I might as well post my app for consideration...This is my very first app that I made for anyone, that isn't a tragic story centered on the character. So if you don't like, just give constructive criticism. No flames please. Also, please don't mind the use of dragons, cause I have been very addicted to them. And the biography size is mediocre in me eyes XD.
Name:
Chris [Norman Sam]
Age:
24
Gender:
Male
Race:
Human
Class: transfiguration(Mage, I guess)
Appearance:
When human:
average height, spiky jet black hair, and slightly pale. Left eye is dark blue, like the deep end of an ocean, while the right eye is blood red. Wears a black overcoat with a hood, that covers black pants, and grey shirt. Has a half-mask covering the right half of his face.
When transformed:
a dragon with scales as dark as the night, with both eyes red, and a tail with a few spikes at the end. He is about the size of a hut when cured up.
Equipment:
-dagger made out of bones
Personality:
Slightly protective towards Choco. Completely fine with killing. Quiet sometimes. If you earn his trust, it will be an unusual thing.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
-Stealthy: he is stealthy enough to pickpocket someone, but will not kill them like an assassin.
-Scales: when he transforms, his scales are hard enough to be counted as his armor, but it will not hold against heavyier hits
-Injury: when he gets hurt in dragon form, and chafes bcd to human, the injury will cause double the pain. It is the same vice versa, from human to dragon.
-Lift: don't expect to use him as a pack mule. He can not lift more then 2 metal forges, or three humans/others at a time.
-Fragile Wings: He can not fly if you damage his wings to much.
Biography:
Chris was always fascinated by dragons. They were such beautiful, yet dangerous creatures. He has always wondered: why do people always hate them? As his village once again went out to hunt the dragon that has been spotted nearby, he tagged along. Well, more like he followed in secret. You see, he was only five years old. He was only a young boy. Well, young and curious boy. As the villagers killed the dragon, they chopped off the head, and brought it back to the village, as a trophy. They stuck it on a stake, and left the stake in the ground in the village square. Chris however, stayed behind. He saw something glittering in the dark. It was...an egg? Well, Chris took the egg, figuring that his fellow villagers just killed the mother, and took it home and hid it inside his house. He felt sorry for the egg, sorry that he couldn't do anything to stop the village from killing it's family.
About two years later, the egg hatched. The dragon was the color of those lovely yellow flowers he sees in the garden. It was so small! It was barely the size of his hand. It was apparently a pigmy dragon, one of the smaller breeds. He named it Choco. He cared for it, and fed it. It went pretty well, until his father found him playing with the dragon. The villagers gathered around as the father dragged Chris out, while Chris was still hugging Choco. His father told Chris that he has to let go of the "evil, dangerous creature", as he puts it, so that they may kill it. But Chris wouldn't let go. He cared for the dragon to much. Just at the moment, another dragon soared overhead and landed on a nearby home. It saw the villagers that killed it's kin, and was about to kill another one. As it was about to raze to whole village, it saw something unusual. The little child, no more then 7 cycles old, was holding and protecting the hatchling. The dragon made the decision. It's plan was to get the hatchling, and the child, and bring them to safety. Unfortunately, fate had other ideas. As the dragon was reaching for Chris, a swordsman had climbed the building, and [barely] managed to stab the dragon's neck. The dragon fell from the building, and crashed to the ground below. As the villagers cheered, the dragon looks at Chris in the eye, and then as it died, it transferred it's soul to Chris, allowing him to transform to a dragon, and back to human. Of course, Chris didn't know that. He just ran off with Choco, to anywhere. He just couldn't stay behind and see his family and friends cheer for the death of the dragon.
Chris spent the next thirteen years as a thief, pickpocketing cash to buy his clothes, and food for himself and Choco. When he was hunting in a forest one day, about a month after his 20th birthday, he accoutered a bear. There was no way Chris could beat the bear, with what little skills in combat that he has. Choco took that moment to launch himself straight at the bear's eyes. The bear was blinded, and enraged at the hit, swatted Choco right out of the air. Chris was completely consumed by anger, he then transformed to a dragon. He immediately picked up the bear with his mouth, and snapped it into two. He went over to look at Choco, who was just dazed, but otherwise fine. Chris spent the next four years learning his abilities. He sometimes enters the city, to get in touch with anyone, to know what's happening elsewhere in the land.
Other: Qwerty? Oh, and Choco is the size of a parrot.
