"Don't listen to me when I'm angry. I'm another person when I'm angry and though he wanted to go I think I'll stay. We're very different people Doctor, but I think we can work well together." I turn to look at Endy. " Is your machine leaking or something because he's just standing there like a statue."

You were a good section.

"What is it?" I get up and rush over to see what the Doctor was looking at.
{Derek} Well, this has been a boring day...or is it night? I think. At least I have an advantage at night. Some of the perks of being a "hostile" mob is that other hostile mobs won't attack and that I can blow up almost anything I want, like Obsidian, so I can use it freely. But there are a few problems, some being that now humans might attack and everything needs to be larger for a Wither, including beds.
((don't forget, blue Wither Skulls can break Obsidian!))

((The wither itself can also break obsidian. Just FYI ))

((Wait, hold up. You're the guy that's playing as the Wither who ate waffles for breakfast, right? Of course. I meant to nag you about your character but I must've forgotten. Anyways, let the nagging begin! Let's start off with one simple thing that's been eating at me:
Stop giving your character human traits. Jeezus, you can't just say you're a Wither and then go around doing human things. Humans sleep in beds. Withers do not. Humans eat waffles (do waffles even exist in this time period?). Withers do not. See where I'm going with this? Your character is a Wither. Act like it. You aren't human. You don't operate on a breakfast/lunch/dinner cycle either, that's a human-created system. You are a Wither. You're big, you fly, you're a magic bag of black bones from the Nether who should know very little about human culture. How would you even go about gaining that kind of knowledge anyways? You can't just walk up to a group of doods and say 'hey, so what's it like being a human?'. Everyone would run away, scared and shiz. How would you even be able to communicate with them? You shouldn't know English, let alone be even able to speak it. And how would you even reach a human society through the Nether? Withers probably aren't smart or small enough to fit through a portal, which, if you want to be realistic, would have to be created by a professional mage or witch of sorts. Speaking of which, are you in the Nether right now? You should be, unless said type of mage or witch summoned you in the overworld. You can't just be 'born' in the real world, it doesn't really work that way. Withers are from the Nether.
What I'm trying to say is, be practical. Be... realistic. Withers don't grow up in human culture. Feel free to get creative and actually go more in-depth to what being a Wither is like, how they live, survive, mate, etc. I'll say it one last time, please don't just stick a human's mind in a Wither's body. Just sayin'. It's like making a spider say 'Well good morning everyone, I wonder what's for breakfast this fine morning!'.))
((Realism. Obsidian wouldn't be strong at all...))
((Ya it is a bit confusing. They just needed some obscure, volcanic rock to make nether portals and blast shields with. It makes little sense but hey, minecraft is a game where your chased by exploding, green monsters that look vaguely like male genitalia so lets throw in a glass like rock and say it's some of the hardest on the planet.))
((Is this wolf wild or tame? If it's a wild wolf, try to be realistic. 'Max' is a human name, if the wolf is wild, he probably wouldn't call himself Max. And like bobert said, please elaborate. If it's one thing I hate, it's roleplayers who don't put any effort into their posts.
And Tek, what are you waiting on me for again? I'm waiting for you, aren't you leading Jolion's group? The Rob/Reese/Tiger group is hiding in some debris down a tunnel.))
((Yeah........ That's why YOU'RE the head admin :3))

<EpicBobert>: "Wait, what's going on?" Endy asks, rushing over to the panel... "I'm sorry, being an Enderman... well... it's kind of weird... I mean, now, I kind of have a lot of sympathy for them..." Endy says, sighing a bit... What could he mean by 'being an Enderman is kind of weird'?
<...Must I list these guys?>: [Jolion]
"Come on, I think I hear them talking!" I say, creeping forward towards the voices.
[Rob] What am I going to do when... I mean if... we get out of here... I need to find my friend, and I doubt they want to go on a search, back all the way we had came from.. He could be anywhere, I need to find him... I start thinking to myself... What is going on with me? Can't I stay on subject? We are in a dark scary cave, with monsters, or 'mobs' that can kill us! And I'm thinking about my friend! He got out of the ship fine before, I bet he's fine... He know's more about this planet than I do. I don't really know anything about it now that I think about it!
"I hear them getting closer." I whisper. I look out of our hiding spot just a bit, and see a few figures walking in the dark. I can't picture what they look like exactly, but I don't think they're friendly... "They don't look friendly."

