(I'm mostly basing Jason's height off myself. I'm a year young for a freshman and I'm doing a low estimation on my height as a sophomore.)
Jason Parker - Sophomore - 2nd period Anatomy and Physiology
Jason noticed a bit of whispering but paid no attention. He reached down but realized he had forgotten his red pencil at home in his rush. Though he enjoyed adding blood to the scenes, this was good enough. He did a bit of detail work on the sides and was pleased. For a rough sketch this wasn't too shabby. Trotter was erasing an short story worth of information from the board. He chuckled as he remembered the time he had taken a sharpie and written TL:DR on the eraser before class. Trotter never realized the meaning, and for the entire half-semester the eraser boldly proclaimed what everybody was thinking. Then the eraser was switched out, and Jason hadn't had time to rewrite the little message.
He spun the sketch around and pulled out another piece of paper. He would spend the remainder of the class doodling most likely. He quickly realized he had nothing to doodle so he looked up and waited for someone to inadvertently give inspiration.
Zeke's mind began to drift again, his thoughts becoming cloudy Mr. Trotter's lecture. Zeke idly tapped his pencil against the desk, when he overheard Yetto talking to Sam about music. Listening in a little bit, Zeke's eyes lit up when he overheard that Sam was writing music. Stretching his head forward so that Sam could see, Zeke whispered a question. "Speaking about music, do you know how to play an instrument. Yetto and I are thinking about a band, but we need more members."

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it! <3
Selene, after one-sidedly talking to Shy, had sat down at her seat. She stared at the board, looking focused. She was focused, but on her thoughts. Pursing her lips, she ran her fingers through her hair. She hadn't straightened it today, so it was more of a curly mess. She looked longingly at the clock, and sighed.
(( Sorry it's such a shitty drawing. Ignore my childish scrawls at the side. xD
((You guys need to slow down. T-T Or I need to at least keep up. I was really hoping my char would come to school today. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure why exactly I made it the next day. :\ ))

I would tell you about how awesome I am down here, but I have a feeling you probably already know that. <- Please. ._.
Cale Tren - Sophomore - Male - 2nd period Anatomy and Physiology
As class started Cale became increasingly bored. He did not want to do work in this class and nor did he care for it. He looked back at Shy, she was now signing with Sam. Again, that same weird fuzzy feeling was coming back when he looked at her. Cale gave in to the fact that he had a crush on her, but he knew he wouldn't have a chance with her. She had already attracted several guys and he could not easily communicate with her.
Cale decided to take his mind off Shy and over heard Yetto talk about him starting a band. "That's pretty cool," Cale whispered to Yetto, not wanting the teacher to hear him, "I used to play the drums about a year or 2 ago, but then I started football and I never had time to practice."
((Silly Azilla, you can't expect us to barely type 2 pages in about 3 days, its not natural. :wink.gif: Try to keep up, lol.))

Shy Anne-Sophomore-A&P
Shy watched Selene head back to her seat and turned back to Zeke, giving him a quick thumbs-up before looking down to her binder, sliding out a clean sheet of paper and clicking her pencil to start notes. The teacher was a slightly homely looking man, but the material seemed fine. Shy felt like a little bit of a goody-two-shoes as she turned around in her seat to get a full look at the board and copy down good notes, even if the structure of a synovial joint was boring.
When Sam got her attention and passed her the note, she took a quick scan of it, and gave him a slight nod, before inconspicuously sliding it next to her notes and writing down a quick summary in response.
Yes, here:
The 4 types of S-joints are 1. Arthrodial/"plane", 2. Ginglymus/"hinge", 3. Trochoid/"pivot", & 4. Spheroid/"ball&socket".
Rmber that Gomphosis is "the articulation of teeth in their sockets" & Joint Capsule is "a saclike structure that envelopes the joint" (it contains all the join elements & synovial fluid). Good?
She folded the paper up and slid it back at him, eyes still on Mr. Trotter in case he saw. But luckily he didn't, his attention was caught by a late student coming into the room and sitting down. Shy's eyes started to wander to the clock above the board, and she noticed it was almost time to go. She was surprised. It didn't seem like it went all that fast.
When she heard the guys talking about starting a band, Shy smiled a little to herself and kept that in mind. She was not musically inclined, in any way, but she liked to listen to it as much as the next girl.
Jason examined the table. He overheard a few whispering about music. Not his taste. Trotter was too absorbed in his lecture about... whatever to notice the amount of motion coming from this table. He grabbed another piece of paper and looked at the new girl. He figured he may as well sketch her if nothing else was going to present itself. He first wanted to know whether she was deaf or mute. That would give him at least something to add to it. Drawing someone you know absolutely nothing isn't any fun, eh? He took a piece of notebook paper he scribbled down a note greeting her and asking the question in the most legible handwriting he could muster, which was not saying much. You could say he was ambidextrous in his writing. He wrote just as poorly with them both.
He folded it in half and slowly slid it over to her.

