Chisille didn't care about how Faux just stood there, overwhelmed by the situation that had been set before him. According to her, he was an interruption stopping her from completing her goal. Once the goal was finished though things might end up being a little different, though she will remember him when he tries to do anything like this again.
With the sudden and impatient yell surging through her mind, the sense of urgency of her task rose dramatically. She wasn't hesitating before since each time she either was interrupted or had to cover her scales from an attack, but this emotional boost just made the spike on her tail plunge into Fin's throat faster. With a sickening noise of splitting flesh, her spike was jammed straight into his windpipe. Fin's unconscious body couldn't help but gasp for air as his respiratory system started to fail, blood filling the corners of his mouth.
When Chisille heard the small tear of Fin's throat, satisfaction for completing her task ran through her. It felt good, very very good to get 'revenge' on all the things that she had to suffer for over her short life. However, it wasn't whole satisfaction. Annie, her other target, was still alive somewhere. She needed to die before Chisille felt completely satisfied.
At the same time, Chisille's attack on Faux was another cloud of that grey mist in an attempt to keep him away. She didn't have much of a choice to use it either, as that was all she thought she had. Luckily for Faux, the golden glimmer managed to get him out of the way of the direct blast so his emotions were not completely overrun in an instant, like before.
Now that Fin was dead, Chisille had no reason to stay around in this room anymore. Faux was busy being shoved about or (what she assumed) under the effects of her calming mist, Annie was elsewhere, the golden glimmer was of no importance to her and the entire staircase was about to go up in flames anyway. Without hesitating, she pulled her tail spike out of the dying man and walked over to the nearest door, then started to open it.
Fin woke up with a choked gasp, seeing the tip of a tail above him, and feeling the worst agony he had ever felt in his throat. Glancing down he saw the spike in his throat. This... This is the end. Fin tried to think peaceful thoughts, tried to be angry, tried to panic even, but the only thing that he was capable of thinking of at that moment was her. As the serpent tugged it's tail spike out, he finally called out her name, barely a whisper of breath inside of him. "Selene..." And with that he fell asleep once again, growing colder and colder...
Boris stands in a vast cemetery. The night is bathed in the moons faint glow. A low, blue mist blankets the ground, from which the top of nameless headstones show.
Boris can see Annie. She is a little older. She is facing Boris, standing between two headstones and brilliantly adorned in a white gown, a crown of gold light floats upon her head. In her arms she cradles a newborn child, swaddled in crimson cloud.
Boris draws near, longing to behold the child. He stops close when Annie speaks.
“I have supped the blood of mortal man.
I have born your animosity. Your strength and heart have been imparted.”
Boris now looks upon the infant. The infant is smiling, they turn their gaze to Boris, and speak.
“Father.”
Boris wakes upon his bed.
With the exception of Ezra and Chisille, the same looming presence is now felt by all those in the mansion. …It is clear that every person is being watched by an unseen, encroaching malevolence.
Boris wakes with a start from the dream, not too much crazier than one of his regular dream, since it had a talking a baby in it. Dreams usually made Boris chuckle, being that they were ever more dumb than he was, but this one particular dream sort of made him angry, because it had that very, very bad girl in it.
"Liar..." He grumbled, "Little babies don't talk."
Then, of course, there was the very bad feeling in the air that he felt after dismissing the dream as silly, stupid liar Annie stuff, and as much as it wasn't a good feeling, it also wasn't the first time he thought monsters might be hiding under his bed or in a closet watching him, so he just went back to sleep.

Sunset goes to look around for a way back to her friends. Unfortunately for her she doesn't find her way back to them, as it is blocked by debris and pieces from the church. She decides to pace about the place for now, staying quiet and on alert just in case.