Before the invasion had started, I lived a simple life, in a simple house, with simple people. I lived out in the mountains, and had many friends living only hours away. I always loved reading books, and going exploring for a week or more at a time, which is where I learned the Basics of Survival... But, the first day He came, I knew something wasn't right... I was on one of my Survival trips, in a nearby forest near my home when it started, and I decided to go home early. I saw my house up above on the mountain, with a figure standing there. His hands were on fire, as if he was a Wizard, and he touched my house! I screamed for him to stop, but he was to far away... I ran up the mountain, though the normal path towards my home. I had reached my house, to find that the man was gone, but the fire hadn't spread as much... Must have been magic fire... I quickly ran to the back of he house, for the front door was blocked by fire, and grabbed my bucket. I filled it up with water outside from my little pond, and ran to the front of the house. I threw the water onto the house, and the fire got bigger! It blew up, and sent splinters everywhere, including my right leg! I passed out, but when I woke up, the fire was done, and only the explosion mark was left on the side of my house... I was turning night, and I noticed a few monsters roaming below the mountain, it was time to go inside...
I entered my house, and started locking my doors, as usual... For some reason, monsters roamed these parts a lot at night, sometimes the undead were stupid enough to roam during the morn... I grabbed my Stone Spear near in my living room, not sure why it was in there, or why I was getting it, and I sit down on the couch... I hear a voice from outside, but it didn't sound like english, so I looked outside my window.. I saw a huge army of skeletons climbing the mountain, consisting of about 20!!! There was a figure running away from them, the same figure from before! I forget to board up the windows and head towards my backdoor, which is to hard for the undead to reach, but easy enough for me to use, for it is blocked off by mounds of dirt, preventing the undead from climbing over, and into my door... I rushed though the door, and over the pile of dirt. I ran to the front of my house to see the army was closer, but had stopped! The figure was now trying to talk to them, but one of them, with a bow, show an arrow at him! It missed him, and he grew angry. The figure held up his hands and they glowed black! He shot the skeletons with a magic, and they all died!!! He then lowered his hands, and stood there, looking at the, now forever dead, corpses... I was breathing heavily, but he was far enough away, yet he turned around, and looked at me, with his bright white eyes!!!
I was scared, far more scared than ever before. Nothing like this had ever even fathomed me before, not even a Warlock was this powerful! I turn on my heels, to try and go back and hide in my house, but the man was standing there, right in front of me! I pointed my Spear at him, but he just smacked it out of my hands! "Petty fool." he said, folding his arms. "Did you not just see what I did back there? Did I not kill them all with a single blow, for them to be no longer tormented by there forever cursed life?" he asked me. "N-... No... I-.. I saw it..." I said, trembling with more fear. He laughed at me more, but said, "I am not here to harm you. Sometimes, my powers get the hold of me, that is all. I am here to rid your world of this evil, and I came here to offer you a job, but then I saw a creature invading your house, so my instincts took over to vanquish him from this plain..." He said to me. I didn't believe him at all. "So, I wish to ask you something. I am gathering together a group of mighty warriors, to help me in my effort to rid the world of evil. If you wish to join me, just take my hand, and I will show you the light." he said with an evil grin.. I reached out for his hand slowly, but everything went black from there...

Rob grew up on Creeptune, as a poor child. He never went to school, for that is only for the rich, and was taught by his father, a janitor on a famous ship. He had played with the other kids in his establishment, and made any friends, one of which, joined him on his adventure that was soon to come. When he grew older, he joined an exploration team, set out to explore new planets, but he had no idea it had a secret reason other than to explore. As a standard for all ships going on exploration missions, their memories of the past are temporarily erased, as for if they are caught by something, they will not give away anything. Not all memories are lost, such as family stuff, or their friends who join them.

