Ah.... seven years old. Sitting in the observation room of the airport waiting for my father to come home (he died last April and that still stings). Sitting in the middle of the room was a game. My uncle lead me to it, put a quarter in, and let me play.
That game? Space Invaders. Didn't understand what to do. Just wiggling the joystick and pressing the button seem so much fun at the time...
I started out with the Playstation 1 and original Xbox, with Spyro 2 Riptos Rage and Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon for PS1 (I pretty much had them and played them around the same time) Then for the Xbox I had the first and original Halo game, Halo: Combat Evolved, along with Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. Those are basically the first few games I started playing when I was like 6 or 7.
I borrowed a friend's Sega when I was a kid. Might have been the Ren and Stimpy game. Though it also could have been at an arcade. I just know we didn't have a computer until I was 7 years old.
A game called "Pong" around 1977 or 78. It consisted of two white bars on either side of a black screen, and the objective was to hit the ball back and forth between two players, sort of like tennis.
Hmm as far back as I can remember the first game that I played was Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2 on the GameCube. I remember never being able to beat the game because I could never get the hang of the thermalrangs.

1 Year ago the military was on the losing side of the war. All seemed bleak until one soldier brought a penguin in to training. They had trained that penguin in the use of explosives and sent him out into the field. They had thought that they had won but the agent went rouge. Now he only lives on as a legend, the legend of ShotgunPenguin.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for PS1. It was fun to make obstacle courses on the map editor and trying to complete the objectives on career mode was pretty great. It was weird not being able to get off your board though so I always ended up running into lots of things.
Pokemon Yellow. God, that Pikachu was adorable. And I managed somehow to get a Squirtle, too. Then my brother released my Pikachu, and I almost murdered him by beating him with my GameBoy.
Ah, good times...

If you want the link to any of these mods, due to MCForum restrictions, you can't click to see the mod; instead, just search it. PM me for help.
Mod makers: Feel free to PM me if you want a signature, we can discuss it! They're normally free, though if you do special donator perks for your mod, I normally charge a small fee of gaining those donator perks. I find it to be a fair price. ^^

So what was YOUR very first game?

Y'know? I bought Minecraft because I thought it was a war game where you had to create tactically placed proximity explosive devices...

I used to have a good signature, but it got nerfed.
I have a Spoon. Your argument is invalid.
Same. Tetris was my first game.
Did you read post #10?...