Trixie looked to Jack in a slight worry. "What do you think that could be...?" she asks, slightly nervous.
After having a dream about eating crumbs from Trixie's silk smooth skin at a romantic picnic on a perfect rainy day, Sluggy wakes up on Trixie's shoulder feeling nervous. His goggling eyes reeled about in search of anything that might embody the pending danger he was suddenly feeling.
"Trixie, baby, sweetheart!" He says, doing a few blubbering turns, "You gotta hide me. Please hide me, I'm a very fragile slug, and slugs dry up and shrivel really fast when they're scared!" His eyes sway about thoughtfully, searching for ideas about where she might be able to hide him. "Maybe put me somewhere warm and moist? I mean... just until the trouble is over, then you can come and find me, right?"
Buttons, still in the same spot on the floor, couldn't help but wonder what Bob was doing, or if he was safe from the pending doom that was being felt. He also took a moment to nibble at a flea.
Meanwhile, Ariel is still in the kitchen eating when the blast of light happens, but it wasn't the strangest thing he'd seen that day, he was more concerned about the unsettling sensation of prying eyes. He gets to his feet, drawing his sword, which as mentioned before is capable of damaging spirits as well as physical matter. But as he stands, the prying doom wasn't the only bad feeling he had. The changes to his body, brought on by his most recent transgression, was starting to cause all sorts of pain and discomfort throughout his body. He was getting a fever, breaking out in a cold sweat as it felt like every inch of his skin was being pierced with hot needles. The food he just ate felt like lava in his stomach. His mouth was suddenly parched and to swallow felt like razor blades cutting at his throat. His eyes started aching and everything in the room became different shades of orange and red, while becoming distorted with double vision.
But he kept his ground, gripping to the sword, ready for anything that might strike.
The dazzling array of lights both in the attic and surrounding the mansion climax in the forming of one light. This light fills the mansion and all of Waise for but a moment, yet only affecting the following people:
Ei falls to the floor and Dreams…
Ei stands in a vast cemetery. The night is bathed in the moons faint glow. A low, blue mist blankets the ground, from which the top of nameless headstones show.
Ei can see Annie. She is a little older. She is facing Ei, standing between two headstones and brilliantly adorned in a white gown, a crown of gold light floats upon her head. In her arms she cradles a newborn child, swaddled in crimson cloud.
Ei draws near, longing to behold the child. She stops close when Annie speaks.
“I have supped the blood of mortal man.
I have endured your contest. I have known your carnal love. Your seed has been claimed as my host. Your gift is my giving.”
Ei now looks upon the infant. The infant is smiling, they turn their gaze to Ei, and speak.
“Love me.”
Ei wakes on the floor of the attic. Annie’s chamber is unchanged. The lights are gone. The unsettling sense of a looming presence has returned to the room in their absence.
With the exception of Ezra and Chisille, the same looming presence is now felt by all those in the mansion. …It is clear that every person is being watched by an unseen, encroaching malevolence.
As Ei wakes up from the dream, she starts smiling, turning to look at Annie. Her assumptions were correct; the child Annie was carrying was hers, all the more reason to protect Annie at all costs. As the looming presence returns, Ei turns her attention way from Annie, ready to fight off whatever threats arrived.
"Annie... child..." was all that he was willing to say. Having noticed the aura of malevolence in the mansion, however, he refuses to say more as he becomes alert to anything that could come out at him at any moment.
As Silas mutters something about Annie and a child, Maras looks at him with suspicion for some reason.
"Tell us more. Now."
As Fin's life fades away, he suddenly wakes up again. Though, not in the mansion where he died, but instead in a strange, endless ocean, standing on the water. A cloudless blue sky is reflected in the calm water, as gentle waves cause Fin to wobble a bit, though they're too weak to do much more than make him sway from one side to the other constantly in this empty, endless ocean. For a while, it looks as though nothing will happen, as if Fin will spend the rest of eternity in this place.
Then, a voice. "Well, well, well, you've met a terrible fate, have you not?" The voice comes from behind Fin, and Fin is unable to resist turning around to face the voice. Standing behind him, a large figure, almost twice Fin's size, wearing a black cloak and carrying a large pole. "Slain by a dragon on a rampage because you got in it's way, though not through it's fire, but by it's tail. Such a shame your life was cut short in such a... unique way, don't you think?"
Meanwhile, back in the mansion, Fin's body remains on the ground where it was when Chisille's tail pierced it's neck.
Chisille opens the door, goes through it, and arrives in the same room where she left her cookies, back when she started her rampage.
"I'm not sure... the robed figures, perhaps? Or perhaps Ei and Annie are up to something... regardless of what it is, be on your guard." Jack was inclined to believe that the members of the Order were in some way responsible for the malevolent feeling that filled the mansion; they had given him a bad feeling before, and with the events that had transpired that night, that feeling could only get worse.
Trixie sighed slightly at what he said and nodded. "I kinda doubt Ei and Annie are up to something....from what I've heard the robed figures seem to be worse than them." she said to Jack, quietly. She was on guard now.

His eyes sway about thoughtfully, searching for ideas about where she might be able to hide him. "Maybe put me somewhere warm and moist? I mean... just until the trouble is over, then you can come and find me, right?"
Trixie thought for a second. "I can put you in my hat, It'd be dark though. Its warm, probably."

