Jack nods. "I see. And unless he's moved on to something else, he was fighting the... robed figures outside. But, since one appeared in the Foyer, I'd guess that would mean they've found their way into the mansion, so that may not be the case anymore."
"Ah, I see. But yes, I think he's in the house too now, though he's... preoccupied with things so he won't make it to dinner for now."
Lyudmila says as she starts eating again, occasionally drinking some wine.
Revel chuckles a little, moderately happy for his little game, and transmits a little thought to Jack and Mila. Jack and Mila can hear the thoughts undeniably as Revel's voice.
Poor kid is terrified of giant rats. And just for an instant, while hearing this, Jack and Lyudmila catch a glimpse of Fin's point of view.
Lyudmila chuckles as she realises what Revel is doing, she could appreciate humour like that.
The dark figures become unsettled. They seem… disturbed by something Ei has specifically mentioned. Upon the completion of Ei’s testimony, the soul, who has probably been chosen as a mediator for the sake of more fluent communication with Ei, scowls as though pained by the disappointment she is forced to endure by the intercession of the Orders reaction.
“No…. you don’t understand. There is nothing you can offer of any interest to them.” The soul now speaks as though fearing for her own wellbeing, that maybe the repercussions of failing in her task to be mediator for the Order, would be worse than the torture of hell she had already endured. “Please help me… please do what they ask. You don’t understand what they’ll do to me if I fai – “ Quite abruptly, the soul throws her head back in obvious pain as the Order retakes full control of her once more. With her tone being what it was prior to Ei’s response, she looks at Ei to speak again under the Orders possession.
“You claim that the child is busy. You’re words indicates that she is now unable to fend for herself…. We therefore assume that she has commenced her transformation. But this should not be the case…. Her time has not yet come….”
Although the soul has been restrained of any control of the words she now speaks, Ei can clearly see the fear behind her eyes as a tear of blood comes forth. But now speaking with the words of the Order, there is an undeniable dreaded contempt to her tone:
“What have you done…? Only one with child can undergo the transformation before their time…. No…. The child has beguiled you by means greater than we had anticipated…. You… do not know… what you have done. It is clear to us now, because of the harlot’s heart that pumps lust within your chest, that we are already too late. You are weak. You have been seduced by the child’s own desire to escape us, your emotional inadequacies have served only as a puppet to her will. The child and her unborn must DIE!”
The mediating soul, knowing that in her failure she is now to suffer a fate worse than hell, is dragged back screaming across the floor towards the dark embrace of the Order. As she is being dragged back, Ei watches her features change to that of a face Ei did not recognize. They were in fact a young man, apparently chosen at random to be mediator for the order, a young man that now stretches out his hand for Ei to save him while he screams in a voice that pierces the mansion and all of Waise with the sound of unimaginable terror.
Ei tilts her head curiously at the soul's plea, listening to it with interest yet showing no interest in complying. Then, the Order takes control again, and Ei's curious expression is replaced by a shocked one.
"One... with child?" Ei seems confused for a second. "But then... that means that..."
As the Order finish their monologue, a smile settles on Ei's face.
"If what you say is true. If she is indeed with child, then you can wave goodbye to your hopes of getting to Annie. Before the only reason I had for protecting her was that she is my friend, but now you just gave me several extra reasons."
As the young man is being dragged away, Ei grabs his wrist, and speaks, her voice twisted and echoing throughout the room.
"The mistress has given her verdict. You are to be sentenced to death by fire."
As Ei finishes her sentence, the room shakes and twists, and the figures find themselves in the basement as white-hot flames start filling the room, rapidly spreading. The young man meanwhile is still in the same room, all alone as Ei too has vanished.
Meanwhile, up in the attic, Ei is once again sitting next to Annie, curiously watching her.
"So, you are with child, huh?"
"Phew... that really was frightening," says Faux, breathing a sigh of relief as he walks through the archway. "I really thought you'd abandoned™ me..."
Rubbing his sore eyes from all the steam in the previous room, he briefly looks around, taking in unfamiliar and familiar faces alike. The food was no special sight; he was born into nobility, after all. Suddenly, his eyes light up with a twinge of recognition as he spots a girl in typical witch attire.
Without a word, Faux quickly dashes up to her and leans in closely, inspecting her.
"Hm... I see, I see... That's it! I know you! You're that girl he likes!"
To Lyudmila, the boy looks almost like Renard, though much younger to the point where he is somehow considerably shorter than her. His black cape is missing, and he seems to be strangely donning a full-length golden-coloured coat with a hood, which looks more like some sort of organisation uniform than casual attire.
"It's nice to meet you," he says, slightly forcefully taking one of her hands and shaking it with both of his. "I'm Faux Ambrose! The best engineer in the world!"
Lyudmila looks curiously at Faux.
"The girl he likes? Who even are you...?" Lyudmila says, as she looks at Faux, rather confused at his apparent knowledge of someone liking her.
"Wait, you look... familiar. Are you Renard's younger brother or something?"
Lyudmila looks curiously at Faux.

