So, I recently traded in a boatload of my games to be able to get a birthday gift for my friend, but now I'm nearly out, with just Pokemon games and a few miscellaneous old original DS games. I could really use some good games for either original DS or 3ds to start rebuilding my collection. Couple of things to know:
I need cheap games, preferably under 5 dollars, 10 at the most. I'm not very wealthy, so I need to make do with cheap solutions for my gaming needs.
I need my smash bros education
I need my Zelda education
If it's gaming and it's not Pokemon, I need my education
Any education must start less than 10 dollars, which will certainly not be possible for some educations
Anything I buy, it'll be in the form of a cartridge. No eshop buys that aren't free.
I love games with character customization that goes beyond name and gender, but this isn't required.
High replay value would be good, as it'll be worth more to me.
Thanks to everyone in advanced.

Feel free to PM me to talk about Doctor Who, Pokemon, or Harry Potter!
Any, as my O2DS has backwards compatibility for DS games, and I'm not aware of any exclusively N3DS games.
There are a very few, including SNES games (Blargsnes works great for O3DS, but thats with a hacked O3DS), Monter Hunter 4 (or something like that) and The Binding of Issac. Also, there are a couple games I don't recommend for O3DS that still work (Hyrule Warriors, Terraria).

Only N3DS exclusive as far as I know is Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. As the O3DS is weaker than the Wii.
Although I still go against getting Hyrule Warriors Legends as it is quite choppy on the old guy.

And SNES games (unless you have a hack'd 3ds) and the Binding of Issac.

I'm confused.. so you're looking for games to buy that might be cheap? For the original DS, O3DS, or N3DS?

Front Mission DS, the options for parts and weapons on your Wanzer is pretty nice.
Only games that weren't pokemon that I really got into on the DS were...
Castlelvania: dawn of sorrow
Disgaea DS

Oh yeah forgot about those VC titles. Did people really get those working on the O3DS?

Not quite, however you can use custom emulation software (blargsnes) to run snes on o3ds.
The world ends with you is a awesome jrpg. For the original DS.
