One pattern I notice is that a lot of parents today seem to think their kids are super genius pros. I know a lady who's son can open a web browser (he's 8). This apparently is a sign he is going to be a supergenius and start the next huge company. It just results in Dunning-Kruger.

I was able to open a web browser when I was 5, tell that kid to go home and cry.

I +1 that. Happens for me. Sure I can build a computer, but that wont make me a millionaire...
9 years ago, when I was 6, my parents bought me a Wii. I spent hours playing Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. Two years later, I started using my dad's copy of Twilight Princess. That is when my love for gaming truly began.

My current avatar is Gyro Zeppeli from the popular manga Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. He's my favorite character. I love his optimism, dry humor, and his ability to do considerable damage even without a stand.
I believe it was 2003. Young kid games to learn my prefixes, words, all that fun stuff.
But when I first got an actual game like Sonic Unleashed, Terraria, etc., it was in 2005 or 2006 when I got my first Wii and played Wii Sports and my first Mario game, which was Mariokart Wii. Boy oh boy, old memories, so nostalgic, omg. XD
I think I was like 8 or 9. I remember my dad coming home from work with a Nintendo 64 and some games for it. That console still runs perfectly to this day, unlike some of todays consoles which I've had to replace after about two years.