An invisible force having thrown him, Faux grunts as he hits the wall with a loud thud. He glares dizzily up at the dragon as she begins to walk away. A feeling of immense hatred begins to course through him. His sword, floating nearby, as some sort of reaction to this, flies straight towards him, which he catches and grips stiffly. The sword-- the Truth begins to glow immensely, fuelled by his hatred. He would kill her, he thought. She had to die.
Before Faux could act, the golden glimmer, previously seen, begins to shine, unknown to Chisille. It blinds him with a brilliant light, and time effectively begins to stop for him. And then he saw it. Fleeting visions of the future. A cycle of loss and revenge. A person who perpetuated this cycle because it brought meaning to his life, eventually resulting in his end. He was doomed to this reality if he gave into his desires.
The visions stop, and Faux finds himself in a white void. The golden shimmer appears before him, which appears to collapse into itself before taking form-- appearing as... Faux. The first Faux looks at his arms, and then at the rest of his body. Tall. Leather armour. And a black cape. He chuckled, coming to a realisation. He thought he was Faux. He thought they were one and the same. But now he was wrong.
Renard wryly smiles at Faux. His cape flutters slightly.
"In my head, there're two versions of me," Renard begins to say. "One of them is saying, 'Forget about it all. Lick your wounds and move on.'
Faux tilts his head endearingly in some sort of confusion.
"What's the other one saying?"
"It keeps shouting, 'Make them pay!' 'Kill every single one of them!'," says Renard. "And it won't stop getting louder."
"Sure that isn't my voice in there?" giggles Faux.
"Could be! It's a bit of a loudmouth!"
"There you go, then!"
The two simultaneously let out a hearty laughter.
Faux eventually stops and begins to look into the distance of the never-ending void.
"A long time ago, I felt the same sense of deep loss as you now, y'know. I cried as I charged by myself toward my last battle. As I held my sword and killed hundreds, my friends, who they had killed, were all I thought about."
Renard's eyes widen. His memories were returning. The hazy night in which the city he worked in went up in flames... and the giant graveyard of swords in his dream world where he had relived an event where Faux futilely fought an army by himself. It was connected. The field of swords was located directly in front of the city. It was being attacked... and Faux had been too late, though he still fought.
"As I laid on the ground, bleeding out, I decided I would shed no more tears," continues Faux. "Everyone who had died in that war had something they wanted to protect. Family, friends, loved ones, their home... I did, too."
While he says this, he suddenly reaches out to Renard's chest and grabs his locket. Inside, as usual, is the picture of the unknown girl Renard was looking for.
"This is her," Faux says. "Your sister, Camilla. She's safe now. So no matter how painful, no matter how hard, it's nothing to be sad about... I decided that there and then as death took me."
Renard, shocked, looks at Faux wordlessly, taking in everything he had just said. Not much of an expression is returned from Faux.
"You were born of my death," says Faux, "but I know now it wasn't a mistake. You're my second chance. You can make things right. Break the cycle of loss and revenge that we have perpetuated through our entire lives.
"Yeah. You're right. I'll return Waise to its former glory. And if anyone gets in my way... I'll keep convincing them, until they see things my way."
Faux smiles warmly at this notion.
"Looks like my job's done. I have to go."
"Where're you going?"
Faux looks at Renard sadly and points at his heart.
"I'll always be in there," Faux says. "...Thanks for everything."
Renard tries to choke back his tears as the void slowly begins to deconstruct itself.
Finally, he suddenly finds himself back in the real world, still slumped against a wall. Taking one look at himself, he still has Faux's appearance. The dragon was still in the middle of leaving the room. His sword clatters to the ground as Renard releases his grip, finally coming to a decision. She wasn't worth it at all. The sword stops glowing, deprived of the hatred previously fuelling it. The cycle was broken.
A few moments pass before Renard finally gets up and limps over to Fin's body. He only takes one long lamentful look at him before beginning to carry him-- one arm under his legs and the other supporting his back. A little heavy, but Faux's body was strong for his age. Knowing full well of the mansion's room swapping trait, he walks through the same door the dragon did.
Without even looking back at what she had done, Chisille slinks through the open door and with a flick of her tail, she was gone from the room Faux was in and back in the lounge room. Momentarily looking over to nest she had previously made, she coughed from the smoke she had inhaled while kept up her heavy breathing from all the activity she had to do in just a short amount of time. At this point, all the things that had been happening to her started to take their toll on her, slowing her down.
Her claws, mouth and tail spike were all stained red with the blood of others. Some parts of her back and sides were dully aching from where she had been hit hard and small red circles dotted the ground behind her as she walked. Her tail was still bleeding.
Unfortunately the drive of rage still forced her to go on anyway, so after a quick sniff of the room, she huffed and walked over to the next door in her way. She reached up to the next door's handle and pulled it, ready to begin her search through the rooms all over again. Sooner or later through many doors, she ended up encountering the bedroom where Ezmond and Betty were, along with whatever other things were there.
Meanwhile, the fire on the staircase was still burning out of control. Who knows what it'll do to the other rooms.

