River takes the alien into the other room, and immidiately disarms him. The moment she does this, he starts to head for an alarm. She was too quick, however, and used Night Slash on the thing, forcing it back, but revealing that she isn't one of them. She then took the device, and threatened the creature with it... the thing surrendered, apaprently not immune to the laser, itself.
She leaves the room, disguised, and with a surrendering alien in tow. "Come on, we gotta get outta here!" River says to the group as she heads for the exit. The rest of the group was quick to follow her, and, after losing their disguises, was able to not get killed by the humans. They head right for Glacial Labratories, and River hands the gun, and the alien to Professor Glacial, who takes them, and says "Good, we should have this creature identified, and its weaknesses revealed in about a week." Waskom then runs up to him "A WEEK!?!? We don't have that kind of time, DOC!" He shouts. River pulls him back, and says "Waskom, no, he's on our side, remember?" Waskom calms down, and the duo head over to my house.
I am seen in my living room, pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do until the group comes back from their little adventure, and, sure enough, Waskom and River enter. "So... how'd it go?" I ask the two "It went well, we should know their weaknesses within a week." I reply "Good... but, ugh, can we even last that long?" Waskom shrugs, and says "We have to, it's our only hope." I then sit down... onyl to stand up, again, and say "You know what? I'm done just sitting on the sidelines, I'm going to fight, whether you want me to, or not!" I then head out the door, and start attacking any alien I see, my rage fueling my attacks, it actually doesn't take all too long for them to go down. I then notice Dylian flying off to the lab with a beetle trapped in his psychic grip... hm.
The war has been going on for quite some time... the ten thousand or so humans left after this are fighting well alongside their rarer pokémon counterparts. We have taken a huge toll from this, and worse, the aliens have found a way to get the ray to effect pokémon... but, today was the day, this was when we were going to find out those weaknesses, and the possible cure to this... transformation. The Milliali, as we've started to call them, are finally going to die here, their iron grip on the universe was coming to an end, and their days were numbered. I was sent to the lab, which was now the only one in existance, to retrieve this important info. Thankfully, he had it... two devices, similar to the alien's own, as well as a slew of TMs were in a package, waiting to be delivered... this wasn't going to be my job, but instead, Dylian's. My job was only to get the note, saying that the package will be there, shortly. I look at one of the TMs... for a new move, 'Reverse Transform' as Glacial called it. It seemed to appeal to me, as I took the disc, and used it on myself, instantly forgetting Fury Swipes for this. I then head out, and encounter a beetle. Normally, i'd be a little scared at this point, but... instead of simply attacking the thing, I used the new move, changing him back into a Nidoking... must have been one of the later ones to be transformed. He looks at himself, and says "Huh...? Wow, thanks!" He then looks at the rest of the world, and shivers... obviously the world as it is, now was pretty disturbing. I run over towards my commander, Seargent Frost... a.k.a Waskom. "Seargent Frost, sir, the weaknesses have been revealed, as well as the cure. I... kinda used one of the TMs that was for the cure, sir." He looks down at me, despite myself being level 34, now, I was still a Zorua. I was as strong as a Zoroark, but... just didn't look like one. Waskom then says to me "Good job, Private..." I then tilt my head in confusion, and ask "Something wrong, sir?" he adds "Nothing... just don't like thinking of you as my inferior, that's all." I smile, as I say "You remember River... right? I can change her back to the way she was... and still should be." He smiles at this, and leads me to the containment area. After giving Waskom a mock salute, I head inside, and use the move on her, making her a Zoroark, once more. "Huh...?" she says as she looks around. "You're safe, now, River... and, you're back to normal." She smiles at this, and we head out. Dylian was flying over towards the lab again... won't be too long before he returns.
After rejoining the troops on the front lines, I start firing off reverse transforms everywhere, making sure to hit every beetle I see. Most of them were human, some were pokémon, and others... were, well, to put it bluntly, mythical creatures. I was surprised at first, but then remembered that there were several planets out there... and these things wanted them all. Dylian returns with the package, as well as several others containing Tms and weapons for usage, and the remining soldiers start digging in, and using those weapons. The fight was one-sided on their side, before... but now.. it was our turn. These weapons were specifically made to destroy them effortlessly, and efficiently, same with the TMs, as such, the remining soldiers were nearly invincible now, and had a new armor that resisted those lasers. wasn't too long before I was in the ship, now sporting stronger moves, and resistance to lasers. I find the control panel for the ship, and, after a ton of fighting, hit the self-destruct button, and head out through their only escape pod, taking any and all once-beetles with me. The ship exploded, but what I didn't expect was the fact that it was the mother ship... as such, the others started falling out of the sky, reliant on thier mother ship to act as a navigator... weird.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the next day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I start rebuilding the houses that were lost, and start changing, and or killing the remainder of the aliens, Just a day's work, now... I guess. I think as I use a huge broom to sweep what was once a ceiling towards a pile of other parts that it was once connected to... it almost looked like a tornado hit the place, and hit it hard... funny thing, too, as, thanks to the mountains lining the area, no tornado would come within 10 miles of here. I look up at Miloon, who was now a Charizard, and happy because of that, and ask "Uh... where did we need these?" He shows me the blueprints, again, and I head off to the right, and start building the place... I think Nigel lived here, once... with... agh, can't remember her name. Either way, the sun was shining again, and people, pokémon, and mythical creatures finally started to get along... all and all... a good ending to this whole ordeal.
((Hm... was shooting for 'Great', but I guess having no real final boss kinda destroys that, huh?
not that I could do an entire boss battle in one post, and still have it be called as such, right?))
((Good ending, uhh... think you can get back to KoTS now dragonite? (Gonna start calling you that from now on.) Kinda need you for a bit, also, shiny is banned from KoTS for being a jerk to others, raging about ONE thing that did not go his way, and for rage quitting.))
((Guess all that's left to do... is have a mod lock this, for fear of accidental revival.))
((Heh... well, if I get a response, and it says something like 'No, sorry, one name change per user', I'll tell you, 'k?))
((Waskom, up for War of the Elements?))
