Okay everyone, here's what this is. It's a short story i've been working on, based around the bio of my character for my RP server. It's not complete yet, this is just Chapter One. I will be adding more to it as time goes on. The events that happen after a certain point will be loosely based around things that happen on our server and I will point out credit to people as I go. I will answer questions and talk about it a bit if you like, I also accept PM's.

Just in case you guys would like to see the inspiration.
I will also be taking constructive citicism, I know this isin't perfect but it left my exceedingly jaded freinds clamoring for more, so I will gladly hear anything you guys have to say right here.
Our story is Called 'A Demon's Tale' , I hope you enjoy it.
A Demon's Tale
Prologue
I know what you're thinking, how did I get here? How did this corrupted, evil-looking being become the leader of an empire? If you care to sit for a while I will tell you my tale. This is my story. A story of innocence, of peace. A story of hatred, and revenge.
The day was a sunny one, perfect for harvesting crops. I went about my work as I had for the last 30 years of my life, happily and without complaint. I looked up from the fields to see my wife. She was beaming and playing with our new babies, twin boys of all things. They were swaddled in their new clothes and set beside her in front of our home, swinging their arms and grabbing at her fingers.
She looked up at me from our children and threw me her winning smile. It was the smile that told me no matter what happens, everything would be okay, at least for that moment.
Suddenly though, her smile fell away. I heard the padding of leather-clad feet behind me. There was suddenly a bright light and pain coursed through my head. I fell to the ground, stunned and helpless. I watched, unable to move as they bound my wife. She was yelling for help and my boys were crying.
" No, no" I heard her say," please you don't have to do this!" "O, on the contrary," one of the men said" we do." With a nod, he signaled the man to his right. My wife looked at me, wild eyed with fear. I was the last thing she saw. Suddenly the light was gone from her eyes and she fell to the ground.
"Do it." Their leader said. Two more stepped forward, swords drawn. I couldn't look. I pressed my face into the ground as I heard the wet, sound of swords passing through flesh. The boys were silent forever.
"Why," I screamed," why are you doing this to me?!" Their leader knelt down beside me, dressed in a black leather suit with red patches on the shoulders. I would never forget that armor. "Listen farmer," he said, " this was for your own good, the good of everyone." "No," " said, " It can't-" "Now go to sleep!" He yelled, and knocked me out.
I awoke later in the day to find three fresh graves beside my fields. I fell to my knees, tears flowing from my eyes. I sat beside them that night, not sleeping, not eating. Only sitting and staring at the disturbed earth.
When the sun broke over the tree line I heard the snap of twigs. There was a woman walking towards me. The closer she came though, a wrongness seemed to creep. "Hello." she said. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" I asked. "Oh," she replied " no one important." As she spoke though, her eyes turned red, her once-simple clothing became black, and her skin twisted with runes.
As I stared in horror, she walked closer and said "I've come to offer you a deal." "What do you mean?" I said. "Oh, I think you know exactly what I mean. You've just seen your entire family slaughtered like livestock, surely there must be some stirrings of hated, of vengence in your heart."
I looked to the ground, she was right. I ached for vengeance against the men who had ruined my life. "Yes, I do." I said as I looked back up. Suddenly the demoness was no less than a foot away from me and I fell back, startled. "What do I have to do to get my revenge?" I asked. "It's quite simple," she answered, laughingly," serve me in The Nether for a one hundred years. Your visage will be warped and twisted. Your very presence will make lesser being shudder. The humans you have known all your life will be dead when you return, and none of them will ever trust you because of it. Every single thing you love will be gone."
"Everything I love has already been taken from me." I replied. " I don't care what happens to me, I want justice against the men who did this." " Fine then," she replied as she help out her hand," is it a deal?" I looked at her hand, considering my fate one last time. "Yes." I said, and help mine up in return.
Suddenly the demoness grabbed my arm, surprisingly strong for one built so slightly. "Open your hand." she told me, and I did as she asked. She drew and blade from her side and slashed a wound across both our palms, then pressed them together.
"What are you-" "Shut up!" she yelled, "Now feel the power of The Nether course through your veins." I was stunned for a moment, not knowing what to do. Then I felt it, a sensation in my hand. It started out as a gentle warmth in my fingertips, then spread up to my shoulder, eventually consuming my entire body like a burning inferno.
"Agh!" I yelled out in pain. "Silence human! The process is almost complete." she yell at me through the haze of pain. I could feel the fire from her blood setting my own alight. I fell to the ground, she had finally released her grasp on me. "It is done." she said, " Here, gaze upon your new face Drake." She pointed me to the tranquil pond near my home. I stumbled over, shaking with the exertion. As I looked into the water, I beheld my new face.
I saw ashen skin, glowing red eyes, and where was once blond hair , now fell ebon locks. Gone was the simple peasant garb i once wore, replaced by a tattered red and gray cloak over black leather armor. The same armor the killers had worn.