Fin looked out at the ocean again before turning back to the cloaked 'man'. "Are you... The Grim Reaper?" If he was who he thought he was... Fin would have preferred to face a nest of Snakes alone over this.
Ei’s attention is caught by a sharp sound. She looks to see that Annie’s encasement has ruptured. Cracks continue to form in various areas before the shell decorticates. Annie rises from within the open chamber. She appears older by only a few years, a beautiful young woman in her late teens. The soft locks of her lustrous pearl-white hair seem to glow with an unnatural aura, as does the silver rings of her iris’s, beading like gems against her otherwise powder-blue eyes. Her skin is exquisite, also aglow with a texture that seems somehow out of focus, while her lips are full, glossed with a frosty purple hue.
She rises from her chamber and stands beside the bed, unclothed as she was prior the transformation. She takes her eyes to Ei, a spectral reverence in her gaze.
“Ei… my love, you’ve done well in keeping me safe. Behold, I am no longer under threat.” She smiled attentively. “The Order can no longer defeat me.”
In a peculiar moment, Silas discovers himself alone in the dining room with Maras. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether the others with them had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door. Whichever the case, while Silas is still coming to terms with being forsaken by the others, Maras turns to him with spear ready to strike –
“I’m sorry Silas, but the mistress has spoken. You will no longer be permitted to live.”
In a peculiar moment, Trixie discovers herself alone in the dining room. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering her uncertain as to whether those with her had vanished, or if she had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door. Whichever the case, while still coming to terms with being forsaken, Orson enters the room.
The hooded man is noticed as the door slams shut behind him. Without a moments further notice, he advances upon Trixie, wielding the blade wildly while yelling all manner of profanities.
In a peculiar moment, Jacks discovers himself alone in the dining room. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether those with him had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door. Whichever the case, while still coming to terms with being forsaken, Boris enters the room.
The large man is noticed as the door slams shut behind him. He holds Revel Yell firmly in one hand. His eyes are watered. Lines of many tears streak his face. His lips tremble with the trouble on his mind.
“I’m sorry Mr. Jack. I likes you, but too many people hurt Boris, and I don’t want to hurt anymore.” He raises Revel Yell, now gripped by both hand. “Probably best this way, Mr. Jack.”
Before Jack can reply, Boris steps in quick and low, swinging the weapon with a side angle assault.
In a peculiar moment, Buttons discovers himself alone in the dining room. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether those with him had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door.
In a peculiar moment, Maras discovers himself alone in the dining room with Ezra. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether the others with him had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door. Whichever the case, while Maras is still coming to terms with being forsaken by the others, Ezra looks up frightened from his position on the floor to propose the question:
Boris is awoken with a knock to his bed. Eyes open, he sees a man standing over him. The room is dark, yet just enough light is available to make out the form as that belonging to Jack.
“Hello, Boris. I’m sorry from waking you like this. I’ve come to you because I’ve been giving your situation some careful thought. I’m sorry to be the one to do this but… I believe I know what’s best for you now.” Jack raises Magebuster above his head, preparing to strike. “Clearly, I should be the one to put you out of your misery.”
With a powerful swing, Jack brings down the weapon on Boris.
Ariel sees Renard enter the kitchen with Betty in his arms. By the blood, many lacerations and the gaping wound to her neck, it is clear that she dead. To his rising horror, Renard appears to smile casually while speaking the words:
“I had to, Ariel, she was meant to be mine. But don’t worry… you’ll be joining her soon.”
Renard enters the kitchen with Fin in arms. He sees Ariel before him, yet the angel’s appearance has drastically changed. Dark, demonic wings are spread wide from his back. His eyes are bloodshot and crazed, his mouth lined with many rows of serrated teeth, his skin is burnt red, parched and cracked, yet his entire person shimmers like that of a mirage, while in his hand is a black sword that appears to bend and contort as though it were liquid.
“NO! What have you done!” Ariel yells in a maddened voice, clearly out of his mind, while wielding his sword viciously in his advance upon Renard.
Out of Character: I have requested permission from Buttons via PM that I may take the liberty of Ariel's initial action in this post. I would also like to thank the others players I contacted via PM for their patience in refraining from posting until this post was made.
Silas, not wanting to pick another fight, quickly mustered a quick explanation. "The vision I had. Annie has a child. It called me father. That's all I can tell." He refuses to say much more on the subject.
Maras mutters something along the lines of 'That's something she needs to know', but doesn't respond to Silas.
Fin looked out at the ocean again before turning back to the cloaked 'man'. "Are you... The Grim Reaper?" If he was who he thought he was... Fin would have preferred to face a nest of Snakes alone over this.
The hooded figure chuckles, though it sounds more like a deep humming noise. "No, I am not the Reaper. The Reaper only visits the dying, and you are already dead."
The figure extends an arm and moves it across the open sky, and the scenery changes, now the duo are in the house, witnessing Chisille kill Fin.
"I am here to... give you an offer. An offer to bring you back to life, if you agree on something that is. Are you interested in hearing my proposal, or would you rather... pass on?"
Ei’s attention is caught by a sharp sound. She looks to see that Annie’s encasement has ruptured. Cracks continue to form in various areas before the shell decorticates. She opens her arms, welcoming Ei’s embrace.
Ei turns around once she hears the sound, and watches as Annie emerges, stunned by her new appearance. It takes her a few seconds to get used to Annie’s knew look, but she soon rushes over to embrace Annie.
"The vision, was it true? The child, is it ours?"
In a peculiar moment, Maras discovers himself alone in the dining room with Ezra. Whichever the case, while Maras is still coming to terms with being forsaken by the others, Ezra looks up frightened from his position on the floor to propose the question:
“Where… where have the others gone?”
Maras looks around the room, confused.
"I don't know, so stay close." Maras says, as he reaches out to pull Ezra up onto his feet.
"Let's explore, hope we find some of the others." He says, as he approaches the nearest door and opens it.
The hooded figure chuckles, though it sounds more like a deep humming noise. "No, I am not the Reaper. The Reaper only visits the dying, and you are already dead."

"I am here to... give you an offer. An offer to bring you back to life, if you agree on something that is. Are you interested in hearing my proposal, or would you rather... pass on?"
Fin considered the offer for a moment. Another chance at life.... To right my wrongs. To be with HER. He then looked warily at the hooded person once again. "What... What would I have to do in order to regain my life, Mr.....?"
In a peculiar moment, Trixie discovers herself alone in the dining room. Trixie narrows her eyes at the hooded man. She picks up a chair and hurls it in his direction. She ran around for a little, being careful not to be near his blade. A fiery orange fireball forms in her hand and she sends it flying in his direction. She starts forming another.

Apparently this is what some of my friends think of me here:
In a peculiar moment, Silas discovers himself alone in the dining room with Maras. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether the others with them had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door. Whichever the case, while Silas is still coming to terms with being forsaken by the others, Maras turns to him with spear ready to strike –
“I’m sorry Silas, but the mistress has spoken. You will no longer be permitted to live.”
Silas stares wordlessly at 'Maras', seemingly intently focusing on his, yet at the same time, he looked like was staring right through his - as if he and even the entire mansion wasn't really there at all. It was as if he was in another world, a world that was fading in and out of focus to SIlas. As he stared down the shaft of the spear and up to its owner, Silas also saw flickers of other things in the corner of his eye, interrupting his sight of the here and now - of slaughter and massacre, war and destruction, death and suffering. To him, it was impossible to tell if it was his past or his future, yet he knew - he had caused all this pain. And he didn't know how to stop himself.
After a long moment of rethinking, he simply sighed, and looked down, looking as if he closed his eyes. "I see," he gasped. "I accept my fate."

