Anyone who has played a Pokemon game has made the big decision: Which Pokemon did you pick to be your partner? Depending which game you played, the starters are usually different. Post here which starter Pokemon you picked in which game. I started playing Pokemon when Ruby and Sapphire versions came out. I chose Treeko because I liked it's design, and it was very helpful against the first gym battle.
I played Diamond out of Diamond and Pearl. I choose chimchar because I liked how he looked.

1 Year ago the military was on the losing side of the war. All seemed bleak until one soldier brought a penguin in to training. They had trained that penguin in the use of explosives and sent him out into the field. They had thought that they had won but the agent went rouge. Now he only lives on as a legend, the legend of ShotgunPenguin.
RBY/FRLG- Charmander, Pikachu (as if I had a choice)
GSC/HGSS- Totodile
RSE- All of them, but Torchic first
B2W2- All of them, Snivy first
X and Y- Chespin. Despite being the crappiest looking starter I just wanted to see if they made any improvements to the Grass starters. All of them look cool though.

Hey, guys. Quote me if you want me to respond. Otherwise I'll have no idea what the hell you want with me.
Friend Code: 1263-6258-8121 (Poison)
Friend Safaris: Poison: Swalot, Whirlipede, Seviper.
For most games, I pick the grass type.
For Touhoumon, which I actually put some time into, I picked CAlice.
For Black, I picked smugleaf but just used Victini, because I'm cheap like that.
I choose them depending in the final evolutions for them. (Also I don't have X and Y, but my friend didn't know which starter to choose, so I suggested Fennekin, so TECHNICALLY I chose a starter) I don't play Pokémon anymore, but I remember the fun it was as a kid. I may play the new recreation of Sapphire though...
Most of the time I have either chosen grass or water, but in Emerald, I chose Torchic.
Blaziken destroyed everything in his past. Of course, I pretty much only used him and Kadabra, so he was around 20 levels above every other trainer.
Squirtle and Mudkip, i always had affinity to Water Types i guess =) (And by the way Mudkip goes to Marshtomp and Swampert, and Swampert is probably one of the best Pokémon, immune to Electric, Has a Ground Water and Ice skills and can use Protect)
Emerald - Torchic
Platinum - Piplup
Black - Oshawott
I don't really play Pokemon anymore.