One-liner:
Chris, the changeling
Abilities:
Human form:
-Transform:To transform to dragon. He can also transform back at will
Dragon form:
-Fire breathe: can burn you.
-Ice breathe: can freeze you.
-Fly: only when wings are not heavily damaged
Hey, if it was up to me, You'd be in. Just thought i'd let you know...

((Dont double post. From my viewDenied. You need a lot more description in other areas of your application. Equipment, Class, Personality, All of the app needs to have proper description. Moreover, your character's way too overpowered. Mainly because he's a dragon. There aren't dragons flying around in the continent and are almost creatures of legend. They definitely aren't common to be hated as a race, or for people to find their eggs. It needs quite a bit of reworking. If your radical about dragons though, this probably isnt the RP for you.))
((Orcish, Aye, I haven't been completely focused when posting in the RP section, school, work, ect. have been holding me back quite a bit. Sorry if I end up screwing up some details here and there. ))
((Ohnoez. This RP CANNOT die. I haven't been posting recently because I've been resting since I became sick. However, in case I do have to go on short leave again, I leave responsibility to MrShawarma. He knows the plot and everything.
But anywoo, I agree with all of MrShawarma's updates and stuff. The map is completely correct, and we went over it together. Sorry for any troubles, but you'll just have to adjust to the cities and things.
And in regard of kimiyosis, I'm afraid you're denied. You do need more in many areas, and the half-dragon thing is a bit overpowered. Adjust it and it will be considered.))
Zeke kept walking alongside Yetto and Staven, trying his hardest to keep his head up and eyes open. Each step sent a shiver through his spine, and made his eyes fog over. Zeke heard snippets of a conversation between Yetto and Staven about fighting with a sledgehammer. Zeke shuffled forward again, but suddenly collapsed in the grass, his body hot and cold at the same time. Zeke was not used to traveling large distances in short times, and he wasn't eating or drinking a lot either in this time. So, it was only natural that he became sick in the days of traveling. Zeke rolled in the grass, his breath moistening the grass as he struggled to breath. His body was covered in chills, but his face was burning up. He had caught a fever.

((Where exactly are you wanted Kimi? It's not specified in your application and you've seemingly changed it from the Capital to Amaris.))
Yetto flapped his wings and accelerated as he saw that they were nearing the edge of the forest. As he soared, he glanced down to see how his companions were doing. To his shock, he saw that Zeke had collapsed and was lying on the ground without Staven noticing. Sharply swerving downward, Yetto landed a couple yards in front of Staven, worry welling inside of him. "Zeke! Something's wrong with Zeke!" Yetto called out to Staven pointing behind the metalforged. He rushed past and kneeled beside Zeke, turning him so Zeke was lying on his back. Placing a hand on Zeke's forehead, it was evident that Zeke had caught a nasty fever. He was still breathing, but it would be tough for him to make it to Amaris without assistance. "Fever" Yetto told Staven "He's caught a fever..." . We should have made sure he rested properly, he definitly didnt seem to be used to this kind of travel Yetto thought, a pang of guilt waving through him. Opening up Zeke's medicine satchel, Yetto pulled out a cloth bandage and wrapped it around Zeke's forhead, soaking it with cold water to cool him down. Slowly flapping his wings to shade and cool down
Zeke, Yetto looked towards Staven; "We're gonna need to figure out a way to get him to Amaris, theres no way he'll be able to make it on his own."
((Then the bounty should stay in the capital .The crime shouldnt be too drastic, Cobra should have noticed the fact that Kimi blew up an entire school prior to beginning. Either way, it should be assumed that the bounty is only present in the capital, he would have been hunted down and executed far earlier if it was in every major city. The worst that could happen is if someone who's been to the capital recognizes you...))
Yetto nodded, "Yeah, I suppose once we get to the forest we'll be able to make some padding" Yetto lifted Zeke up off the ground as if he was carrying a baby and handed him to Staven. "I hope he's not too heavy for you?" Yetto asked, "I suppose the sooner we reach Amaris and get him rested up, the better off we are." he stated. " I suppose we should go then" Yetto ran forward and took to the skies once more, gesturing for Staven to follow.
By the time they made it to the forest, the sun was slowly beginning to set over the horizon. Yetto landed right in front of the thick mass of trees that began the forest. "Well, we're almost there. One of these trees should be sufficient yes?" Yetto asked Staven. By the looks of things, they would reach Amaris just after sunset.