Silas, not wanting to pick another fight, quickly mustered a quick explanation. "The vision I had. Annie has a child. It called me father. That's all I can tell." He refuses to say much more on the subject.
Trixie sighed slightly at what he said and nodded. "I kinda doubt Ei and Annie are up to something....from what I've heard the robed figures seem to be worse than them." she said to Jack, quietly. She was on guard now.
"I agree. Whatever's going on, I suspect they have more to do with the occurrences in this mansion- and this town in general- than either Annie or Ei do."
As Jack turns, continuing to look for a source of the malevolent feeling, he notices that everyone else has suddenly vanished. He quickly turns, scanning the entire room. "Guys?" Given the scope of the room, and where they had been standing, the others couldn't have just left that fast... could they? The battle before seemed not to last too long, yet had spanned from morning until past sundown... was his sense of time being distorted by the town? Whatever the case, the prior feeling of malevolence that had made him feel uneasy was now edging into a sense of terror. If their group had all been separated...
Jack didn't have much time to think about the implications of being alone now, nor to consider what to do next, as the door slammed behind him; he turned, facing Boris once more. But... hadn't he vanished? Why had he come back? Did he get lost in the mansion's twisted architecture, ending up back where he had started? Jack didn't have time to think over these things as Boris began talking, approaching Jack with Revel Yell in hand.
He had to think quickly as Boris swung; parry or dodge? While Jack figured he was probably strong enough to parry Boris's attack, the angle and height Boris swung the bone at would make it difficult. As such, he leapt out of the way of the swing, drawing his shield and watching Boris for sudden movements. "You don't have to do this, Boris! We're friends, Boris- I don't want to hurt you!" He raises the shield in one hand and Magebuster in the other, entering a defensive stance. "But I didn't come this far to die now! I don't want to fight you, so stand down, because I won't go down without one!"

Ariel figured he better take Betty's advice and make a break for it while he could. Using a rhinoceros as a launching pad and his wings for an extra boost, he flew across the room, flipping in a kind of sideways somersault about half way to plant a quick kiss on Betty's cheek while passing by. On the other side of the room he hit the floor running while calling back 'You were great!' and simultaneously opening the door. He then entered the basement where he kept up the pace, ascending the stair on the other side and through the next door into the library. Not bothering to stop for a formal introduction, but said a quick hello to a strange man wandering aimlessly in burnt long johns before exiting the next door to see Chisille ravaging Renard - who was for some reason now dressed in a golden coat - and some other guy laying bleeding on the floor. It was quite a bloody mess to say the least, but Ariel didn't have time to stop and ask questions. Taking another leap, he managed to say 'Hi' to both Chisille and Renard as he flew by overhead, down the stairs, and out the next door.
After Ariel does his implausible twisty duda thing in the air kissing Betty on his way out the bedroom, a whole lota commotion takes place between Betty and Ezmond - Spells are being cast and all sorts of mumbo jumbo is just being shot out all over the place. The whole thing is just so gosh darn nasty that all the animals start running around scared and hollering and stuff. So at one point Betty casts a spell she ain't never done before, and all the animals end up outside. Now there's a whole bunch of animals from all around the world running free in the streets of Waise.
Like someone might suspect, Ezmond was going pretty easy on Betty because she wasn't as powerful as he was, and because she was his daughter he really didn't want to kill her, even though he really wanted to... IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE! Anyway, eventually, being that Ezmond had it in his head that Betty had lost her mind because of her love for Ariel, he decides to whip up an old 'Mind Stabilization' spell. Now as you might expect, this spell is designed to snap anyone out whatever crazy frame of mind they are in and make them think normally again. But wouldn't you gosh darn well know it to be truth - when Ezmond cast that spell at Betty, Betty dived out of the way and the spell hit little Chissy when she entered the room right at that moment!
When the spell hit Chissy, it had no choice but to expel whatever was possessing her so that Chissy could get back to her normal way of thinking. And just like that, whatever Order freak influence was inside of her was cast out and Chissy came back to her senses again.
But that isn't all! When Betty picks herself up off the floor and sees her little dragon friend standing their all bruised and bleeding, she almost has a blazing fit! Thinking for a split second that Ezmond caused the injuries, Betty throws another one of them spells at Ezmond, like the one she used on the animals earlier, and just like that Ezmond wasn't in the room anymore! He was standing in the Library instead.
Meanwhile back in the bedroom, Betty is screaming at the top of her lungs because of the mess that her little baby dragon is in.
"WHO IN ALL OF GOSH DARN TARNATIONS HURT MY LITTLE BABY DRAGON! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!"
Right after yelling that, and a bunch of other stuff I'm not allowed to say, Betty runs over to Chissy and gets down on the floor beside her and, whether she likes it or not, she pulls that dragon into her lap and cradles her in her arms like a big ol baby, rocking her back and forth and telling her everything is gonna be ok in a really soothing voice.
Back down in the library, Ezmond sees a very strange man with his face buried in the corner of the room.