"Wait, you look... familiar. Are you Renard's younger brother or something?"
Faux seems to ponder this for a second, before smiling.
"Hm... the mind's a wonderful thing, isn't it~?" he cryptically wonders out loud.
He opens his mouth to say something else before an excruciating sound is heard piercing the entire room, and he instead clutches at his ears.
"Ouch...! Where's that coming from?"

Lyudmila sighs at Faux cryptic response, she didn't really like people being cryptic.
"That? Oh I think it's those cultist guys, they've been nothing but trouble really."

"Mm... how do I say this... He's me, but I'm still me. I'm him, but he's still him. Of course, it's a riddle for the greatest of engineers," he says, shrugging as he takes the nearest available seat.
"Oh, I think I came across one of those guys! Y'know, I thought he was cool, but actually, nah, not really, he was being more cryptic than me just now, and that wasn't cool, and, oh, man, if I was just like Ren, I woulda brought out my sword all 'schwing!'-like and, just, y'know, 'BOOM!'-- slash through 'em, get 'em in one hit, and be like 'You're already dead'! Just like that."
Faux, immediately after this outburst, starts stuffing his face with food.
Chisille found herself running through a forest. The trees twisted in extremely strange ways around her as she ran, more then a few times she had to jump over or weave under some of them. They looked more like wooden snakes writhing in pain rather then trees. She knew this place all too well, it all seemed so familiar... Also, why was she running again?
A loud crashing noise came from behind her. Oh yeah. That was why. Something was chasing after her. So why didn't she bother to start running again? It was after her and would very likely catch up to her in a few seconds. There was just something different... and the same about all of this that surrounded her.
Then she remembered. She remembered it happened last night. This all happened in a dream. One where she ran and ran until she slowed down exhausted, then she got caught so easily. Like she wasn't even able to resist letting herself die. She had remembered pleading which that which was after her, but to no avail. This time... this time was different. She felt different. She didn't feel scared, even if she wanted to.
And then a sharp lance of pain surged through her side as if she had been struck by a sharp blade. "Not this again..." she mumbled after tumbling over from the impact. She looked up at the thing that had been chasing her. Yes, it looked exactly like it did in her previous dream. A giant, blood red version of her formed out of a great mass of misty cloud, never quite settling it's shape. This time however, she saw what it was doing as she wasn't so busy running. Where she was struck her blood trickled out, as normal for a wound, however as soon as a drop had left her body it floated over to to the larger Chisille's paw, drip by drip, forming a sphere she had seen before.
The larger version of herself grinned maliciously, as if it had enjoyed how she had given up so easily. Chisille however was irritated by this display. "What in the name of my flames do you want??" she growled up at herself. The larger Chisille lowered it's grin slightly and leaned in closer and closer. Chisille would've backed away, except the orb in the larger Chisille's paw started to glow like before, her legs refusing to move. Her entire body once again refused to obey her. The larger Chisille brought her mouth right up to her ear, and whispered something into it. "W...what?" is all Chisille could say in response, because...

The scream caused her to wake up again. This was the second time this night she had been disturbed from her sleep now. She grumbled awake, being tired the main concern that she had. "Stupid scream. Wake me..." she spat to herself, sighing as she now knew for sure she wasn't going to get any proper rest in this place. With not much else to do, she tried to figure what she had just dreamt about, and what it meant.

