So in Cossacks 3 this highly intelligent landing maneuver was pulled off by the AI.
Though the AI being the AI they learned to leave when they saw my men walk up to intervene and try again elsewhere. The unfortunate thing is that in the end I was taken out by a much smaller force that had managed to land because I neglected to drill my troops, so eager I was to get to the 18th century.

Below is a month or so old screenshot from the FTB server. It's a zombie in nanosuit armor (extremely expensive to make) in my automatic soybean farm. To the left is a secret passage to my automatic oreberry farm.
From ye olde FTB server. My meager bedroom. Later I redecorated with marble. My base was built into a mountain and I was more focused on building my automatic methods of food and energy production than on sleeping arrangements.
From my first Stellaris play through, this is my first ringworld. My fleet would have been extremely small in comparison to a regular ringworld fleet, but this fallen empire had been fighting the Unbidden for many decades before I snuck in, destroyed the Unbidden portal, and then conquered the fallen empire.
The many fleets, in total probably 200k (compared to 15k in the above one) used in my RGH play through. Their fleets didn't stand a chance.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
I was referring to the four-tower fort with crenelated walkways in the third screenshot, north of what appears to be either a tower or an armory in the southwest.
Now, I know some folks will say it's not the size of the fort that matters but rather how one uses it, but still, a fort that small is not going to leave a lasting impression.

I definitely feel that the city planning aspect makes you think more about your city placements. At first I thought it was a hassle, but I'm kind of liking it now. The government types and legacy bonuses are also pretty cool.

Apparently American tanks can fly now.

American tanks always fly on wings of freedom!
I played AFF for a bit this afternoon and took some more action shots.
More flying tanks, in fact this is a US x-wing tank.
Just remember your freedom bucks are paying for this guy's fuel.