Chislle had wandered into the room with Betty and Ezmond inside as they were slinging spells and other things that could be called spells but were not. She initially had absolutely no reason to stay inside, being very much still full of rage while on her little mission. Even when she saw Betty move about she felt no reason to go over to her and greet her. However before she could wander over to the next door to continue her endless march through the house, a bolt of magic headed straight for her, having missed it's intended target when they dodged out of the way.
As soon as Chisille was struck, she felt a wave of magic wash through her. The feelings she had been forced to feel or abandon due to both the influence of the order and Revel's fearless spell were gracefully dispelled from her mind. Her true emotions had some trouble filling the void that was left inside her as she stopped still at the entrance to the room. At first, she didn't know what to feel. All she could do was stand there while Betty furiously banished her father from the room.
Then the fatigue of her actions set in. The pain she was feeling finally being felt, both physically and emotionally. Slowly and shakily she rose a front paw and looked down at it, covered in the blood of the people she had attacked. Sure she was used to killing various creatures in the wild to survive, but killing someone in cold blood, even if it wasn't really her fault, filled her with guilt.
The guilt then turned into worry over what all the others would think when Faux returned to them, telling them all about what he had seen her do to poor Fin. The worry turned into fear when she figured they would all be incredibly furious and attempt to get their revenge for what she had done. There was no way she was going to be able to convince them that it wasn't her fault she did what she did.
The feelings piled up in her system, the pain and the tiredness causing her to be unable to continue standing as it overwhelmed her. She collapsed to the floor, groaning when she hit the ground as Betty rushed to her aid after yelling out something that she hadn't listened to. Suddenly she was being grabbed and pulled towards the farm girl, brought into an embrace while being gently rocked about in her arms. She made no objections at all to this, being too consumed by her situation instead.
"What have I... done..." she muttered as she felt the darkness swirl about within her before it finally took her away from the waking world. Betty felt her go limp as she passed out in her arms.
When Ariel sees Renard enter the kitchen, he was taken by two instant emotions. The first one being of gladness that Renard wasn't the beast he was expecting to appear from the looming nature of what he was feeling. The second was being completely and utterly horrified by seeing Betty dead in his arms. At first he figured Renard would have a reasonable explanation to this, but when he heard Renard claim responsibility for killing her due to jealousy, Ariel just... lost it....
- Ariel hadn't had a lot of practice keeping his new human array of emotions under control, since he had only been in human form for a day, and because of this the emotional horror didn't for a moment allow him to stop and consider that Renard's knowledge of the affair between Ariel and Betty didn't make any sense. After all, it was only a little while ago that Ariel saw Renard in the hallway fighting Chisille. Not to mention the oddity of knowing that there could have barely been enough time for Betty to finish fighting her dad and then manage to meet up with Renard, tell him about what happened, and subsequently get murdered by him -
Logic seemed to be damned by a flooding of despair and rage in the moment he heard Renard speak those casual words; 'I had to, Ariel, she was meant to be mine. But don’t worry… you’ll be joining her soon'. In that moment of overwhelming emotion, Ariel wanted nothing but to have him pay for what he had done, and raising his sword with intent to kill, he screamed out some unmentionable cussing and charged at Renard.
Boris was confused when he made out the form of Jack standing in the night beside his bed. He'd never been approached by a man while in bed before, then again, he'd never been approached by a woman either. But when he heard Jack speak, it became perfectly clear why Jack was their. History was once again repeating itself; Jack was like all the rest. He hated Boris, and wanted nothing more than to hurt him. With this realization in mind, Boris made a sorrowful groan, knowing he had lost his only friend - but moving fast, Jacks sword only hit the bed as Boris rolled from his position and onto his on the floor.
With the bed between himself and Jack, Boris drew his bone as a tear ran down his cheek.
"Why you want to hurt Boris, Mr. Jack? Why you make Boris' heart hurt?" Boris' voice then became bitter with rage as he raised Revel Yell - "BORIS NEVER DID NOTHING WRONG TO YOU, MR. JACK!!!"
With a big stride, Boris jumped on the bed and came down with an overhead swing at Jack's head.
In a peculiar moment, Buttons discovers himself alone in the dining room. The event seems… ambiguous, rendering him uncertain as to whether those with him had vanished, or if he had simply missed the moment when they exited via the door.
Lifting his head from nibbling a flea, Buttons looks around to find he'd been deserted. He lets out a long sigh and groans a little...
"Yeah, that'll be about right. Don't mind me, I'm just a cat...."
Feeling like maybe he should go look for the others, he walks to the door where he then stops and drops back in a seated position, regarding the door handle with a defeated stare.
Trixie narrows her eyes at the hooded man. She picks up a chair and hurls it in his direction. She ran around for a little, being careful not to be near his blade. A fiery orange fireball forms in her hand and she sends it flying in his direction. She starts forming another.