Shy Anne-Sophomore-A&P
Shy was finishing up a side-note about the position of the joint capsule in a human elbow when she noticed the late student passing a note to her. She reached a little over the distance between them and snagged it, pulling it back to her and taking a quick peek, keeping an eye on Mr. Trotter from her peripheral vision. Shy bit her lip as she tried to decipher the message, only being able to identify some words out of the question. She didn't want to be mean about it, and so she didn't bring it up. She repeated what she'd been saying for most of the day so far.
Hi, I'm Shy Anne, like Cheyenne, but not. I'm new here, and I'm mute, but I hear just fine. Please talk to me like you would anyone else. What's your name?
(( Oh thank you. I know it's baaad, but it's not even really finished. Azilla, we are now friends and stuff. ))
Selene pulled her phone from her bag and hid it under the table.
Soo bored. Where u at, Ae? Is u still sickie today? :C
She texted Aera, not paying any attention to the board. She put her phone in her pocket and looked at the clock. The bell soon rang, and she quickly shoved her netbook in her bag and stood up.
Selene groaned and sat down again. Typical of Mr. Trotter.
(( Sorry if I cut classes short. We are on page eleven and it is the morning of Tuesday, and we started Monday afternoon. >.> ))
Jason noticed the note slipped to him and inconspicuously read it. He nodded and wrote below again.
Hello, Shy, pleased to meet you. My name is Jason Parker. I'm kinda surprised you could read my message. I guess the reason I asked you the question was to get a little information about you. I tend to sketch random people but have this itch to at least know something about them first.
Where are you from? Don't worry, though he is a bit of a bore, Trotter practically never looks this way.
As he passed it the bell rang. He stayed in his seat, Trotter was just getting started.
Shy snatched the note and started to stand up before noticing Mr. Trotter's scowl. Oh, sorry, she thought, what a grumpy face.
She started to pack her things, saving the note for last, as Mr. Trotter finished up. When she finally did look over it, she bit the inside of her cheek like before. She still could only catch a few words out of the mix.
I'm sorry, she wrote down, feeling a little bad and hoping she didn't sound mean (but she figured it would be nicer than ignoring him altogether), I can't read some parts of this. What class do you have next?
As she was about to toss it at him, she thought better of it, and added, Do you know American Sign-Language?
Jason looked at it and decided for the time being passing notes was hopeless. For someone artistically inclined he had darn awful penmanship. He just decided to talk to her after class. He leaned back in his chair and noted they probably had another minute or two. He sat down and wrote out,
I was able. But through the years I can only decipher others with my limited knowledge and finger spell. Next is history.
Cale started to pack up his stuff and put it into his bag and saw that Mr. Trotter was still in the middle of the lesson. Cale stopped packing and pretended to do some work. He guessed that Yetto may have been too engrossed in the lesson and decided that Yetto might not care about his drumming. Besides he didn't really have time for the drums with football and all.
Cale looked back over to Shy curious if their same class streak would be continuing. He asked her in a whisper.
After tossing the idea of sneaking out, after seeing Trotter catch several other kids in the act, Chase began to gently hum, and drum his fingers on the desk. Occasionally a word or line from the song would slip out as the young man waited. "Pick me up, hose me down I'm sorry boys about the dirty night clowns...Hmm hm hmmm" He murmurred, waiting for the teacher to excuse him. Out of more boredom then curiosity, he glanced at the table nearby. From what he could tell, Jason and the new girl had hit it off, while the others talked about...Something. Unable to pick up what was being said, he shrugged, and went back to humming the chorus.