I woke up with Him standing above me. "Welcome back... I'm sure yo-" he tried to say to me, but I hit him square in the face! "What the Nether did you do to me!?" I yelled at him, rolling away to stand up. "What did I do? I did nothing. You only.... tried... to shake my hand. That is all." he said, with a slight grin. I noticed my Spear on the ground, so I jumped up, and bolted for it! I picked it up, and spun back around to face Him, but all was left was laughter... I looked back at my house, which I just figured out I'm below it on the side of the mountain, on the road, was burning again! Almost all of it was destroyed already, and I could see it crumbling already! "No..." I cried, falling to my knees. "Why!" I called out, for no one to hear. I sighed, whipping a few tears away... I stood up, with the use of my spear, and looked one final glance. "My last look..." I said to myself, as I stared at it one last time. The roof came crashing down, and the ledge gave way under it, taking my house down with it... All that was left was a tiny ledge to walk across, to continue up the mountain, but that was it...
I walked down the mountain, and accustomed to it, I reached the bottom quickly, taking the road as my choice of direction. I followed my friends and I's road, which was but tilled dirt, and followed it down to a grouping of my friends houses. Before I reached it, out of the forest, I smelled smoke. "Not again." I said to myself, hurrying towards the houses. I saw one of the houses burning, while the other three were untouched. Everyone was outside, and skeletons were out there, attacking them!!! It was day now, yet they were not even burning! They called out to me, so I rushed down to help them! We battled for awhile, only slightly winning the battle. I took an injury to my leg, and Charles took a large cut to the side.
After the battle, we knew he house to be lost, for it was to late to put it out. "Do you have any idea why they attacked us Jolion?" Charles asked me, gripping his injured side. "I believe so. A man was up by my house, he was talking to the Skeletons, but slew them all. I don't remember how many it was, but it was a lot. I believe his name was Herobrine. He offered me a job of some sort, but I turned him down." I told him. He listened carefully, and with a "Hmm." he motioned the others over, and explained what I said to them. "No one knows who he is, but we doubt he had anything to do with it. Unless we was a Necromancer, I doubt he did all of this." Charles said, tossing His issue aside... "We lost the priest, Damian. Eli was taken with them." He informed me. "They didn't kill Eli? You sure?" I asked him. "Yes, they took him. He wasn't harmed in any way either. "We need to go after him!" I called, worried for my friend. "Yes, but not yet." Charles debated. "We lost Damian don't forget, and the others were hurt too." he continued. I sighed as he said that, but eventually agreed...

We can say he ate a poison waffle or something (Don't actually use that). The thing is, I'm just not a good RPer. And if you start saying that I shouldn't be RPing if I'm bad at it, think: if I never RP, how will I learn to be better?))
((I started with lives RP, and had to adapt to Forum RP pretty quickly. Think of this as Writing a book. Use Google to correct your spelling a bit. :3.. Other than that, it's just adding more realism. I'm only 16 too BTW.
Anyway, we don't just 'spawn them' by doing that sort of stuff. Some sort of magic would be involved, and it would most likely be a 'summon' rather than 'birth'. ATM, I'm starting to think Herobrine kicked most of the 'mobs' out of the Nether, so that is an easy thing settled :3...))

((I'm just going to put this out there. I think Derek the wither was a hit and miss character. Kind of like that other guy that Icebeam was using. Maybe just try and restart? We can say he ate a poison waffle or something (Don't actually use that). I think I can see where you were trying to go with this character but maybe take a direction similar to Fortanono with his Blaze character? Your the embodiment of a wither trapped in human form This lets you have the human like traits you want while still keeping the general essence of Derek. If you want help forming the idea PM me but like I said, just an idea.))
((Yes. And don't forget, try and give your character a Medieval feel to it. By doing that, your posts can become a lot bigger :3...))

