"I think our priority right now is scoping out that burning village. It smells of his treachery from a mile away." Jaeden looked towards the rising smoke.
"Prepare yourselves. If he waits there, he will show us no quarter."
Jaeden turned around again.
"In regards to your training, i'm afraid I can only teach martial arts. Chi mastery takes years of practice so I can't help you there. What kind of new moves were you thinking of?"
((Holy cow! :biggrin.gif: This RP has really picked up!))
Chaistan turned to the new Aetherian, puzzled. "You mean you've encountered these things before? I've been fighting the Graundul for about twenty years, and I've never seen one of these things before." He frowned. "However, I did run into someone who had shadow powers." His face darkened. "The Shadow Commandant." He turned to Larkus with an inquiring look. "Did you know him? Back when you were the High Commandant, was there a commandant with shadow powers?"
*Edit*((Also, I'm going to suggest to newcomers that they be some warpers, since the only warpers we had were Gage(vanished off the face of the earth), Filly and whatsherface (ditched by Wolfess 'cause they had nothing to go on), and Hadrian (ditched by Natedude because he didn't really know what to do with him). I want some more warpers! :biggrin.gif: ))
It'd be nice to amass enough blocks for a serious construction using these templates. Instead of having fake temples and castles, I could have real fake temples and castles <3
"I've only encountered them once. They are fierce creatures that never stop. Don't look directly at them or they will never stop chasing you. They are destroyed by water. It was the only way i got away alive." Tom turned to Jaeden. "I have been practicing and learning new moves with my weapons. I learned a new sword technique but it is very difficult to pull off and may get you killed if you don't pull it off just in time."

"Dragons are dragons because humans can't kill 'em...so what do you call a man that kills dragons?" - Godo, Berserk
"How is it that some of you have encountered them, but I haven't in my twenty years of fighting the Graundul?" He bent down to look closer at the creature and saw a greenish translucent ball. "Wait, that's what he had! He had one of these the day I avenged her!" He picked it up, looked into it's depths and saw a figure shrouded in shadow. The pearl started glowing softly, then Chaistan felt something moving into him through the hand he held the pearl in. As he jumped up in shock, it quickly permeated through his whole body. He dropped to his knees, weak after what the pearl did, and eventually stabilized himself.
He rose to his feet amidst his companions, and looked at the pearl again. He had a feeling, one that was telling him something, that he could do something he wasn't able to before. He lifted his free hand and willed something, anything to happen. He was not ready for what happened next. The Masked Krusader willed tangible shadow out of his hands, just like the Shadow Commandant, murderer of his dear wife, was able to do before Chaistan ended him.
He looked down at his hands, then at the pearl, in shock. He looked at Larkus. "What?"

zelos felt anxiety and anticepation as the large stone doors slowly opened. here he was, standing in front of the grand church of the hidden goddess, on a secret mission for Regent of Aquaria.
(Oh! *failpalm*)
Lhidek had totally gotten his Steves wrong. The Steve he was thinking about was Steve the sheep, whom he'd eaten the other day. This Steve was obviously not Steve the sheep. The wolf couldn't help but place a paw on his face in his stupidity. But now, he had a new thought- Beware of all men named Steve. But, he soon pushed that out of his head when he saw Chaistan do some... weird thing with shadows. Enna watched too, transfixed. "Huh. That's sorta... Nifty?" She muttered softly, not really knowing what else to say. Well, damn. Compared to all these old people, all she had was awesome aim with daggers and pretty good skills in terms of martial arts. No special powers, or experiences with which to be wise. Well... Great. I feel marginally less cool now. She thought, frowning slightly.
"WOAH! What was that?! How did you just throw shadow? That is seriously cool. And creepy. Isn't that what Steve did at the battle at his new Graunduli tower?"
(Too fast! I can't keep up!)
"Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!"
N pulled back abruptly on the ignition and immediately put on a dazed look. After shaking his head he recounted what had happened. He'd broken some barrier of some kind, which he could deduce meant he had left the isolated time bubble. Everything was as it was, and N was back in the world.
His ship had retained its color scheme.
Waving this aside he decided the first course of action would be to meet up with some people and find out the going on. Hopefully familiar faces would pop up. They do that. Quite a bit, actually.

"Well I think we may as well get some supplys and head to that village you were talking about, I don't think here is the safest place. Oh and does anyone know where I can get some salves? These wounds still burn."
(Im glad I decided to join in at the town now )

Jaeden stepped back as a shadow rose from the masked one's palm.
"Chaistan is it? I didn't know you could bend shadows..."
"And yes, thats a good plan. We should search the town for any supplies we can get." Jaeden turned to the one called Rohan.
"As for your wounds, I think I can help you there. It might hurt a touch but bear with me."
Jaeden placed his hands above the man's wounds and they began to glow a soft purple. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he concentrated on closing the wounds back over and repairing the tissue damage.
"There! You should be good to go then."
Just then, Jaeden felt a ripple in the air, as if time itself was being disrupted. Then the faint sound of an engine off in the distance. He looked in the direction of the sound and saw a large Aetherian airship moving towards them.
"What on earth....."
((Thats your cue Olphraen))
"I couldn't bend shadow until now, Jaeden!" He looked at the pearl still in shock. He decided to experiment with the shadow powers. He willed it out to a nearby tree, but he couldn't sustain it for that long. "Well that didn't work."

((Yay, Cues.))
"How many times am I going to scream ohmygosh in the next 30 secon- Ohmygosh, Ohmygo-" N was going to run into those in front of him. He reckoned it was going to hurt them quite a bit. he had 31 seconds, "Ohmygosh" To veer out of the way, make that 30. Of course, N essentially had all of the time in the world, but that wasn't the sort of thing regular people had.
N decided to ditch his ship, with an upward incline, allowing himself to make an exit, without hurting anything, he could then apologize.
So he hit the ignition, turned the nobs down, pulled back on the acceleration, and inclined the plane upwards. Upon doing this, he jumped out of the planes right side, allowing it to tumble around and eventually face palm into the small patch of dirt ahead, luckily it wouldn't hit any trees.
N then saw Jaeden, whom he felt he recognized and knew, but couldn't quite place if the events where real or fiction.
"Hello?" N let out a meek grin as the plane planted itself into the mound of dirt.
Enna looked up at the airship and it's driver. That.. was kind of random. But cool nonetheless. Hopefully it would still work, though. Maybe they could crash it into Steve's newest place. Then again... It would make a cool way to travel too, and it would be a bit of a waste if they just... crashed it into a building. But man, it would be such a cool entrance. Of course, stealth was probably the wise choice in this situation. Lhidek walked over to N, wagging his tail. Being a friendly wolf, he just wanted to say hi. Unlike his antisocial master. He sat happily in front of N, obviously demanding that he say hello to him second. Enna, who'd just stayed put like a lazy bum, smirked. "Lhidek, you're such a ham!" She muttered in a low tone, so that only Lhidek could hear it. Or so she thought. Other people who were close to her general area or who had really good hearing would probably hear it too. Enna was usually louder than she wanted to be when it came to talking.

((Oopsie, thanks for pointing that out! Fixed!))
"I doubt it. His senses are keen, we could barely place a proper hit on him. Still, if you think you can pull it off, by all means try."
