I guess the thread title says it all. I love boss fight music. My favorites are probably "Tokyovania" by SharaX, "Never Let Up!" from "Mario and Luigi: Dream Team", and "Spider Dance" from Undertale.

Phase 1 is also excellent. Actually, ALL the boss music in that game
was excellent. I haven't played it and never will, but dang they got the
tunes right.

There is no way I can nail out them all, so I'll probably add more later.

Aye, most 3d Sonic final bosses have two stages and thus two themes. First you have the epic final battle theme, then the refrain of the main theme for stage 2.
The entire Sonic 2006 soundtrack was great, too bad the game itself was very buggy and unpolished, it could've and should've been a great game but was obviously pushed out the door before it was ready.
Anyway,
AC4's final battle theme was cool, but I must say I prefer AC Zero and 5's respective final boss themes.
Some other really neat boss themes off the top of my head.
One of the boss themes from the first Witcher game.
From Freedom Planet
From Sonic 2 (Game Gear), think it may have been the first boss theme I ever heard (also, that first boss in Sonic 2 GG is rage-inducingly unfair, lol)
Here's another Robotnik boss theme, this one from my favorite 2d Sonic game
Baldur's Gate 2 expansion final boss
Skies of Arcadia had some really enjoyable boss themes that would change verse based on how well the player was doing.
But IMO, one of the most iconic boss themes is Bowser's theme from Mario 64.
(of course I recommend checking out this awesome cover of Bowser's theme)
That honor must go to Skyrim and its dragon music. More specifically Dragonborn. It simply sounds amazing, and I find myself hunting dragons just to hear it again.

If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
I really like Asgores theme and Battle against a True Hero from Undertale, as well as various soundtracks from Mario. Though there was this one song from Kirby i really liked years ago, couldn't really remember the name of it though.
That honor must go to Skyrim and its dragon music. More specifically Dragonborn. It simply sounds amazing, and I find myself hunting dragons just to hear it again.
I found that soundtrack to be quite amazing myself. I've always loved the soundtrack for Skyrim and would never mind to hear it again just by going to certain scenes, like the dragons.
king jack o lantern from borderlands 2, love that spooky Halloween themed music
or could really be any of the bosses from binding of Issac afterbirth or is it rebirth forget which is the base game and which is the dlc lol.

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
Speaking of Borderlands, my favorite boss themes from that series were Boom & Bewm's theme and the song that played during the RK5 battle in pre-sequel.
And it's like, no matter how bad they try, no matter how much they ruin the game, Sega has failed time and time again to make a final boss with lame music:
Finally finished Witcher 3 (main game), the penultimate boss fight had some really cool music, a down tempo song with the main Witcher theme's motiff (perfect for battling on an iceberg).

Prepare ye old buttocks, I've got a good list.

Figured it was time for a change.

Sitenno.
*Don't* Google it.
Seriously, for the love of god don't. Besides, I like it for what it made me remember, not exactly the thing I suppose.
...Did you post in the right thread? Regardless, I'll take your word for it.

I don't really have a favorite track of all time. Of recent, though, I've found I've been liking the Stone Talus theme from Breath of the Wild.
If you like Breath of the Wild-style music, you should check out Cleffernote's other songs.
Want to see my suggestions? Here they are!
I am also known as GameWyrm or GameWyrm97. You can also find me at snapshotmc.com
Lately, I've really been digging the tracks from Altertale.
I just remembered a particular boss theme from the Ratchet and Clank games
Courtney Gears boss battle theme, because what's a better anthem for a merciless robot uprising than a Britney Spears-esque song?
Of course that's just the battle music, the full song with vocals occurred in a cutscene earlier in the game.
for me, it could either be

Good question. I really can't choose one, but I like these:
And, of course, this:
EDIT: I didn't snivylover626's post above until now, and I completely agree that UNDERTALE's "Finale" is an awesome boss battle song.
Click here to see dragons I've successfully raised! (EDIT: Veeeery old; I don't raise dragons anymore)
Ah, Kirby. Good taste. I prefer the final boss for Chrono Trigger. As for "calm" 4, I wonder what it would have sounded like if it was complete.
Gonna put up a few more myself:

Super Paper Mario was pretty great.