Alright, I understand. Don't worry, I've seen RPers that are a lot worse than you. Anyways. So, let me point out that this roleplay is not completely minecraft, it's more a less based on minecraft. I know you can create Withers in the overworld, but it's not realistic. You can't just put blocks together and make things. In this roleplay, summoning (not spawning) a Wither would probably still include Wither skulls, but it would involve a much more complicated process or ritual, like black magic sorcery or something. So basically the roleplay takes several elements from minecraft, but puts them in a more realistic perspective. Just try to keep that in mind.
So, to help you to better your roleplaying skills, I hath conjured up a list of tips and recommendations. TUTOR MODE, GO!
I put it in a spoiler, for convenience.
1. Create a backstory
To help others and yourself to better understand your character, create a backstory. Where did he come from? How did he get to where he is now? Did anything significant happen during his life? This will help you to have more of an understanding of your character, and help to develop why he does things the way he does. And, if he has something unique, item or skill, you can explain how or why he has it.
2. Use emotion
Of course, don't forget your character isn't a robot. He should have emotions and stuff. Just try to incorporate some detail into how he feels and reacts to certain things. Don't forget to express his thoughts, too.
3. Describe things
Try to describe things often, such as your location and other animals, or even other players. If you don't know what another player looks like, ask them, or check on the front page. Tek has organised all the apps there. I'll tell you more about interacting with other RPers next. But the point is, if you encounter another character who looks sketchy or creepy, you probably won't feel like having a cheerful conversation with him. Appearance is key. But back to topic, don't forget to describe your setting so that people know where you are. You don't need to say that you're in a forest all the time, in fact, you don't even need to say the word 'forest' at all. Just give a clear indication, like 'I wandered through the cluster of trees' for a forest, or 'All I could see everywhere was sand' for a desert. You don't want to leave people confused, or even worse, make them think that you're somewhere where you are not. Of course, they can always ask you. Speaking of which, don't forget that applies to you as well. Stay informed about where others characters are, so you know whether or not it is possible to meet up with them or not.
4. Meeting characters
Okay, so most people have a bit of trouble with this one. Your average Joe when he meets a character will probably ask him who he is, why he's there, and maybe exchange a few words and names. Then after that, they're best friends all of a sudden. I don't really like it, but it's alright. But usually in real life if you meet someone, you don't know them very well until a while later. Some important things to think about are first impressions, trustworthiness, and personality. Personally, I enjoy sticking in first impressions when I meet new characters, and even re-describe them. Say I encounter some buff guy, I'd probably say something like "A muscular man suddenly approaches me. Who's this guy? Whoever he is, he doesn't seem friendly. He looks like he could break stone with his fists!", or something like that. But more importantly is trust and personality. Based on what the character does, you should be aware of what you'd think of him in real life. If he seems a like weird and maybe yells something loud every twenty minutes, you probably wouldn't put all your trust in him right away. You might think something like 'Woah, this guy seems crazy, I should keep my distance", and then your character would feel awkward whenever you went near him. Just things like that.
Anyways, I don't want to go typing up twelve pages of this stuff, so I'll just stop there, that's basically all you should really focus on for now. Of course, you won't go pro over night, but try to keep these things in mind and try to include them in your posts. Oh, wait, I can't forget #5: Have fun! If you don't have fun when you roleplay, then maybe it isn't your thing, or maybe you need to start fresh with a new character if you don't enjoy you current one, or don't have enough to develop on. And hey, I'll tell ya, I became a better roleplayer myself since I joined here. :3
<snip>
((I shall read yer bio later, and I'm 16 as well, I THOUGHT WE ALREADY DISCUSSED THIS. I think you really do have Jolion's bad memory. :3 Also, ROB MENTIONED ANOTHER SURVIVING CREEPER-PIG IN HIS THOUGHTS, PLOT TWIST!))
My father continues mumbling nonsense, so I clasp a gentle hand over his mouth to keep him from giving away our location. He clearly seems to be protesting, so I put a firmer grip on him. Eventually he settles down and occupied himself by staring at a small pebble on the ground.
I poke my head around the pile of debris in suite with Rob, my machete in hand. We both witness a small group of figures moving in the distance. Of course, with the darkness of the mine, we can't see them very well. Rob indicates that the group doesn't seem friendly, and I agree. The man in front seems to be carrying what seems to be some sorts of weapons, whilst two others appear heavily armored. Indeed, they don't seem friendly, but they don't look like the typical minions. It's not like He felt like he needed to send armored goons in after us, did he? What did we do that aggravated Him so?
"They surely don't seem like the other minions," I whisper suspiciously.
((OMG! I think I got something from that and I'm freaking out trying to find more proof. If it's what I think it is my mind is blown. But how is he two? Oh god my brain hurts...))