Ins sat down, glaring at the others as they milled around, waiting for one of them to have an idea of what they were going to do. "Hey, Just a reminder: We may want to get to the City before night time. I mean, that's just a suggestion." He said, setting his bow down in front of him and polishing it.

Qualien
"Right then, the majority decides to continue. It would be worth the trouble to sleep in real beds, trust me." Qualien turns around and starts heading into the forest. It would be a little dangerous unfortunately, what with feral animals, and the possibility of bandits. A loud crack was audible from fairly far away, but the blitz simply ignored it.
"Hey, Qual, Wait up!" Ins cried, jumping to his feet and hurrying after the other blitz, not even bothering to put his bow away. He eventually caught up, and kept an even pace just behind him. 'I wonder whether the other will follow or not...' he wondered, ducking under low hanging branches and the like. It had been a while since he'd been in the aramis forest. The last time he'd even bothered to come this far was when he was younger, when his mentor was still teaching him to hunt.

Soon enough, the trio reached the forests. As they wandered amonst the trees, Staven found a tree that they could use for a carrying pad. Yetto watched with awe as Staven managed to knock the tree down with a mere swing of his sledge. Soon enough, Staven had made a carrying pad that could be used for Zeke to use until they arrived to Amaris and treated him. "Seeing as we dont have much padding using my jacket would be fine, I dont usually wear anything on the top of my body anyways. Yetto removed his jacket and handed it to Staven to finish up the carrying pad. By the looks of things they would reach Amaris soon enough.
"There" Yetto pointed westward, to where the sun was setting "Thats where we should be headed". Watching intriguingly as Staven hefted up Zeke, Yetto smiled and lead the way.
After a while of traveling through the forest, they managed to reach the gates of Amaris, just as the sun was setting. The city was huge, Albiet cleverly placed in the thick forests. Looking up, the gates were an intriguing combination of various types of wood, reinforced with stone on the inside and outside of some areas. The trio managed to enter the city with a fair amount of ease; they were let in once the situation regarding Zeke in a carrying pad. The city itself was large as well, it had a city feel to it, but was far more peaceful and comforting than most due to the calm atmosphere of the forest surrounding. "First things first, we need some medical attention for Zeke, and a place to spend the night" Yetto told Staven as they approached one of the many city-squares. "What do you think we should do?" Yetto asked
((Sorry bout the short post, figured it would get us somewhere though))
((Who is still active in this roleplay? Posts seem to have decreased quite a lot lately.))
((Wont be able to make a legit post, but some words to say:
My activity is pretty low at the moment, school is evil and so is homework and tests :tongue.gif: shame but we all know it. Hopefully tests and work will lighten next week but for the next couple of days I'll do my best to post.
To Proporo, CptPorkins, Kimi and Moar, I'd suggest heading off to Amaris, unless you plan on waiting for Infinite to post. On that note, Infinite, you need to post soon to at least tell us your still around. As for the rest, you guys can choose disregard Arman's actions at the moment (we'll forward his character to match up with the rest when he returns) or and head on to Amaris. (thats where I figured you guys were headed) If you guys decide not to post, then I'll post an "event" (like Zeke getting sick; random events), as well as my own character's actions, as to change things up a bit for you guys. I dont mind what you guys decide, it'll be fun either way.
((BEEEEHHH. Sorry about the super inactivity recently. I've been a mixture of bored, busy, lazy, troubled, depressed, hyper, happy, and most of all FOREVER ALONE. But all in all, I have to make a super quick post, and update the OP tomorrow. (That I should have done a month ago. Oh god.)))
Zeke rolled around, his head swimming as he was faintly aware of Staven and Yetto fussing about him. He felt himself be placed on a stretcher of some sort, as they began moving out to Amaris. "D-don't worry about me... I'll, I'll be f-fine." Zeke managed to say, his words barely escaping his mouth.
World Event:
((This will usually create interesting events for you guys, whether helpful or not. :3))
By this time, the news of the Shards have spread far and wide. By now, the amount of adventurers has increased tenfold, many looking for adventurers to crush. Be sure to watch out of any of these rouge groups of fighters who look to destroy the competition. *hint hint*
Also, the townsfolk of Amaris have reported an increase of bandits in the forest. The guards say that a bandit camp has been made in the center in a grove of trees. A bounty has been put up on the bandit boss camping there. Be sure to be carefully when traveling to Amaris through the forest.
