It's the later part of a semester and a decent amount of Precipicers are college students.
This is a major slowdown period.
If I see him on a game I'll remind he needs to post and there are people relying on him to do that than play Mount and Blade.
My DeviantArt, so sexy
The economy is already there, your business is to decide how you want the government to interact with it. It will also be important to procure trade deals.
Cheers!
If you see two men walk out of a bar then you're on the wrong island.

You want to set up a system to start printing your own currency, but you want to do so responsibly. I would suggest bringing in foreign advisers first and for most, though it's important to be political about who you would bring in as advisers. Polish advisers will focus your economy toward Poland, Persian advisers will focus your economy toward Persia, etc.
You might want to build the value of your currency off of the value of another currency. This might be difficult because you don't really have any ideal options, but you don't want to use the Ottomans as a base because their ship seems to be sinking at this point. That or you could try to establish some sort of standard, but that might be difficult considering that you're not starting with access to a lot of precious metals.
You also want to avoid giving your government too much direct control in the currency. You don't want to make the Jeff Davis mistake and start paying for your debts by printing more money.
You'll also want to consider how trade is going to work out. Very early on, you're going to have the matter of access to the Dardanelles to contend with. Your ports are blocked from the open sea by a strip of Turkish territorial waters. Luckily Poland has access the Black sea as well as the Baltic, so they should be able to move goods for you if need be, but that will be an expensive ordeal.
*Surprised he sounds manlier than I do*
*Self-esteem plummets*
