" You can do it! " He called out to her. " Just don't think! You have to act! " He was making all this stuff up, but hopefully she would belevie it. He looked at the Crusher Panels. " Oh no.. " He whispered. " The moment I need it most, it's gone.. " He closed his eyes, took one step, and immediately retracted it as a crusher panel nearly slammed into it.

((This RP needs a name, because nobody wants to join a RP without a name.))
I put the computer back, before walking through another door - this time, the room was full of branches, one growing over a skeleton with... "Now this... this is... well it should protect me." I grabbed the pistol. I jumped and sidestepped the branches, whacking some away with my wrench into the next part of the place - an elevator. "Urgh... the last time I went in one, it collapsed into the Lambda Complex - man I had a hard time getting out."

((Can we please have some Combine, Resistance, or survivors of the Aperture Science Incident? I'm finding mantis-men and one headcrab lacking in variety of enemies.))
Unexpectedly, the elevator still worked, albeit with a bit of rust and such. "Uh... I did not expect that." I screwed in several loose bolts before pressing the buttons to it... then suddenly the elevator stopped in between 2 floors after traveling up 4 floors. "Ah, heck." I struggled a bit before managing to get into the floor above - I saw HEV charger, along with a decommissioned medkit charger. "Hm..." I rerouted some wires in the HEV charger, although I was annoyed by the bird nearby. In the end, sparks were flying, but it charged my PCV - the first time in over 10 years - I was surprised it still worked. Strangely, the sparks ended up charging the metal plates covering my shoulders and legs... I didn't feel much. "Well... what else?" After looking around, I looked through the window of the observation room - there was an empty test chamber. But, it was VERY overgrown with plant life, ranging from grass, to trees, to man-eating plants, to the occasional mantis-man. "Urgh." I looked again, this time noticing a slightly cracked TV screen - those were security camera screens, according to the label.
((Have to go to another birthday dinner at a restaurant - now it's my grandma's birthday O_o))
((You can find a near-dead, but still loyal combine that will try to kill you.))
((Actually, they'd still be loyal, even if they had all their limbs removed (except for Metrocops, they would have roughly the same chance of fleeing as a regular human) - in HL2, Combine soldiers and elites (but not Metrocops) are brainwashed as they make them lose ALL memory.))
Before I could activate the security screen, I heard gunfire - the door's lock was shot open as 2 Combine Metrocops came in... "Oh, you Combidiots again." They had their pistols pointed at my head, so I had to lay down on the control panel. "DON'T MOVE. GIVE US YOUR SUPPLIES." I responded to their demands rather angrily. "Heh, all I have is a pipewrench, and a USB Match with several rounds. How long you've been down here?" I replied with satire. "2 MONTHS, APC ROLLED OFF-" He was quickly cut off by the other Metrocop. "DO NOT REVEAL THAT INFORMATION." I was dragged into the next room - an old APC had crashed through the roof a few months ago, followed by 2 lifeless bodies Combidiots on the ground... "NOW, TELL US HOW YOU GOT IN HE- OOH!" A wall panel hastily opened to my surprise - some guy with a HEV suit and a shotgun buckshotted the Metrocop to the wall, blood smeared on the wall as he slid down it. The other Metrocop shot at the guy in the HEV suit, only to be shot in the head. "Ey... John hasn't had visitors for a long time. John finally got to shot someone in several years." I could tell John was speaking in third-person. He didn't seem to notice me as he shut the panel - I went knocking on it, but all I got were echos. "Damn it." I cursed as I went through a disused office.
SICE screamed a battle cry and ran through the crusher part. Besides grazing some small gears here and there, he was overall pretty fine as he landed down on the ground. He looked up. He could hear some noises above him. Odd. He looked up and saw the button. And then he turned behind him and saw the cube dispension. He proceeded to hit himself in the personality core continually. " I.. am.. an.. idiot. " He said a through each hit. He closed his eye, and when he opened it, it was a blinding white.
He walked through the crusher panels with ease, sidestepping and leaping through the air with grace. He actived the cube dispension and grabbed the cube. He then continued on through the panels once again, only getting small scrapes and a few gears fallen off. He placed the cube on the button, and the door opened up. However, he tripped on the button as he headed to the door. When he opened his eye, it was a sickly shade of green. He had an American accent. His intelligence level.. mid way between 0 and 50. He had the personality of a slob.
I laugh at him as he tripped, and I fall down while laughing. I get up, and walk through the door, and look at test 27. It had crushers, acid, lasers, and energy pellets. This one looked pretty hard.
SICE let loose a huge burp. " Hoo hoo hoo! Now, that was a good one! " He said as he stumbled to the acid. He precariously stumbled around the edge before shooting a portal nearby some of the lasers. He then shot one by himself and head to the lasers. Being a Laser Cube, if he was careful, he could actually use himself to redirect them. He stepped in front of one and aimed it at one of those.. things.. that you point lasers at, and a stairway rose to the cube.
" Wooooo! " He screamed as he twirled, sending the laser round and round. It hit the spot every now and then, causing the stairs to come out, but then it would immediately retract. He got tired after a moment and just stood there, keeping the laser pointed at the special spot, burping and hiccuping, like the slob he was. " Hey! You gonna come on down here! " He called out to his test partner. " We don't have all day here-oh wait, we do! "
I walk down the stairs, and say "You have to rise the crushers..." as I look at the massive spikes. I then look at the rest, and it had a trust puzzle, where your partner could crush you at any time.
" Hee hee hee, a trust puzzle! Godda love dat.. urk.. " He said, shaking himself. He closed his core eye and when he opened it up again, it had a Wheatley blue color to it. He now had Wheatley's voice and his.. intelligence. GLaDOS was running out of ideas and was eventually forced to add Wheatley to the mix. " Don't worry, partner! I gotcha! " He called out to her. He pointed the laser at the spot. " Go on, now! I'm right behind you! " He called out to her in familiar, moronic voice.
" Alright, partner! Here you go! " He called out. He aimed the laser at the right spot and the crusher nearly lifted. He tried to turn to his partner to encourage her, but he redirected the laser somewhere else and the crusher came falling down. He immediately pointe it back at the right spot. It was inches away from crushing her. " Sorry! " He yelled at her. This personality wasn't exactly the best for partner tests. Then again, it was better than the rage personality..
" Er.. alright, then! " He said, turning another to his side. The crusher she was under came falling down as the crusher in front of her started to raise. " You got this! " He encouraged. He closed his eye. When he opened it once again, it was bright pink. He was now the fact core. Alright, GLaDOS was definitely running out of ideas. " Fact: 57% of robots do not survive partnership tests due to their partners being corrupt and heartless. " He said.

After making my way through another overgrown, but partially collapsed lab, I saw another 2 Combidiots... I'm gonna stop calling them that, I mean there's a fricken mantis-man tearing apart one of the unlucky Metrocops. "STEVE!" The other Metrocop opened fired with his pistol, before having it whacked away. He then tried to hit it with his baton, only to be stabbed in the back by another one. "More Fast Zombie-likes?" I took a shot at the mantis-man's head, causing it to collapse and fall through the hole of the lab. I grabbed a vat of mercury and spilled it all over the other charging mantis-man's head, before making that fall by kicking it into the hole.
I put the computer back, before walking through another door - this time, the room was full of branches, one growing over a skeleton with... "Now this... this is... well it should protect me."
