredom. Offline I'm stuck thanks to a frikin gigginox, and online I end up quitting because people either refuse to chat or leave immediatly after a quest..
I hope you have your keyboard ready by the way!
Lagi took me 2 tries before I got him. The first time, I had him limping and sleeping with 1 min left, then ran out of time D:
Second time, though, I beat it at about 40 mins.
He is weak against fire. The best place to be is near his back, where only him turning can hit you. Other than the lightning attacks, he is like the Royal Ludroth.
In MP, it took a few tries in the arena before I could develop a strategy.. In SP, I already had a strategy, so all I had to do was farm enough materials to create a powerful lance. I got a confidence boost after thrusting straight through his heart in the arena, so any other time I faced him felt like a piece of cake! :wink.gif:
Why is this thread not on the first page? I'm disgusted.
Anyway, it's been a couple months since I've played Tri.
Alatreon was a horrible ordeal. I'd die maybe once every other/every three rounds with him. Meanwhile, other people are dropping like flies. Alatreon's just a big Kusha...
After I finally finished Alatreon, I realized people who were high-level and didn't just leech through the game were far and few. And I got kind of bored. : (
It's a shame really. I love the game to death, but I have no one to play with.
This is probably my favorite suit from the game, as it was the most reliable for me. And I plan on making some monster hunter tri skins for my character. If I can't pull off this one, I'll just do a jaggi gunner or blade suit. I only really had three suits in the game that I ever used; Jaggi gunner, gobul blade, and jhen blade.
Yay! New thread!
...
Gripe: I HAVE YET TO ****ING BEAT GOBUL.
I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS.
What armor suit and weapon are you using? Have you tried other weapons?
Anyways, so thinking back the last thing I did was kill a jhen mohran in low rank. I have a full jhen blade suit, which is the best armor in low rank, and I use an urugaan switchaxe. I want to get a high rank jhen suit and a jhen battle axe, if for appearances only, but I find it nearly impossible to level up anymore. The trouble isn't in my skill, its in my connection. It keeps dropping me. So. Many. Times. I haven't been able to play since I'm in college now, though.
This is my favorite armor on Tri, along with jeweling the Bombardier skill and quick carve. I had no problem with Alateron, first try we won. Granted after that my team couldnt even seem to hit him lol.
Been a few weeks since I last played though. After finally killing him over and over its like "what else is there to do" Deviljho is easy, Alateron is simple if you have a good team, the events arent worth it..... I want to get Monster Hunter Frontier when it finally comes to USA but on top of the Xbox live AND a supposed monthly fee on top of it.....doubt it.
Been so long since I played this game, got bored ever since people abandoned the quest almost everytime after 30 minutes of getting into a good lobby. Had to do the urgent lagi quest on multiplayer alone due to matchmaking be annoying.
On another note, everything up barrioth is easy (especially the barrioth ever since I spent an entire day just practicing against it), except the damned barroth! No matter what level I am the thing always kicks my ass!

I still have no idea what armour I'm going for.

I got a demo for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Dat Hypnowhatever thing is pretty easy when I used a Greatsword.
