River slowly steps forward, standing with up straight, making sure her ears don't keep flicking. "So now what? anything i need to do? just let me know." She seems a bit hyper, but it is her first day here.
I grab a set of glasses from my bag, remembering what happened to my eye. "Hmm... that was a stupid thing to do back then..."
The headmaster holds out his hands and focuses. What appears to be a glowing crystal of different crystal appears in his hands. "Now be careful with this." He says as he hands the floating crystal to River. The crystal floating just above her hands. "This here is what I like to call a focus gem. Try focusing your magic into it. It will be hard, and be extremely careful. The slightest mistake would end up making it explode right in your hands. Don't worry the explosion won't be dangerous. As long as your magic is stable, which it should be after the exercises you should be fine." He says as he waits for River to start focusing.
"Just stay there and focus. " He says as he walks a few feet away. He holds his hand out at her, a small glowing orb of magic forms in his hand. "Now if your magic has successfully combined with mine this attack will be almost nothing. This technique is one of the more advanced defensive techniques. It involves taking some of your opponents magical energy, and creating a sort of manifestation of it and combining it's magic with your own. This will allow you to cancel a single magical based attack from your opponent as long as they attack you with the same element." He says as he fires the blast at River.
She tries to form anything, a wall, a tree, anything form she can think of, trying to make a copy of it out of light, but ends up failing. "Ahh! stop the attack." I hear her, end up running between her and the blast, my speeds almost blinding, i end up taking a pretty good hit by running straight into the blast. "Ahh... well... that hurt..."
"Oh don't be so down on yourself. That blast was a relatively low level blast. It would have broken through a normal light barrier, but not the technique I was trying to teach you. Also it is one of the more advanced techniques so it will be hard to get the hang of. Now class find a partner and start practicing this technique I just showed you. This is the first lesson for the day!" He says as he walks up to Waskom. "Are you okay there? Would you like me to call the nurse. Her medicine will heal you right up!" He says with a slight smirk.
((WORD OF ADVICE: Try not to go to the nurse's office. She has... odd ways of administering medicine.))
Tengu jumped out of his window, soaring towards the main building.
As he entered, the receptionist greeted him. "good morning, what can I do for you?"
"I need to sign up for wind classes. I just arrived yesterday, and I didn't have the chance to do it then."
The receptionist asks for his name. "It's Tengu." He replies. " I'm going to need your full name in order to sign you in." "I don't know what my full name is. I've just been called Tengu since I was three!" Tengu says.
"What room are you assigned?" she asks. He tell her his room number. "Wind dorm 2, room 5."
As he fills out a form for signing in to classes, but feels like someone is watching him. He dismisses the odd feeling.
Elva had arrived at the field and sat on the grass as she watched the headmaster teach. She felt a little left out since he was teaching the basics of light magic, but she didn't want to interrupt him to find out about summoning magic. She just assumed that after he was done with the light lessons he would continue with summoning.
When he said that the class should split up, that was when she spoke up. "Excuse me, sir? When will you cover summoning magic?"

"Since the light students are doing their separate thing now I could start with the summoning." He says as he looks towards the class that is sitting down. "Okay class let's begin. Well actually I have a special guest for you today." He says as he takes out a special looking whistle. He sticks one end of the whistle and heavily blows in it. The sound of the whistle can be heard throughout the entire University. When he stops he looks at his class. "Okay he should be here any minute now..." He says as he looks at his watch.

(Ugh... That time when you need to go to sleep.)
Dylian, after seeing the class over, nods in understanding. This might actually be rather useful. Thought this waste case it would've only with the same element. He think a bit, taking each step shown today into consideration. At least he could knew his barriers would be slightly stronger, but then remember that day before, with the car accident. Will he ever make a barrier as strong as that one before... He sighed, and gets up practicing a bit, listening to everything that was happening, calmly. He was not sure what to go do right now. When the summoning class started, he decided to go take a seat on a bench, and just watch. Might as well see what they were doing. He hears the whistle, and was confused. What was coming?
Elva watched as the headmaster pulled out a whistle and blew on it. She looked around, confused and a little worried. What was coming? Was it big? She stood up and put a hand to her satchel, just in case.

