"This is the job. Find'em at 9:00 for further details. The bounty rewards are going to be arranged after you finish it." Said the Green-haired little girl. "Not sure if i'll get the money, not sure if this is a trap.. seems a perfect job to me." He said. Laughed for a milisecond, and then realized it's not a joke after all. Better dead than being a vagabond, he thought. "I'm already set and up". He wandered for a meanwhile trying to find the place they sorted out. Sat on the ground, resting in a shade, waiting for the rest of the group to come out. "Let'ssee who's my dirty job partners."
Toby heads in the direction of a restaurant he passed earlier and finds two people standing outside talking. He recognizes one as a kid he saw on the boat getting here, but the other one is completely new to him. Both of them look hungry so he greets them, "Hey, you guys look hungry. Wanna grab some food? I got money, and I can easily get more." He says to them.
- He took the contract about finding dead bodies - But this whole waiting-for-people thing bored Yulvtar. "They're definitelly not coming." Wandered for meanwhile, and thought he could find something.. Maybe in a ghetto, maybe somewhere deaths could happen frequently. He didn't know where to look for a corpse, and decided to let this contract suspended for meanwhile. Walked through a Restaurant and gave himself a nice had dinner. Then, spent some time asking himself how late is it, His choice was to go to the Apt. to rest until the morning, and then find a serious contract. One he could not miss, by any chance.
((Q&A¹
Can we "make up" contracts for ourselves or only OP/Moderators can?
We can find anything we "want", being realistic? Can we decide a price being realistic?))

[Clyde & Netal]
Clyde had to show the kid to the faction houses. Plus, he had to join it himself. He heard it gave shelter and food. "Come here, kid. I know a place with basic necessities. Factions!"
Netal wondered what a faction was, but kept his mouth shut and followed Clyde.
"By the way kid, what's your name? Mine's Clyde." Clyde asked, a smile on his face.
Netal looked at him and said, "Netal. Nice to meet you, Clyde."
That was the only speech they had for the rest of the walk. They went in and out of alleyways, going down roads, sometimes crowded with people, sometimes a ghost town, but they kept on walking until they came to what seemed like a building. Entering the place, they saw a lady. She slowly walked over to them and greeted them.
"Hello there. You must be new arrivals. You, come with me. I need to see your powers," she said, pointing at Clyde.
Clyde slowly walked over, unsure of what was going to happen.
"You, just stay and wait out here. Don't let the bigger people scare you. We're all nice here. Most of us at least," she said, looking at Netal.
Netal took a seat and stared at the wall.
Clyde walked into a secluded room with only him and the lady. "So uh... What do I do?"
The lady looked at him with no emotion. "Show me a tidbit of your powers."
Saying a wary OK, he walked into the middle of the room. He held his hands out as he felt the water coming out of his body. "Good thing I drank a lot today,"Clyde thought as his hands began to get covered with water. After having his hands hold two large blobs of water, he formed them into several shurikens and threw them into a wall, all of them lining up as he back-flipped, shooting several darts of water that tore into the wall. After getting back down, he turned the floor in a circumference around him into water, swirling the water around rapidly, he started sucking in the chairs and tables scattered around the room. Soon, they were all orbiting around him, and he could feel his hydration start to diminish quickly. Releasing it upward, the vortex of water shot into the sky, crashing into the ceiling. Sucking back in the water, he felt hydrated again, but he still needed a drink. Or three. Panting slightly, he turned to the woman.
"You seem to have the skill. Barely. But before you can get a house, you will need to go on a mission. Come back here at 9:00."
"Can I have a drink?" Clyde called out. Saying behind her back, she shouted, "It's in the lobby."
Netal was twiddling his thumbs when the woman came out. He looked behind her and saw Clyde head straight to the water dispenser. He seemed to be dripping water. Wondering what happened, he stood up right when they lady instructed him to.
"Come with me, it's your turn."
Following the lady, Netal came into a room with several tables and chairs scattered about. Wondering what he was going to do, she shut the doors behind him.
"Show me what you have."
"What, power-wise?"
"Yes."
"What am I supposed to do?"
"Just show me your powers."
Complying with her demands, a skeptical look still on his face, he quickly shapeshifted into an eagle, flying straight at a chair. He grabbed it with his talons as he flew to the ceiling, smashing it against the top. After broken pieces of the chair fell down, he targeted a table, carrying it with some effort where he dropped it beneath him, then turning into an elephant, crushing the table and shuddering the floor, cracking it. In a heartbeat, he turned into a tiger, pouncing on another chair, smashing it into pieces with his paws. Turning around, he turned back into a... bunny?! Netal opened his tiny bunny mouth as he saw a quick frown on the lady's face, which went back to it's monotonous norm. After a few seconds, he was able to turn back into a human, clutching a table that wasn't broken as a wave of confusion hit him.
"It see-" the lady started.
"Give me a moment," Netal said, holding out his finger.
Clearly not amused, she continued. "You just barely passed the test. Meet me here again in the lobby at 9, you still have to prove yourself with a mission," she said, her eyes narrowed.
Returning back, Clyde meeted him.
"How'd you do?" he said, excited.
"I... passed?" Netal replied.
"Me too!" Clyde said, smiling.
"Let's go get something to eat, to celebrate this victory!" Clyde said, running out the door.
"What victory? We just demonstrated our powers to someone who doesn't seem normal. Or different from regular Gifted."
"From regular wha-?"
"Gifted. It's what I call your freaks. Anyways, lets go back to the bread shop for now. I want the frosted donuts."

