Name: Julius Age: 21 Race: Human Gender: Male Appearance: A tall generally skinny man with decent strength. He has black hair,a beard that has not been shaven, green eyes ((as in the iris)), and bigger then average feet. Personality: All about the money <- greedy
fear of heights
fights for life <- will generally not give up unless in very bad odds Biography: As a boy he lead a normal life in a village along the Niner river with two parents in a decent house. But all that changed when....actually I won't do the cliche tragic event so I will do something else. Yet when his very best friend offered him a chance to join a bandit group when he was 13 how could he refuse? He had nothing else to do besides to tasks such as taking care of the crops and animals so he accepted. They traveled to a bandit camp which took a day's travel to get there and to avoid being killed his friend whistled five times as an indicator that they were new recruits. As the years went on he eventually got to the age of 16 the guard raided the camp. Sure Julius got out but his friend.....was not so lucky. He had no chance he had to run before they came after him. So he did escape without a bounty being put on his head and a week later he got to the town of Daret. Yet the problem was that he was broke so he had to take every job he could get whether it be cleaning windows and boats to less legal things. Eventually he did get enough money to buy basic equitment and become a mercenary ((the years at the bandit camp did help)) and has been doing it since he was 18. He only got enough to survive and now we have caught up on Julius' life. Career: Mercenary Location: Daret Suggestions: more moderators and have a link to the wiki for my only experience with it is the game XD Other: Not much else to say

((Thank ya!))
After a long flight on Terra, Jeremy's green-scaled dragon, he finally landed... in the middle of a town, one by the name of Aroughs. "Well, Terra, this will be our last town, I just hope we can find someone here... I don't want to see these two as eggs for too much longer." The man, who was about 6'5" tall, and was wearing beaten-up clothes says to his dragon... he gets a response, but nobody else heard it... He then grabs the eggs... one of them a bright, shining blue... one that reminded Terra of her mother... He clears his throat, and shouts "Hear all, Hear all! Dragon eggs! If one decides to hatch for you, you can keep it, free of charge!" He then holds up the egg, as well as its brother egg to show the group what he had meant by that. A crowd quickly forms around the man, as he starts to pass the two eggs around.
"Sir!"
Selkrentys turned, his thoughts inturrupted by the boy. He was about eleven years old, with short, blonde hair, a tall build, and was panting heaily as if he had been running for a while.
"Yes?" he responded.
"Have you heard the news?" the boy questioned.
"What news? Is it important?" the rider inquisitioned.
The boy waited a moment to catch his breath before responding.
"Well, spit it out. I haven't got all day." persisted Selkrentys.
"Dragon Eggs! They are bringing them to the town square, and handing them around!"
Certaintly that was not the answer the rider expected, as he jumped slightly and became more interested.
"Really? The town square?" He did not give the boy time to respond as he quickly strided northwards. The boy then ran to another passerby and continued to relay the news.
Selkrentys weaved his way through the crowd of what he recognized as merchants, farmers, and even mercenaries as they all struggled to get to the egg. The rider handing them around was attempting to organize the crowd, but everyone wanted to be first to touch an egg. With a reasonable amount of pushing and shoving, and a few bruises along the way, he made it to the front of the crowd. Seeing a bright blue one nearby, he strided over towards it. After a rather chubby banker who was carrying it gave it up, Selkrentys reached over and picked up the egg. It felt smooth, but with odd ridges in interesting patterns. He was studying it carefully when a nearby farmer told him, "C'mon, hand over the egg. We need our turns too, ya know."

Yes... this one... he seems to fit me perfectly! I think as I start to hatch, the eggshell getting somewhat weaker in the presence of a chosen rider... I finally start my struggle to break free from this shell, and to finally be able to grow, and maybe even fly!
"HEY! I wanted the egg!" Someone shouts to the current egg-holder, the man, a mercenary in his late twenties runs up to the man, and asks "You will give the egg up, correct?" he points his sword at the man who had the bright blue egg, and says "I will not ask one more time... give me the egg!" He then swings at the man with his sword!
Swish...
The only sound that I can hear, as the man swings his sword in my direction. I only have a second to react; my training kicking in, I dropped to my hands and knees, carefully depositing the egg near my feet in a place where people won't be likely to trample it. The man's sword sailed over my head by just an inch, I almost felt it at my hair. I could tell that he was unbalanced, before he regained his posture I quickly shouted three spells in quick succession- "Varda Skulblaka, geuloth sverd, kveykva freohr!"
At once, two things occur: The man's sword becomes useless with his next strike; its blade now no more sharp than as if it had been left to rust for years, and a spurt of purple, almost liquid lightning stretches from my hand, encompassing the mercenary. He is thrown backwards, spastically jerking from side to side. He attempts to pull out his dagger before the shock causes his head to involuntarily jolt downwards, striking himself on the cobblestones. He lies still.
The crowd is dumbfounded, they are not sure what to think. By the time the other rider had got here, I had managed to calm down most of the nearby people. Then, I carefully reached to the egg, inspecting it for any sign of damage. Finding none, I sigh in relief.