A small white blur quickly rushes by Grant, and Jamie. "Did you happen to see that Jamie?" He asks curious of what it was. Then the white blur rushes through the main office by Drake who finally signed up for classes. "Finally! I thought I would never get signed up!" He says as he gets tripped by a small white creature. "Hey!" He yells as he looks up from his current position. Eventually the white blur makes it to the field, and crawls up to the Headmaster's shoulder. "Hey Daichi how's it going!" Said the little white creature as the headmaster looks at the little fur ball. "Ah good to see you Chamo. You're a minute late. I would like too introduce you to the new summoning class. Class this is Chamo. A good friend of mine, and my familiar. He is going to be taking care of the summoning classes for today, while I take care of important business. So listen to him as though you would listen to me." He says as he picks Chamo off his shoulder and places him on the ground. The headmaster walks off, and as he does Chamo waves goodbye, and turns to the class. "Okay class you better listen up cause I'm only gonna say this once! This is going to be a tricky lesson. It involves summoning a creature without anything, but your mind and a few words! Now are you ready class?" He says as the little guy starts to chuckle.
((Meet Chamo. He is a character from the old Trinity Soul University, and is heavily based on the character Chamo (in name, and character) from the anime Negima. This character was originally used by NeoWolf in the original RP.))
((Chamo.))
He is the size of your standard weasel. He is a ermine (an actual creature that is related to weasels.)
Elva raised an eyebrow at the little creature. "But...the way my magic works is different..." She looked down at her satchel, wondering if it was possible to summon Solembum without touching his drawing. Sighing, she nodded. "I'm ready I suppose."

As Chamo notices that the class is ready. "Oh don't worry this works with most any type of summoning magic!" He says as he looks at Elva. "Okay first I would like you all to close your eyes and imagine what you want to summon. Since it is perhaps your first time I would suggest you start out small." He says as he waits for the rest of the class to continue with the lesson.

Dylian listens to the lesson, smiling a bit. Seeing summonings should be interesting. He stand Just sits there, listening. Surely he could not do any summoning... But still summoning was something that he was mildly interested in. He just listens. The more he understand a certain magic, the more he can react depending on the situation. And that small creature. He smiles, seeing the familliar. Well that was a surprise.
(And I am guessing Dylian is with light magic only, and if he try's this he would fail right?)
Elva decided to start with the first creature she summoned when she was little. Concentrating hard, she closed her eyes and visualized a small field mouse. Her body glowed with a green aura, and just as she thought she had it, the glow faded and she was left a little tired. "This is impossible," she thought aloud. She tried again, but this time the green aura glowed a little brighter, and a small mouse appeared in front of her. Its eyes were gold and pupil-less, just like when she summons from her sketchbook. Elva felt a little dizzy and sat down.
"Is this supposed to make your head hurt?" she asked.
((Gotta go out for a minute. Be back in an hour or two))

((Yes normally it would fail, but as one who has a element of magic can also learn to use their element's sub-element when they reach a certain age. Some people have been gifted with the ability to learn more than one element outside of their base element, though through extensive training. Example is the Headmaster. He was gifted with the ability to learn each and every element, though prefers to use Light magic only. Also a example of one learning their sub-element when they reach a certain age would be a student that has Light magic as their element. When they reach a certain age (usually about 26 or so) would discover their secondary element, and it would be like second-nature to them. Light's sub-element's are Summoning, and Ultima (but since ultima magic is incredibly rare there is likely any chance that anyone could learn it.) As such when Dylian reaches a certain age (around his mid twenties) he will learn summoning. This also works vice versa (summoning, then light magic.) ))

Though I have seen many students be able to do that." He says as his jaw drops even further when he sees that every student in the summoning class was able to do the summon without going through step 2. Though the students are a little dazed. "Students these days... they are getting smarter and smarter with their magic." He says as he ignores Elva's question, and turns away. A little disappointed that he doesn't have to teach them step 2.

(So I am guessing no sub element in the rp for Dylian lol. Bummer.)
Dylian looked at Elva, and smiles at her success.
"Good going!" he says happy, seeing how she was able to summon in a different way then usual. He did try the same thing, just for the heck of it, but failed miserably. Seem he was stuck with light magic only...

((Don't fret. Other members of this RP can't use two elements. Though you can make a second character if you could handle it.))
