That would actually look really good if it had some volume under what's there now. A simple prism to fill some space beneath it's center would greatly enhance it.

I tried to do that, but I was trying SketchUp for the first time, and I'm not very good at it. I'm going to try and fix it when I know what I'm doing.

No offense, but that looks more like gun then a ship(and don't try to make it into a gun). I suggest making it a little less rounded, and possibly, turn it around so what is the back now will be the front. Also, physically, that would be an unstable ship in real life as it is extremely back heavy, and has only one tiny engine. Think POSSIBLE(in the futute).

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every second of it.
A questionable model is better than no model at all.
Also, it wouldn't be back heavy in space. There'd be no gravity. It might be a problem if it were supposed to land on a planet, but I imagine "The Space Beyond" only takes place in open space.
Anyway, this is the kind of ship I was thinking about, rendered in a state-of-the-art MS paint drawing.

For one, in The Space Beyond, you will be able to land on planets, also, he Blaster said that would be intended as a mining ship, which it did somewhat fit for more so than a reguler open space shuttle, and would need to be close to or onthe surface of a planet. I love that one you did as an MS Paint drawing, as it adds a bit morw of that realistic, non-cartoony volume to the previously posted version of that ship.

Nice, I started working on a hoverbus to kind of shuttle around the surface of a planet, and that bigger ship looks like it would be perfect for carrying it down to a planet, I gotta go do some yard work, so I'll post my hoverbus a bit later.

I might try to get in on this MS-Paint concept art stuff.

The inquisitors were torturing Harry.
First, Ignatius used the rock.
Then Billy asked Harry if he wanted to read his BDSM blog. Harry was so surprised that his pants flew right off. He was wearing women's underpants. The inquisitors were wearing them, too.
EDIT: It looks like I forgot to oblique the bottom of the cockpit, but it's still easy to recognize.
I tried my hand at SketchUp again. This was much better than my previous attempt, although I don't think the ship is symmetrical, but it fakes it pretty well. There's also a couple of weird errors on the inside of the ship's floor, but I can't fix those.
Edit: I realize it's not exactly the same as your sketch, A.I., but I think it's pretty close.
Here's a basic overview of my hoverbus, the yellow circles are headlights, the orange ones are where the thrust would come from, and the black tinted rectangle is the windsheild. I will make it a bit more complex later.
*Edit
I think I'm just gonna add some treds and make it not fly at all, because for one it would look better that way, and for two, it just makes more sense.

Treds yes, this "bus" is supposed to be somewhat of an exploration vehicle, something that cannot fly through space, but can trek across the service of rocky, mountainous planets. Wheels wouldn't make it through the terrain, and hover engines would be unneficient, unable to get throught the terrain, and just kind of something there for show cuz its futuristic. Treds can be futuristic too you know.

I made that engine before I thought of making treds. A helicopter-esc space shuttle would suffice, and then possibly a smaller, more lightweight hover version of my bus could be used as a cheap way to quicly travel across the surface.

Second, I had another go at a hover vehicle. It's drawn smaller for the sake of precision, but that doesn't mean it would actually be smaller. This is a side view.
Woo, now I'm just having fun with this. It's kinda weird, but I like it (It's a spaceship).

They realized that they were all men of the lord.

I'll do some drawing tomorrow and see what I come up with.
Thus ends my career of drawing in MS Paint.

Edit: Then again, I seem to be better at story line aspects of games, so I'll write a short story some time today.
