This is a dark age equivalent. There are usually a lot of small groups in a large area. Really, I was looking for making a maritime nation, so it will be a lot of general sailor culture type ****. The main inspirations are probably going to be Scandinavian, English, and Celtic societies. I would imagine there will be a lot of Skyrim and ASOIAF in it too since those are recent related media I have been into as of late.

Well, I understand you're too much of a hipster to share a bit of your history, but what I was getting at is that since our civilizations are inspired by similar peoples, it'd make sense for them to have some common origin. I'm not asking to be butt-buddies, but it makes sense for two similar peoples in the same vicinity to have something in common, like their origin, the same way the Germans and the Scandinavians are somewhat related (and even the English).

I'm joking about the hipster thing, by the way.

Well, I was saying we could do so whenever. Just something we can agree to and make reference of in IC. I have some of my application written, and I constantly mention that my guys left the "Old Kingdom" after it collapsed during the plague. I may take that out, but I thought it'd be cool if we could draw some kind of connection between the "Old Kingdom" my guys mention and the "Great Empire" yours claim to have descended from.

We might want to stave too much talking about pre-plague stuff. Gorg has that closed off, and it's possible he knows what happened before the end times. We don't want to step on that.

My people are into myths, hence the great empire thing.

Eh, it's cool. I had already written that my guys came from the north, so the ruins where they are now wouldn't have been from their kingdom anyway.

We can draw some kind of connection later, I guess. Now I should get back to writing the application, which I'll have to put extra effort into because you've all turned the first page into a holyshitlongapplication museum that I feel obligated to uphold.

Mines the shortest, but then again I suck at applications.

Veo, could we perhaps discuss the topic of drugs at the conference? There have been international treaties for the criminalization of certain drugs in real life, so it could be interesting.

Dawn of Civilization apps go in the Dawn of Civilization thread. It already gets confusing as it is now to accept apps for PoW and SO here too.