"What is this?" I asked her, "Why do I share the same garb as those who slew my family?!" "Those are the relics of your past Drake." she said, " When you become a demon, you take on the image of that which you believe most evil." "So I now share this with them, for all eternity." I said.
"Yes," she replied," now onto business." "You now have the power of The Nether at your fingertips, how you use it is left for you to decide. She help out the blade she had cut us with, and a bow.
"I've never been one for fighting up close." I said as I took the bow. In that moment, a quiver appeared on my back, full of black-shafted arrows. "Those are imbued with The Nether as much as we are, "the demoness said, " so be careful how you use them."
"Now," she said," let me take you to your victims." There was a loud rushing noise in my ears, like the wind howling on a dark night. I found myself deep in a forest, the demoness nowhere to be seen. "Hello?" I tentatively asked anyone and no one. There was no answer.
I found an animal trail leading through the forest and followed it west. Eventually a light started to come into the trees, and I could heard a fire. Then laughter. I slowed my pace and crept nearer to the source of the sound.
I came upon a clearing, very brightly lit for so deep in the woods. I stopped, startled, these were the bandits who had killed my family. "Just as she said..." I whispered to myself. They were all sitting around a campfire, laughing as their leader told a story. There were five of them in all and a few tents off to the side. Their swords and armaments tossed away for the night.
"...so it turns out," their leader said" the sweet, virgin woman my was on the verge of marrying was a man!" At that they all dissolved into uproarious laughter. I took out my bow and knocked an arrow.
I took a deep breath and released. Then rapidly fired four more shots, the demon blood enhancing my speed and accuracy. I left them no time to respond, and they were each pinned through an arm or a leg.
I walked into their camp, stowing my bow as I went. "You didn't have to do it." I said, filled with righteous anger. "You didn't have to kill them!" "What are you talking about? Wh-Who are you?" their leader asked, frightened and bleeding. They were all pale with fear behind their alcohol-flushed cheeks. "Yesterday," I said, " you killed my wife and children!" I swung my arm and elbowed him in the jaw. "Ohh," he laughed, spitting blood, " you’re the farmer. What turned you so gray hahaha!"
"Silence!" I yelled and struck him across the jaw again. " Now, I have a few questions for you. And if I don't like your answers" I pulled and arrow from my quiver," this is going through your eye socket."
The man paled again and stopped laughing. "Okay," he said," what do you want to know?" "Fore one," I said," what's your name?" "My name is Robert Loxley." he said. "Good," I replied," that wasn't so hard, was it?" I started walking around him, making him follow my movements. "Now, what clan do you hail from?" "The Wolves." He replied.
I continued pacing. "I have one last question for you, why was it best for everyone to kill them...?" I whispered. " "Oh, " he said, smiling" because now your just like us, WILD!" "No!" I yelled," I will never be like you!"
"Yes," he said, "you will. You'll lose all your rules and end up howling with the wolves!" He let out a long, high howl. "Fine," I said," if you’re going to act like a wolf, maybe you should just be one!"
I beckoned to the arrows, and they slowly dissolved into a gray mist. Then, with a clench of my fist, they lunged forward and engulfed the men. Their bodies twisted and fell to the ground, letting out savage howls of pain. The mist cleared, and in the place of the men, five wolves laid.
A twig cracked and a spun around, there stood a woman and a young boy. "How much did you see?" I demanded. The woman started to cry, but they were not tears of sadness, but of rage. " Who are you!" she demanded." I was once called Drake." I replied.
She ran forward and grabbed my armor, "I don't care what you are, but remember this Drake. No matter where you go, or what you do, the wolves will always be there. We will always be watching, and one day, we will have revenge!"
"Silence!" I yelled, and pushed her away, " I don't care for your idle threats and enough blood has been spilled these two days. Leave before it need be more." So the mother and child walked away, with five wolves following in their tracks.
"Very nice," the voice of the demoness said," I didn't think you had it in you." "They took my family from me, so i took them from theirs." I said. " Justice has been served."
"Now then, "she said," you'll hold up your end of the deal." With that, she summoned a portal to The Nether. She barely moved her hand to even do it. "Shall we?" she asked. "Yes, " I said, " let it be done." So I walked willingly to my century of servitude.
What happened there I won't recount now, this is neither the place nor the time for such things. Now let us return home, it’s been a long day.
Thanks! As i said, I should have part two done in a day or so. Actually I don't knwo whether to call it part two or one because that was a prologue. In any case I hope more people will respon, that will give me more motivation to finish.
Also, I will be haveing some concept art put on here. I doubt I will have it show any scenes but at least a drawing of my character. Once I get it up I would love for feedback on it, like I do wiht the story.
Arguments happen, they just do, you can't stop it, no matter how much power you have, even if it takes years to settle, when it does, everyone is stronger for it. Rivalries can be made into friendships if you let them.

Also I fail and can't think of a good list of names so any normal sounding names you all can think of i'll probly use. Post them here if you please.
You, my friend, just earned yourself a fan.
By the way, tell your friends!
Thanks everyone.