Sluggy, still on Trixie's shoulder, was screaming in terror as Orson started his attack, which would have sounded more like a small high pitched squeal because Sluggy's small size.
"Don't let him harm your perfect body, my sweet! Throw another chair! Use another fireball! Kick him in the balls! Knock the dagger out of his hand! Trixie, don't let him cut me in half - my life is already pathetic enough!!"
Ei turns around once she hears the sound, and watches as Annie emerges, stunned by her new appearance. It takes her a few seconds to get used to Annie’s knew look, but she soon rushes over to embrace Annie.
"The vision, was it true? The child, is it ours?"
Annie holds Ei, caressing her back affectionately to put her at ease, whispering gently in her ear.
“You need not worry anymore…. And yes, you are going to be a mother.”
Stepping back, she keeps a hand in Ei’s while waves the other dismissively. In so doing, the furniture slides gratingly across the floor to allow access to the door. Of peculiar interest, Annie is now clothed in her grey robe as she smiles, winking playfully for Ei.
“Let’s go kill some Drones.” She then pauses, as though analyzing her own thoughts, then regards Ei with an evocative narrowing of her eyes; “That is, if we can find our way around this mansion?” She grins, pleased with the lengths Ei had gone to in preventing the Order from finding her, but no less making the obvious suggestion that the mansion be returned to its previous outlay for the hunt to commence.
As Jack turns, continuing to look for a source of the malevolent feeling, he notices that everyone else has suddenly vanished. He quickly turns, scanning the entire room. "Guys?" Given the scope of the room, and where they had been standing, the others couldn't have just left that fast... could they? He raises the shield in one hand and Magebuster in the other, entering a defensive stance. "But I didn't come this far to die now! I don't want to fight you, so stand down, because I won't go down without one!"
Boris moved with surprising speed and agility for a man of his robust structure, but he pays Jack’s rebuke seemingly no mind at all as he recovers from his futile swing. Behind the teary exterior of his face, a certain cold emptiness can be seen in Boris’ glare as he continues his attack, spinning Revel Yell and stepping forth in one fast movement to thrust its pointed end into Jack’s midsection.
Maras seems perfectly content by Silas’ abdication. There is to now notice a suspicious cold emptiness in Maras’ glare, as he thrusts the spear hard at Silas’ neck.
Trixie narrows her eyes at the hooded man. She picks up a chair and hurls it in his direction. She ran around for a little, being careful not to be near his blade. A fiery orange fireball forms in her hand and she sends it flying in his direction. She starts forming another.
As Trixie attempts to dodge Orson’s slashing blade, the fire launched in her defense fizzles to nothing on contact with his dry clothing…. It is clear, as Orson continues his attack, that he is not what he appears to be.

With a big stride, Boris jumped on the bed and came down with an overhead swing at Jack's head.
Gripped with one hand, and apparently not feeling the need for his shield, Jack raises Magebusted to block Boris’ overhead attack with incredible ease. Jack laughs as though mocking the large man’s efforts, while he raises one leg and proceeds to kick Boris across the room.
"Hmm..."
As the kitten stares defeated up at the door handle, he hears a scuffled sound behind him. It is unmistakably the familiar sound of faltered footsteps, belonging to no other than Bob. The soulless man had somehow appeared in the dining room, staggering toward Buttons and raising his foot with apparent intent to crush the cat.
Lyudmila wakes from her sleep in the dining room. As she attempt to pull herself free from her groggy condition, she notices that most of the people from the dinner had departed, leaving her all alone with only one other, Revel.
Revel is standing over her, gripping the neck of a broken bottle in hand, glaring with a grin of anticipated satisfaction.
“Now, let’s see if I can’t carve up that pretty face of yours.”
With these words spoken, Revel swings the bottle at Lyudmila’s face.
Maras looks around the room, confused.
"I don't know, so stay close." Maras says, as he reaches out to pull Ezra up onto his feet.
"Let's explore, hope we find some of the others." He says, as he approaches the nearest door and opens it.
Ezra nods in thanks for the assistance Maras granted, yet also for the approval of his suggestion.
“Indeed, My Better, I will follow wherever you go.”
Ezra takes one step behind Maras, holding loosely to his elbow as he leads their way out the door.

As Chisille succumbs to sleep, Betty only then notices the strange presence in the room. That which had been expelled from Chisille, is now quietly standing nearby.
The entity can be seen as obscurely human; having no eyes, no nose, no fingers, no distinctive features aside that of its hazy humanoid form. Its entire compositions appears to be like that of translucent grey mist, fused with a loose network of thin scarlet veins.
Retaining its silence, it raises one arm in a slighted and dubious endeavor to regard the dragon in Betty’s arms.