I start to crack through my little 'home' that I have been in for all too long... though I was eagar to leave, I was very safe in there, and was, as a mostly-developed dragon embryo able to gain some knowledge from the people... or, whomever was near my egg at the time. I continue my struggle, hoping to break free from this place, and see who it was who I had found acceptable... who could it have been?
Crack.
"What?" I say, almost out loud. I see a little head protruding from a small opening in the egg. I freeze for a second, then I realize what has occurred. "Me...?" I begin. Then, the crowd begins to dash towards me, hoping that the dragon may have actually chose them instead. I protectively cover the egg and little snout with my cloak. I evade the grasping hands reaching towards me. Then, dashing towards the inn, I begin to contemplate what has happened.
I finally make my escape, and find myself in one of those caves humans call a 'home'... I start to try to speak, but, not having the right mouth for such an act hindered it. I look up at the man before me, and walk towards him... it had to be him, though, I didn't know his name, I knew a bit about WHO he was... once I get close enough, I place my snout on his hand... I then try to think about how to ask for the man's name...
The town of Daret was going fine and everything was business as usual. Then Julius got a contract with a rich man which was usual for all sorts of rich men and women needed escort from one town to another but this one was strange. For the rich man's courier went up to Julius who was wearing his equipment and asked "are you a mercenary?" and he replied with "yes are you requiring my services?" then the courier stated "No but my employer does" and hands Julius a letter that was most likely a contract. Julius took the contract and the courier went to find more mercenaries for the contract. Julius opened the letter and it read the following ((except in medieval writing))
Dear Mercenary
I require your services for a contract that will need many mercenaries of your experience. You will arrive at the entrance docks if you choose to accept this mission for it will take place all over the world for the hunt of something that will be stated if you choose to accept the contract. The pay will be dependent on how long it takes and your usefulness in this contract. Food and supplies will be provided for the duration of the contract.
Julius read the writing and even though he would most likely not know what he will be looking for until he gets on the boat and sailing off but will still arrive at the docks for possibly a fortune.
((Could I possibly reserve a spot? Still need to think up an app...))
((McKay, you've got a spot reserved.))
As the dragon walks towards me, I am both exhilarated and terrified. Then, it places its snout on my hand. What feels like a torrent of ice rushes through me, pure rather than cold. I stumble back, then am amazed as the gedway ignasia (spelt that wrong) appears on my hand.

((Sorry for taking so long before I made my first post. School is killing me!))
"You felt that?" I ask Chrislam, curious. Yes. A new dragon has been born. To a human it seems. He responded. I nod. "How long time would it take for us to get there?" A few days if the winds are on our side. And it feels like they are. I look over the room in the treehouse I was living in. I sigh. "its been a while since the last time a new dragon was born. And the last flight as well. Do you feel like going?" I'll go with you if you woish. I would suppose its our duty. I nod and start to pack up some of the more important things. I don't think we got to stop midways for my sake. If we go through Hadarac, we should be able to reach the town, wherever that is, within a few days.
The wind was blowing through my long hair. It was suprising how short time it had taken before we had departed from Du Weldenvarden. I cuold allready see farthen Dur in a distance, all though it was extremly small. I looed ut on Chrislams massive wings. If he was still an hatchling like he was the first few trips, this one would take weeks. But with this speed, it wouldn't be hard to track down the person the egg hatched for. "Where do you think it was?" I ask Chrislam. I don't know. But I think it was somewhere far south. Maybe a little to the west, but im not so sure about that. However, I would suppose that the dragon would react by our pressence. I nod agreeing. It felt good to be in the skies again.
((If you guys think so, then no, I would say that I didn't powergame/godmod. I just did my post based on obvious information to anyone that have read the books and the previous posts.))
