This is a bit of old news at this point, but Nintendo have announced a while back that Zelda U will be the only game they cover at E3 this year.
I am simultaneously extremely hyped that we're gonna get a massive amount of news on Zelda U, but also very disappointed that it's the only thing we're getting. I guess I'd rather them just come right out and say they have nothing to show rather than give us a bunch of padding like they have been the last few years, but I was really hoping for an amazing E3, including the reveal of the NX, which they have still yet to even name. I guess Nintendo really just isn't taking the E3 time as seriously anymore and is focusing more on their Nintendo Directs which happen at seemingly random times.
Still, as a Zelda fan, I am excited to see more information on what the game is actually about so I can stop blindly speculating based on the little footage we currently have and actually be given a large chunk of information we can really draw conclusions from. Seriously, you should have seen Zelda Universe when they first revealed that one like 6-second clip of gameplay. People were increasing the contrast, comparing the locations of the landmarks to locations in previous games, someone even pointed out the position of the sun to show that what seemed to be Death Mountain was to the south rather than the North like it usually is.
