That's a good idea. I had one of the sequels/remakes on Gamecube, and I enjoyed it fairly well. I think it's the nostalgia of it being one of most memorable arcade games I've played along with Killer Instinct more than the game itself. Rampage got repetitive when I played the GC disc. There's something to be said about arcades, as they are pretty much all but extinct in the US. (There are kids places that have "arcades" as they call them, but they are wack a mole, skeet ball, hoops, and other such non-video arcades. There's also a chain starting around here for grown men to go get drunk and play video games. Besides it's ridiculously expensive.)

I think the first game I ever played on my PS2 was Shrek Super Slam. I actually really liked it at the time, it was basically just a fighter with Shrek characters. Just watched a video of it now. Oh my, the nostalgia. I completely forgot that music. :'( I think this is the first game I ever played, anyway. Its my best guess. I might have played some PC games before it on my Dad's computer or something.
First game I played was Dig Dug on the first Atari. I was amazed such a thing could be so awesome. My dad and I would stay up till the wee hours of the morning playing this on an old wood cabinet television in the basement. Real father son bonding right there.

Behold, the mind blowing graphics and gameplay.
Actually that is the arcade version. This is the 2600 version:
Ahhh, yes. That looks and sounds much more familiar. I can smell the carpet glue of my basement and whiffs of ozone from the overheating television and Atari now.

I don't remember it, but my mom tells me it's the Mega Drive version of Pac Man.

Bear in mind that I tend not to future-proof my posts. If I said something a while back that doesn't make sense, it probably did make sense at the time.
Also, unless my avatar at the time is a Minecraft skin, I probably didn't make it. Google image search is a very real thing.
As far back as I remember, I am about 99% sure my first game was New Super Mario Bros for the DS, but it might have been Wii Sports Resort on the Wii. Gosh, now I really want to play those games.

Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo
Wario: Master(s?) of Disguise. Either that, or Animal Crossing Wild World or Pokemon Diamond.
#TeamLitten I finally decided!
My avatar is currently a Whisper, Jibanyan and words. Oh, and Buttons's glasses.
Even though I do like Litten, Popplio deserves love too. #PopplioDefenseSquad
Say hello to my latest obsession I will spend hours talking to myself about, AKA Yo-Kai Watch.
Super Mario Bros for NES was the first I played.

Star Wars Battlefront II
I like JRPGs more now. What a transition.
Check out this mod, which now has a 1.8 brother to the 1.7 version.
Mine is probably ssx3 for the ps2 or Donkey kong country for the GBA.
The Amazing Spoderman on PSone
Combat on the Atari 2600, some time in the late 70s. Makes me feel old, lol.
One of the Namco Museum collections for PlayStation. The opening animation for the PlayStation always startled me .