"Phew... that really was frightening," says Faux, breathing a sigh of relief as he walks through the archway.
Revel smiles as the archway closes again behind Faux. "Glad you finally decided to join us, equally glad that you are better looking and less depressed than the last time we met. Help yourself to whatever you want."
Fin splutters for a moment before replying. "WHAT ELSE COULD THIS BE?! You say that like giant talking rats are normal!"
"WELL, little mr. rat, my name happens to be Fin, as HE," Fin points at Revel. "Happens to know somehow."
The giant rat(Revel) spoke up again, saying, "I know, I can be petty at times. Put it down to boredom, I guess. Would you like a refill Jack, maybe a different kind of beverage this time?" He then turned to Fin, smiling in a way that would make every dairy farmer run and hide. "And how about yourself, Fin? Name your poison."
Fin stared at him for a moment, before yelling, "I DO NOT WANT A DRINK!! I WANT to know what in the king's name is going on here!" In his rage, he threw his Eight-ball at one of the walls, from which it bounced around for a bit before hitting off the head of the giant rat(Revel) that had brought him there, and going back to him where Fin caught it with practiced ease.
"Suit yourself." Revel replies, "Let me know if you change your mind. And please stop all the yelling, it really is unmannerly."
When the ball suddenly strikes him in the head, not hurting him at all, his eyes follow its course around the room until it makes its way back to Fin's hand, and then revel shakes his head disappointingly.
"That's not a ball," He says, holding up a wrecking ball with the number 8 painted on the side, "This is a ball."
Revel then hurls the wrecking ball at Fin, sending him crashing through several walls of the mansion. When he miraculously wakes up on the floor of the dining room a minute or so later, finding no evidence that he was ever actually hit with an enormous concrete ball, he will see that the giant rats are gone and have been replaced by the actual dinner guests.
The longer Bob just stumbled around the room ignoring Chisille's aggressive stance, the angrier she got. It was bad enough he had bashed into her, the fact that he didn't seem to care was just insulting. Her tail twitched angrily as her spike threatened to lash out at him, but she had a better idea. The smoke that was rising from her nose turned into full fire inside her belly and shot out from her mouth, arcing towards Bob. The flames lap at his back which would be rather painful to anyone who could actually react to it.
Even this did not get the damn human to leave her presence, so it was probably in her best interest to not push this issue any further. Scare one away, yes. Outright kill them for waking her up... maybe. Kill them while other humans who somewhat trusted her were around? No. She didn't want to draw aggro to herself.
Spitting out a cloud of soot out of spite, she huffed and turned her back, grabbing her bucket along the way and reached a door out of the room. With another door opened she walked through and slammed it shut with her tail, producing a very audible BANG. Looking around the place, she finds herself in the living room that she had met Ariel inside. This place was more what she was looking for, though the main lounge was missing from before except the cushions. Mysterious!
Dragging whatever comfort items she could find in this room into a corner, she set her bucket down right down in the middle of it, then curled around it, hiding her snout under the spike of her tail and setting one of her wings down over the bucket. Chisille was still irritated after being disturbed, but sleep was calling. Soon she drifted off into the dream world again.
Chisille's attack leaves Bob's long john pajamas's, which had already had been turned into shorts from the earlier fire in the mansion, with the back burnt out, and what would have usually been to any responsive person, a rather red and sore looking burn mark on his back.

*Groan* Fin woke up and looked around at the place he was in, a dining room by the looks of it, with a strange group of people sitting around a table eating. How did I get here? Last thing I remember was... His eyes immediately shot wide open, and he launched himself to his feet looking around at the now-rat-free dining room, and the people there. While they didn't look like rats, they were all in the positions that the previous rats that were there were in, even a small slug on the shoulder of a girl in the room.
Fin stood there, taking it all in for a moment, before proceeding to turn around, and walk towards an exit he sees. "I give up! This town is definitely crazy. I'll just find someplace to sleep..." But just as he reached the door and was about to exit, his stomach cried out in complaint. Groaning he turns back to the table, marches over, and pulls out the seat he had been sitting in previously.
"Fine, I'll stay for dinner." He said to the person who was now in place of the rat who had brought him there. He reached over the bowl from before and grabbed one of the chicken legs from in the middle of the table. "But don't expect me to eat any cheese."
Trixie continues eating up. Getting her fill of the food. She stops upon getting full, and does a little burp at that, she makes a small little illusion of herself, sitting on Revel's shoulder. Trixie plugs her ears as a scream of sorts is heard, wondering what it was and being worried.