"You might be right." I agreed, "I'm not exactly sure what the Minions should look like, so I may be a bit.... well... for lack of words, nervous." I say, as they get a bit closer to our group... That one is walking with a limp almost... it's very mild... but...
[Jolion]
"Where are they?" I ask, moving my Iron Dagger around. "I thought they would have been in here." I continued, walking down the pathway more... I think I hear voices whispering back and forth, but can't exactly pinpoint where they're coming from. One of them was hiss- "CREEPER!!!!" I yelled, stopping to play with my weapon. "I can't see it, but I hear it!" I continue to yell out, looking all around.
[Rob] Oh, of course! I know that voice... It's the one man... the older one that tried to kill me. Something's not right about him, but the others keep him in check. I think to myself, getting ready to get up and out to say 'Hello'. I hope I don't get separated and trapped with him...

((Nice. I just noticed it and read it all! Nice tips, and I'll be sure to include more of that stuff! I always seem to forget people don't read what I think xD.... Like in my bio, you probably don't notice how the mountain looks, or the simple fact there's a big road going around it to get up. Or once I reach the bottom it turns into a 'grouping of trees', and the houses are in an opening.
I know that wasn't for me, but it helps! A LOT!!!... Forum RP is still a bit new to me, so I'm not very good at describing locations and such. I'm used to RPing in games, of course the same character and memories he has, but it's a bit different. All you have to do there is talk, "Hello! I haven't seen you in these parts, are you new?" and actions. *Throwing out a hand to shake* so yeah, that bit of advice helped me to! :3... I'm so glad we got Tarantula as the Head Admin, for I bet he's been in a few Serious RPs before, which I've yet to find. He's also probably written a few short stories or such as that, which I hope to do!))

Well, this has been a boring day...or is it night?
Just FYI ))
((Page claim? What page claim?))
Oh no, it's a link to an awesome flash game!
((Also, a wild Page Claim appeared!))
((Also one more idea for you chrono. If you want human traits be a god dam human!))

Tiny Bio
((I added this to Jolion's Bio:

((Thing is, I'm not a good RPer. I don't know how to do things well. I'm also probably the youngest one here, only 12. I'm not someone who knows what he's doing. And you can spawn Withers in the Overworld -- you just need stuff from the Nether (4 Soul Sand, 3 Wither Skeleton Heads) to do it. I'm not someone who can be creative. The thing is, I'm just not a good RPer. And if you start saying that I shouldn't be RPing if I'm bad at it, think: if I never RP, how will I learn to be better?))
Oh no, it's a link to an awesome flash game!
((Oh, I edited my post just above. I edited Jolion's Bio, if you care to read :3)) ((Yes. And don't forget, try and give your character a Medieval feel to it. By doing that, your posts can become a lot bigger :3...))
((That's all for now. I've got to go eat. I'll be back after food/chores.))

Oh no, it's a link to an awesome flash game!
OKAY. MENTOR MODE, OFF!))

((Yeah, I sort of agree. Can Tek or TarantulaKid force reset my character somehow?))
((Thanks. I'll check it after my computer stops glitching. XC))
[Rob]
Oh, of course! I know that voice... It's the one man... the older one that tried to kill me. Something's not right about him, but the others keep him in check. I think to myself, getting ready to get up and out to say 'Hello'. I hope I don't get separated and trapped with him...
