Steve looked around for whatever direction the crying was coming from. "Hello!? Is anybody in here?!" His only reply was the continued crying. He decided to go down a branch off from the main tunnel to the left, where the noise seemed to be coming from. However, he didn't notice that the walls seemed to have the color green embeded in them. Nor did he notice the strange small animals in the shadows.
(Sure, I guess we can have non-canon aliens. But aliens from other shows would be taking it too far. If you want a specific alien for one of it's powers, maybe you could think up an original of your own? Also, like my avatar? )
"AAAGGHH!!" Steve literally jumped a foot in the air when he saw the image of the pale boy in front of him. He did wonder after his heart stopped pounding a few seconds later why it was a guy who had appeared and not a girl, considering the noises he heard before.
Not one to back off from an adventure, Steve went onward down the passage, although a lot more cautiously, looking around himself as if he could see the ghost around him. "Okay, nothing to worry about, it was just a hallucination from being so far underground. Relax, nothing to be scared of down here."
Previously, there was enough light(somehow) in the tunnel to see by, but it was starting to get darker, so he brought out the flashlight he had brought with him. Only then did he notice the green veins embedded in the stone around him. He decided to try following them in the direction they got thicker, thinking they might have something to do with the ghost, like they might be ley-lines or something.
(You don't have to be good at making stuff up to be original. Just take bits and pieces from aliens you like, and put them together in whatever way you like. If you don't want to do that, you could just tell me what powers you want in the alien, and I could come up with the design and weaknesses.)
Steve went very stiff for a moment, before looking behind himself.... To see nothing was there. "...Ghost's exist. Only explanation. Assuming that there's anything down here worth looking for, I'll just keep going. I really hope I didn't just walk into an Indian burial ground..."
Steve kept following the green lines in the walls to where they took a sharp left turn into another tunnel, disappearing on the right side altogether.
Mike pulled a IPhone from his pocket and installed a app with zombie sounds, then he turned it on and in the tunnel could be heard the sounds of zombies. After some minutes, he got some red paint and began to paint the green lines in red.
Steve was really starting to get worried now. A few feet ahead the green lines turned red, and he had started to hear gurgling noises as well as moans coming from up ahead. "Okay, first a Ghost, and now Zombie noises. What next, Mumm-" Steve quickly clamped a hand over his mouth as he realized what he was about to say. First rule of horror movies: Don't say rhetorical things.
Steve grudgingly kept going forward. Something was off about the things ahead of him. Maybe it was the way the green lines shifted to red, or the sudden presence of disturbing noises. Or maybe it was just his determination to get to the end of this tunnel. Either way, he'd turn tail and run at the first sign of an actual monster.
(Yup, pranks are funny. Especially when you aren't the one being pranked. )
"AGH!" Steve felt it hit his head, and everything went dark. Not because he was knocked out by the collision, no, but because his head was covered completely by a bucket of red paint that was dripping down his body. The sudden presence of it made him slip, and he landed heavily on his stomach, starting to slide down the steep incline in front of him.
"OW!" Steve felt a sharp pain in his stomach as something relatively hard hit it, making his downward descent go faster. As he felt he was about to get serious injury when he eventually stopped, it leveled out gently, and he ended up skidding to a stop, though a little scraped and bruised from the ride.
"*Groan*... Anyone get the number of the bus that hit me?" He asked rhetoricly as he pulled the bucket off his head. "...How did this even get down here? Is- WAS the ghost a carpenter?" He really didn't want to know.
(You getting tired of this? I think I can still go on.)
Steve looked up as the weapons all went around him, landing and chinking off the stone floor around him. Apparently this ghost had a thing for cutlery too...
"I'm out'a here!!" Steve got up and ran as fast as he could down the tunnel, which happened to be in the direction of where the now again green lines started thickening the most they ever had while he was down here. As he turned a corner, he saw daylight was spilling straight down onto a watch in the center of a big room.
Yes, it was- "A watch. Underground. Well, it's not stranger than a ghost throwing knives at me." He ran towards it, though he didn't notice the strange creatures that littered the roof of the cave, and started stirring after he passed under them. As he reached a hand out to touch the watch, it convulsed and leaped out at him. As he raised his arm to protect his face, he felt it latch onto his wrist.
Steve stared at the 'watch' on his wrist in wonder, fiddling with it, not knowing that it wasn't going to come off, or the trouble it was about to cause him.
"SCREECH!!" Steve turned around, his hand still at his wrist, and saw strange bats all around him. Now, they were the same size as regular bats, but what made them stand out was that they were flowing with electricity, and had yellow markings all over themselves, and they were all focused on the watch Steve had on his wrist. Steve wisely decided to run, not noticing as he hit a button on the watch, making the center of it go up.
As he was running, one of the bats dive-bombed his leg, and he fell down, the thing on the watch being pushed back in as he fell on it. With a flash of light, he turned into a strange green plant-like creature with a red and black head, that also smelled very bad too.
(So, your character willing to get involved after that? )
Mike now know what the watch was is was the thingytrix something! But after Steve transformed in the plant alien, he could smell him and is was bad!"YOU STINK PLANTY!" He yelled at him, ignoring the bats.
Steve was still confused and disorientated from the transformation, so it was understandable that he didn't hear the voice shouting at him. What he did notice, however, were the bats all around him dropping to the floor like flies, unconscious from something. Then he smelled the air, and imediately put a hand on his nose from how bad it smelled. "Oh, that stinks! It wasn't this bad when I came down here!" It was only after he stopped speaking that he realized... He didn't sound like him. He looked down at himself, and saw the plant creature he had become. "............." He promptly fainted and fell back to lying down.