((God. I was thinking, 'Sweet, it only went one page over', but this page is nearly full. Good god. What about a real quick summary of the school day, then lunch, then another quick summary, then we're free? That would certainly speed things up.))
As Shy slid him a note which left him even more confused than he had been before asking, he heard a whisper emanating from the other side of the table. He listened to Yetto's question, surprised - after all, he knew that Sam did music, why wouldn't he compose? Well, I guess he could have thought I was a performer. He was about to reply, when Zeke quickly joined the conversation, followed by Cale. Figuring he may as well address one question at a time, he turned to Yetto first.
"First things first, yeah, I can compose for guitar. I've written up a couple of pieces, but they've never really got any further than drafts, y'know? I much prefer composing for piano. Which," he said, turning to Zeke, "is my main instrument. I can play a lot of others as well, seeing as basically all I do is play and write, but piano's my best. Why, what do you play?" At this point the bell had already rung, and he rose to his feet, as many of his classmates were also doing.
"Hey, Shy," he said, smiling, "How do you know so much about all this stuff? You seem to be the only one in the class who actually knows what's going on here - consider me impressed."

Breeding dragons is stressful. So I thought I'd just showcase my friend Jim here. Say hi to everyone, Jim.
Shy slid the last note back to her, looking for the familiar curve of a 'y' or the simple shape of an 'o', for 'yes' or 'no'. When she didn't find one, she just tried her best and spotted the word 'history' near 'Next' at the bottom. She smiled up at Jason and tried anyway, signing, Mine 2, hoping that was clear enough. Talk later?
When Cale caught her attention and asked her what she had next, she turned back to him, signing out World History after she pocketed the last note from Jason. U?
Shy folded up her binder and heard Sam addressing her, so she finished packing her things while listening to him. When he was done, she waved her hand dismissively, but smiled a little brighter. My old school, she signed, I hold words like a box, since I can't speak them.
"Ummm remember? I don't know sign language, Shy. Do you think you could teach me how sometime?" Cale asked her. Cale kind of wanted to know how to sign and it would be easier to talk to her that way. However, it would be sort of weird for him to learn from the girl he had a crush on, but then again he didn't know anyone else, and they could get to know each other as well. Cale waited for a response as the teacher kept going on with the lesson, holding us late after class.
[Ugh XD I'm sorry Mauler, I was rushing and totally spaced. Meh.]
Shy turned back to Cale as she stood up, embarassed and blushing a little. She yanked out her notepad and wrote down, I'm so sorry, Cale. It was just reflex, really. I didn't mean to insult you or be mean. I would be willing to teach you, yes. And I have World History next, what do you have?
As she held the notepad out to him, she looked at her feet and curled her toes. She felt bad that she'd just made friends and then turned around and did that to one of them. Might not want to mention that part to Callie.
Cale hoped she didn't feel bad, it was her first day and it wouldn't be too good if it was a bad one. "It's okay," Cale whispered to Shy, "You are obviously used to talking to people in sign, that's why I want to learn. Also, that's weird. I have World History, too. Weird how we have the same classes huh?"
As he finished talking to Shy, Cale saw that the teacher was finished with his lecture and dismissed them. Cale packed up his stuff and said, "Oh, sorry, Shy, I have to go. I'll see you in World History." Cale got up from his desk, picked up his bags and started to walk away. He was looking at Shy, and saw how pretty she was, wondering, I wonder what her voice would sound like, however he wasn't paying attention to where he was going and accidentally ran into one of the desks.
Cale quickly got his balance back after that stumble and got out of the class room. He went to his locker to get his World History supplies.