Jack glances around the room as he sees what Revel has done. As Revel asks about his drink, he responds, "Sure, Revel. As for what..." he considers briefly before shrugging and continuing, "You know what? Surprise me."
Fin splutters for a moment before replying. "WHAT ELSE COULD THIS BE?! You say that like giant talking rats are normal!"
Jack just looks at Fin for a moment before turning back to his food, pouring some gravy onto some of his potatoes as he states, "And you say that like anything in this town is normal."
"Ah, I see. But yes, I think he's in the house too now, though he's... preoccupied with things so he won't make it to dinner for now."
Lyudmila says as she starts eating again, occasionally drinking some wine.
"A shame. He's missing out." Jack eats the potatoes that are now soaked with gravy.

Silas starts eating his meal, getting twice the normal portion that people would eat. He then eats the portion many times as fast as everyone else, finishing the meal while everyone else was only halfway done. Then he gets another portion, and starts eating again, sloppily but speedily. He does not seem to care about what is going on. Even the piercing scream only fazes him for a moment, before he scrunches up his face, shuts off his hearing, then he eats some more without a care in the world.

"Don't worry," revel smiles, sucking on an olive, "I actually expect very little from you." He swallows the olive and pops in another. Trixie suddenly loses all her clothing, sitting completely naked in her seat at the table.
"Revel really likes his space so uh... you know what to do to get your clothing back, right?"
Sluggy, now sitting on Trixie's naked shoulder released a long pleasurable gurgling sound, eyes drooping with ecstasy as he turns to look at Revel. "Thank you sooooo much."
"No problem, kid! Now have some food, you're the only one not eating. Anything specific you'd like to eat?"
Sluggy is too taken by Trixie's new look that he seems to have not heard the question.
Jack glances around the room as he sees what Revel has done. As Revel asks about his drink, he responds, "Sure, Revel. As for what..." he considers briefly before shrugging and continuing, "You know what? Surprise me."
"Surprise you?" Revel laughs, and gives Jack a friendly fist shove to the shoulder "A man after my own heart." He points at the very well aged bottle of red that Lyudmila is drinking from. "This is the greatest drop of red ever drunk by any drinker that's drunk a good a drop - or!" He produces another tall bottle, slamming it down on the table next Jack. "You can try this fine brew right here. But you know what, why not try both?" The label on the new bottle next Jack, reads:
Silas starts eating his meal, getting twice the normal portion that people would eat. Revel takes a moment to smile for Silas, very pleased with the new Will he had going on there. It was turning out just the way Revel had hoped. He couldn't wait to see Silas's reaction when he found out the rest....
Meanwhile, Buttons finally finishes his plate of grilled fish. He looks around for a saucer of milk, and to no real surprise one appeared there for him. The milk was warm, sweet, and pretty much tasted like the finest melted vanilla ice cream ever. It didn't take him long to finish lapping it up, before he gives his butt a good lick, cleans his face with his paws, then relaxes on his side, propped up on one front leg as he looks around contently. Before long, a drawn out squeaking sound is heard, followed by an eye-watering vile smell that wafts through the dining room.

Faux looks wistfully at the ceiling, pinching his nose as he does so.
Ren... you're lucky. Eating grub... sleeping, laughing, crying. Sometimes arguing. That's the kind of life I fought desperately for
His sword continues to bob up and down quietly on the floor behind him. He goes back to eating his meal, though a wry smile forms at the mild chaos erupting at the table.