((In reply to Zamot))
[Netal]
After getting back to the shop, he saw someone walk towards them. His face seemingly familiar, he asks, "Hey, aren't you that Toby kid I saw on the boat?" he asked, despite the fact he was older than him.
[Clyde]
He was walking with Netal to the shop when he saw someone stop them. Netal seemed to know him, so he let him have his moment as he got his money ready. "I don't have much," he said, looking at the feeble amount of coins in his hands. Suddenly, the stranger offered to pay for their food. "R-Really? Okay then, but I'll pay for some of it," Clyde said, holding out his coins.
((Also, I'm probably going to be gone for about an hour, maybe less, maybe more. Just don't do anything too epic, alright? Also, @Zamot, if you were planning on doing something when we were eating, wait for me. If nothing significant is going to happen, you can roleplay as me because I think I won't be back until the latter of my options.))
The lady at the desk simply pointed over to the right, where a large board sat on the wall, with many papers and other notices sat. Heric looked over at the board, and noticed, among others, a paper describing monsters, and the money they're worth, wanted posters, and one worn poster, which seemed to belong with the rest of the monsters. It showed a golden pig, and the bounty was enormous.
Heric also noticed something about factions, including which ones there are, and where to go to join on. "Ah, it's based on your powers. Alright, let's give this elemental one a try." He walked out the building, to head towards this building.

Would you rather read a story of knights and dragons, or be in one?
I'm glad people support my dragon raising. Could I ask for assistance with this one now?
Check out my dragon scroll(http://dragcave.net/user/Heric) if you want to see the dragons I have. I may get more dragons later.
I walked over to a bulletin board that was covered in posters and maps. "Hm... hah! A flying pig! Ridiculous!" I laughed, looking back at the bulletin board. "Hm... Well, my power would likely be physical, so I might as well check out this Faction Housing stuff!" I said, walking into the city.