Betty thinks poor little Chissy died for a second, but then when she hears her all kinda breathing like a someone just sleeping, she feel an enormous amount of relief. So she keeps on rocking her gently in her lap and humming soft lullabies and other calming tunes that might help her stay asleep. Maybe lil bub would be fortunate enough to have nice dreams or something like that.
But gosh dammit! When Betty notices the dark freakazoid misty man standing there and pointing at her poor little dragon friend, she is filled completely with rage, so much so that she feels like she’s gonna explode! But not wanting to disturb Chissy, she doesn’t get up to face the presence or anything like that. She just lifts one arm and points back at the freak while she whispers really quiet like, being really careful not to wake up Chissy, and say’n;
“Ohhhh…. No… You… Don’t…!”
Now, it must have been all the excitement of what happened over the last hour or so, combined with that anger so big she ain’t never felt anything like it before, that caused all the suppressed power inside Betty to wake up and smell the coffee! Because right there and then, while pointing at that freakazoid fella, a long line of something, kinda like a burning hot length of barbed wire from back on the farm, shot out from Betty’s finger. That baking hot line of barbed wires then spun faster than you can shake a stick as it wrapped itself around that freakazoind and tightened its grip, causing the freak to burst into flames and disappear in a puff of smoke! Luckily enough, the whole thing happened really quiet like as well, so lil Chissy didn’t get woken up.
“So, how do like them apples?!” Betty whispered.
After that, Betty kept rocking her lil baby dragon in her arms while humming sweet melodies to help her keep sleeping.
Bob doesn't seem to acknowledge Ezmond's arrival, he just keeping moving his legs as if trying to walk through the wall.
Back down in the library, Ezmond introduces himself to the strange guy trying to walk through the wall, but not getting any response he walks on over and taps the weirdo on the shoulder.
“Well, excuse me, young man, but I don’t really see the point of what you might be doing there. By the way, your long johns are all burnt and your bum crack is showing. Really might wanna find some new clothes if you don’t mind my humble opinion at all.”
Fin considered the offer for a moment. Another chance at life.... To right my wrongs. To be with HER. He then looked warily at the hooded person once again. "What... What would I have to do in order to regain my life, Mr.....?"
The figure again chuckles.
"My name doesn't matter to you. As for what you would have to do..."
The figur bends over forward to loom over Fin, staring down at him while the hood obscures his face, if he has one that is, even at this angle.
"Having you do a single task is way too good of a deal to justify. Instead, I seek someone who I can call on at any given time if I need them to do something for me. You see, if I were to act directly upon the world, I would draw too much attention to myself. Someone like you however, would not."
"So, to recap, I do not have a single task I want you to do, instead I will have several. If you agree, you are to obey my orders, or face the consequences. Outside of that, I'll leave you alone so you can go about your new life in peace."
"Do we have a deal, or would you rather spend your time here?"
As the figure finishes it's sentence, the scenery changes again. The clouds turn black while the sky turns red. The endless ocean turns into a sea of flames, with Fin and the figure standing in a clearing while the fire slowly creeps closer and closer inwards.
Ei smiles and nods at Annie's suggestion. "Yes, let's go." she says, while clenching her fist. As she does so, a wave of energy erupts from where she is standing, rippling through the building as it's distorted state reverts back to how it used to be, followed by an eerie silence as all sources of light grow dim.
"I do hope you don't mind the darkness, but I quite like it being dark."
It takes a second for Lyudmila to realise what is going on, but she doesn't waste a second to roll out of the way of the swing, and under the table.
"How much have you been drinking, Revel? If I have to set your face on fire to get you to sober up I will!"
Ezra nods in thanks for the assistance Maras granted, yet also for the approval of his suggestion.
“Indeed, My Better, I will follow wherever you go.”
Ezra takes one step behind Maras, holding loosely to his elbow as he leads their way out the door.
Maras opens the door, and sees something he didn't expect. Of all the things that could possibly be on the other side of the door that used to lead the main hallway, it's the hallway. Even though the hallway is a lot darker than it used to be thanks to what happened to the lights, Maras apparently doesn't struggle to see in the darkness, opening the door across the hallway to find the sitting room.
"It seems that the mansion is back to normal, which would mean that Lady Ei is done with what she was doing upstairs. I think she'll be downstairs soon."

As Silas mutters something about Annie and a child, Maras looks at him with suspicion for some reason.
"Tell us more. Now."
Chisille opens the door, goes through it, and arrives in the same room where she left her cookies, back when she started her rampage.
Trixie sighed slightly at what he said and nodded. "I kinda doubt Ei and Annie are up to something....from what I've heard the robed figures seem to be worse than them." she said to Jack, quietly. She was on guard now.

She opens her arms, welcoming Ei’s embrace.

“Where… where have the others gone?”

Maras mutters something along the lines of 'That's something she needs to know', but doesn't respond to Silas.
Are you interested in hearing my proposal, or would you rather... pass on?"
Ei turns around once she hears the sound, and watches as Annie emerges, stunned by her new appearance. It takes her a few seconds to get used to Annie’s knew look, but she soon rushes over to embrace Annie.
"The vision, was it true? The child, is it ours?"
Maras looks around the room, confused.
"I don't know, so stay close." Maras says, as he reaches out to pull Ezra up onto his feet.
"Let's explore, hope we find some of the others." He says, as he approaches the nearest door and opens it.
Fin considered the offer for a moment. Another chance at life.... To right my wrongs. To be with HER. He then looked warily at the hooded person once again. "What... What would I have to do in order to regain my life, Mr.....?"

Jack thinks about what Silas is saying, taking a moment to come to a few potential conclusions. He offers no commentary on the subject.
"I agree. Whatever's going on, I suspect they have more to do with the occurrences in this mansion- and this town in general- than either Annie or Ei do."

Meet Ashen the shoulder dragon!
"Hmm..."
Bob doesn't seem to acknowledge Ezmond's arrival, he just keeping moving his legs as if trying to walk through the wall.
Maras seems perfectly content by Silas’ abdication. There is to now notice a suspicious cold emptiness in Maras’ glare, as he thrusts the spear hard at Silas’ neck.
As Trixie attempts to dodge Orson’s slashing blade, the fire launched in her defense fizzles to nothing on contact with his dry clothing…. It is clear, as Orson continues his attack, that he is not what he appears to be.
Gripped with one hand, and apparently not feeling the need for his shield, Jack raises Magebusted to block Boris’ overhead attack with incredible ease. Jack laughs as though mocking the large man’s efforts, while he raises one leg and proceeds to kick Boris across the room.
Retaining its silence, it raises one arm in a slighted and dubious endeavor to regard the dragon in Betty’s arms.
.............................................................................
But gosh dammit! When Betty notices the dark freakazoid misty man standing there and pointing at her poor little dragon friend, she is filled completely with rage, so much so that she feels like she’s gonna explode! But not wanting to disturb Chissy, she doesn’t get up to face the presence or anything like that. She just lifts one arm and points back at the freak while she whispers really quiet like, being really careful not to wake up Chissy, and say’n;
It takes a second for Lyudmila to realise what is going on, but she doesn't waste a second to roll out of the way of the swing, and under the table.
"How much have you been drinking, Revel? If I have to set your face on fire to get you to sober up I will!"