Sluggy is too taken by Trixie's new look that he seems to have not heard the question.
Jack briefly glances at Trixie as she loses her clothes, more out of a natural reaction to a sudden change than any particular interest in looking at her in that state. He doesn't say anything about it as he turns his focus back to his food, continuing to eat.
'SHINE
Uncle Revel's Cinnamon Brandy
Guaranteed to make your beam gleam!'
"Think I'll start with your brew. Sounds... interesting." He takes the bottle, looking over it for a brief moment before downing some of its contents. Taking a moment to take in its flavor, he is about to tell Revel that he likes it when it begins to have a reaction with him; whether it was the alcohol, the spice of the cinnamon, or something else in the drink, he can feel the fire magic that flows within him grow in intensity, as though the alcohol had served as a fuel for its flames. He feels stronger as a result, and while his body itself doesn't change much visually, his exposed skin begins to exhibit a very faint red glow.
Meanwhile, Buttons finally finishes his plate of grilled fish. He looks around for a saucer of milk, and to no real surprise one appeared there for him. Before long, a drawn out squeaking sound is heard, followed by an eye-watering vile smell that wafts through the dining room.
"Sorry. My bad."
Fortunately for Jack, the sensation of the cinnamon brandy filling him drowns out any of the scent released by Buttons.

Fin looked at him for a little before continuing to eat, gnawing the chicken bone, before reaching for some exotic red fruit that had a green rind. It actually tasted very sweet and watery, quite good in fact.
As Fin finished that up, he finally spoke again. "Fine... I'll introduce myself. My name, as you already know probably, is Fin Nix. I hail from an island west of here. ((I assume that this is somewhere in Europe, and that it's not in Britain, the place I'm implying he's from.)) I came to this town because of rumor's of strange happenings, a town quarantined for witch-craft and black magic. I assume that some of those rumor's might be because of you?" He emphasized this by pointing at Revel.

Fin quickly averts his eyes from the scene, seeing as it was very improper for a man to look upon a woman when she was... 'Exposed'.

After hearing something loud in her head she immediately opened her eyes. She doesn't remember anything that happened before... how did she end up in the middle of the desert? It's dark and cold. As she was walking, she tried hard to remember how she got here in the first place. A bright light, and someone, who is that... Allie tries to remember what she saw before, but it's not working. It seems as if something or someone is trying to block a chunk of her memory.

Somehow Allie notices a large tree, maybe she thought she would climb it to look for a way in. What she doesn't notice is that the tree is fragile, because it's a dead tree, and the branches are falling off... After falling off a tree and landing inside the walls of the city, Allie decided it's probably a good idea to take note of surroundings first before acting.
So quiet here... Allie thought. She wonders where everyone is.
While Chisille contemplates her dream, she is overcome by a familiar presence of another that dwells within. Again this presence is commanding, overriding her will, yet this time the dweller within does not endow Chisille with the previous sensation of benign calm. Chisille is instead filled with incredible bitterness and rage, longing for vengeance for all the suffering she has ever endured, accompanied with the insatiable longing for the blood of retribution. Her new, malicious desire to kill abrogates any logic and focuses on a specific individual, the one she had been made aware of on the previous occasion. The one named Annie. As Chisille is filled with this immense hatred and rage for this child, the presence within her speaks its undeniable command:
Chisille's attack leaves Bob's long john pajamas's, which had already had been turned into shorts from the earlier fire in the mansion, with the back burnt out, and what would have usually been to any responsive person, a rather red and sore looking burn mark on his back.
Simply by chance in the magical maze that Ei had created, one of the seven dark figures exit a portal in the library.
Upon their arrival, Bob, who had previously been placed under a type of spell by Annie herself, and is currently lodged in his frivolous stagger in the corner of the library, stops. He turns. He is standing perfectly upright with dignity, clarity in his now fiery eyes as he looks upon the dark figure.
In response, the dark figure appears disturbed by Bob’s sudden change of behavior. Without turning away, they begin their retreat, floating backward to distance themselves from this soulless man. However, Bob quickly extends his arms to both sides, and in so doing his rib cage cracks open like a doorway to release an awaiting creature from within. The dark figure has not time to escape as the creature, something of a black, ghostly image of a man, though adorned with spiraled flaming horns, demonic wings, and screeching like the spawn of hell, flies at great speed to commence its assault. Subsequently, the dark figure is seized by the powerful limbs of the demonic spirit, and ripped apart in the force of a brutal thrashing.
The many severed parts of the Dark Figure dissolve into the air. The demon retreats to the confines of Bob's chest, while then Bob, as his chest seals shut, returns to his former state of… aimless wanderings.
"Ah, I see. But yes, I think he's in the house too now, though he's... preoccupied with things so he won't make it to dinner for now."
Lyudmila says as she starts eating again, occasionally drinking some wine.
Lyudmila chuckles as she realises what Revel is doing, she could appreciate humour like that.
To the Orders disappointment, they have lost containment of their mediating soul. Upon arrival in the basement, the white flames are parted and gathered, reformed into seven spinning circles of fire that serve to host a violet radiance within, becoming separate portals for each of the dark figures to exit in the continuation of their hunt for Annie. They depart the basement.
As midnight draws closer, the thick network of a capillary compound that cocoons Annie’s body continues to thicken and grow in mass, while now exuding a moss-green, viscous matter that emits the pungent odor of rotting flesh.
Another of the seven dark figures manage to re-emerge from their portal at the bottom of the steps leading to the attic. Before closing, the portal that the dark figure exited, launches upward through the stairwell, devouring Maras and his companion before closing. In that instant Maras and his companion are deposited in the air above the void that separates the mansion from Waise. The dark figure swiftly ascends the stairs in their approach to the door of the attic….
Ezra...
...The soul of the man abandoned to the room Ei had left him in, and maimed by the years of torture to his soul, lifts to his feet. He stands in a broken and abashed manner, looking down over his charred and lacerated ghostly limbs, before beginning his awry limp across the floor. At the wall he pauses for but a moment then continues, passing on through barrier as though it did not exist and arriving on the other side, where he proceeds in his lame struggle down the hallway in search of…… life.
"Mm... how do I say this...
"Hmm... So some kind of Alter Ego kind of thing then?" Lyudmila says, somehow managing to look as though she's paying attention to Faux' outburst.
Lyudmila raises an eyebrow at Revel's shenanigans, but turns to place her attention on Faux.
"So, you got a bigger story than what you just said, Faux?"
Allison hears a soft sound like a voice in her head, but she chose to ignore it. Something feels strange, she doesn't remember it being very cold. The ground feels rough and hard... like sand. She wonders if she's—
"G͢ET̶͠ ̢́U҉P͏!!"
After hearing something loud in her head she immediately opened her eyes. She doesn't remember anything that happened before... how did she end up in the middle of the desert? It's dark and cold. The moon is shining bright in the starry sky. Allie brushed off the dirt on her dress and started walking forward to wherever her feet can take her.
As she was walking, she tried hard to remember how she got here in the first place. A bright light, and someone, who is that... Allie tries to remember what she saw before, but it's not working. It seems as if something or someone is trying to block a chunk of her memory.