As I leave the city hall, I notice quite a few Gifted from our group had been following me. I didn't really care, but still, that's kinda weird. I walk down the street of the bustling city and take the elevator up to my new penthouse. After making sure everything was in order (good view, working electricity and plumbing, clean), I head back down to the street for a bite to eat. I see Toby and Netal with another man I didn't know standing outside of a shop. I walk past them, heading for a classier restaurant to eat lunch at. After an extremely filling meal of pasta and salad, I take a seat on a city bench outside and relax.
Now that was a great meal, but I think I ate to much.
I spot Max walking down the street, but before I get a chance to say hello, he enters a building. Dimensional Faction, reads the front of the building.
I might as well join, it should be fun. Now what is Max doing?
I watch as Max shatters a chair against a wall, maybe by accident? Max then creates a slow shockwave the cracks the glass cases around the room, and also shoves most objects back. Next, Max teleports himself, and then a chair across the lobby. The lady watching him nods, which I assume meant he is accepted.
I walk in after, and say "Hi, I'm Liam Barker, I would like to join this Faction."
"Just, try not to break anything" the lady says, levitating bits of chair into the trash. "Show me what you can do"
How should I show off my power? I need to impress her or make myself look useful...
I walk over to a nearby display case and reach my arm straight through the glass; absorbing a trophy inside. I step back and pull the trophy back out of my Pocket, holding it up so she can see it.
"I'm still waiting to be impressed," the lady says dismissively.
Tch, didn't think so... screw you lady!
I give her a dour look and raise my hand to the display case. Without breaking eye contact with her, I shoot a steady stream of bullets into the display case. The only sounds in the room are the bullets hissing through the air and the display case shattering and crumbling under dozens of bullets. I finish my barrage with a grenade blast, which causes the lady to jump, to my satisfaction. The display case and the trophies inside are an absolute mess, but I don't stop there. I pour gasoline out of my outstretched palm onto the wreckage, then drop a lit match on the whole mess, setting it ablaze.
"Still waiting?" I ask the lady with a sneer. She had it coming, I thought. (Besides, the glass was already cracked.) The lady never gets a chance to answer, however, as a girl with a dangerous air about her steps out of an elevator and into the lobby, causing the receptionist to flinch.
That's weird, the lady only glared at me when I broke the trophies...
"MY TROPHIES!!!" the girls screams at me, levitating a sharp chunk of wood at my face.
"Sorry, didn't know they were they were that important." I say, absorbing the chunk of wood into my Trick House and shooting it into the small fire I had going.
Suddenly, the girl's face changes from enraged to jubilant. "Cool power! You are definitely joining us. I'll see you at the mission tonight." the girl says, completely changing moods. She skips out of the lobby and into the street, throwing the building doors open with a gesture.
The lady sighs and says "That was our faction leader you just met. Lucky for you, she likes your power. Come to the mission tonight, she'll be looking for you.
A little shocked, I reply "Okay then, I guess I'm in. ""So uhh, what's this mission?" I ask.
"More details will be provided on site. The mission will include members of every faction. Just show up ready to fight, you'll get filled in on the rest when you get there."
"Alright, thanks." I walk outside with a pensive look on my face
I should get ready for this mission, whatever it is...
((The mission is going to be a raid on an ETG forward operating base being built in the forest near Brinkhaven. All of the faction leaders will be there to assess how the new recruits fight ETG. The goal (of the faction leaders at least) is to completely destroy the base, salvage whatever is left, and determine which recruits are suitable for their respective factions.))

<Valen>
It was getting dark, but we just continued through the woods. I start to wonder what I'm getting myself into. Suddenly we stop. I could make out what I imagine was an abandoned old house a bit ahead. the tiger woman and the woman with green hair turn, the tiger one saying "Wait here." So I do. Eventually a woman comes forward in a luxurious black garment, holding Aaron's decapitated head. Without entirely thinking, I shout out "Hey you!"
She responds with an eery calm. "Hold your breath." She holds out Aaron's head, and its eyes begin to glow.
Naturally, I freaked the f█ck out. Then the decapitated head started floating towards me. Holy sh█t holy sh█t holy sh█t.
It came just inches from my face, opened its mouth, and said "Hi Valen." HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T.
Suddenly, me and Xzyckxse were surrounded by glowing eyes, slowly spinning around from the trees. I looked closer and could see that they were all a bunch of Aaron heads floating around.
"HOLY FREAKING SH█T OH MY GOD."
The severed heads all started spinning faster around me and closing in on me as with their freaky glowing eyes, laughing like demons from the deepest pits of hell.
Needless to say, I totally lost my sh█t right there in front of Xzyckxse and the woman. I totally did an acrobatic f█cking pirouette off the handle like seizure incarnate.
I don't want to talk about it.
I looked around the room, startled upon hearing the bullets sail through the air. I then looked towards the source - Liam. After watching the event with the leader and Liam, I walked up to Liam, and grinned. "Hey, Liam. Did you just get accepted?" I asked.
((Ryik... what the heck... ))

((Not enough sadism. My take on it is that she hates you.
How's these:
Elemental: Kirin K. Kaliborn
Dimensional: Meenah F. Bind
Physical: Caedere A. Fiore - "Crow"
Mental: Amadeus S. Luxord
Unaligned: Akira M. Saia
Also, I suppose Akira's ability isn't merely luck, but also being a Mary Sue, though that's pretty much the same thing in the end...))
<Valen>
It came just inches from my face, opened its mouth, and said "Hi Valen."
HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T HOLY SH█T.
((Ryik... what the heck... ))
"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar
