I check my watch and see that there's only a few minutes left unil the trial starts. Realising that I know absolutely nothing about the case, I start looking around for any information that might help me.
Now that I see, I was a bit too rushed there. Don't let your anger cover up the truth.
"Then, witness," I say. "What did the killer and you did afterwards? Did you attempt to stop his murder?"

I wonder if I get whipped horribly if I win the case, then I somehow black out.
Also, add Shi-Long Lang to the Defense Attorney list, and Klaiver Gavin and Professor Layton to the Prosecutor list. (Professor Layton was Phoenix's rival in Labyrinth City, and his apperentice is Luke Triton.)))
"Er.... Um...." I stuttered. What if he purposely gives me bad advice so I lose the case? I thought to myself. "Uh.... S-Sure..." I said nervously.
"Okay." ((Start tutorial music!)) "As an attorney, you must now perform a cross-examination. In a cross-examination, you attempt to find a contradiction in a testimony, and show the contradiction with evidence. But in this case, there isn't much of a testimony to object to..." I start thinking, "So you must press the witness. By pressing, you attempt to draw more information from the witness that he/she didn't mention. Then, a new contradiction may pop up. Now...is your time to start the cross-examination. If you need help understanding what to do, ask me."