After a walking for a while, she sees a wall in the distance. It's surrounding a city, but it doesn't seem like there's an easy way in.

After falling off a tree and landing inside the walls of the city, Allie decided it's probably a good idea to take note of surroundings first before acting.
So quiet here... Allie thought. She wonders where everyone is.
As Allie is looking around the empty streets of Waise, she spots movement in the distance, a figure walking down the road away from Allie.
Meanwhile, it starts to rain. Perhaps it'd be smart to seek shelter from the cold and rain, but then Allie would lose sight of the figure...
As midnight draws closer, the thick network of a capillary compound that cocoons Annie’s body continues to thicken and grow in mass, while now exuding a moss-green, viscous matter that emits the pungent odor of rotting flesh.

In that instant Maras and his companion are deposited in the air above the void that separates the mansion from Waise. The dark figure swiftly ascends the stairs in their approach to the door of the attic….
As the figure rushes up the staircase, a sharp object pierces the door to the attic at high speeds, quickly piercing it's body. However, it doesn't seem to do much damage.
However, from the moment the object hit the figure, the figure starts slowing down, coming to a point where it is incapable of moving any part of it's body. The figure has been turned into a statue, just out of reach of the door. Incapable of moving or defending itself in any way, it can't do anything but stand still as the hole left behind in it's body by the projectile catches fire, slowly consuming the figure and burning him until only ash is left.
...The soul of the man abandoned to the room Ei had left him in, and maimed by the years of torture to his soul, lifts to his feet.
As Ezra wanders through the mansion, the spell Ei cast still affects him, each wall they pass through leading into a different, random room. Eventually though, he finds his way out of the mansion, just in time to see Maras emerge from the dark void surrounding the Mansion.
Up in the attic, Ei knows the Order is getting closer. She just killed one, after all. So, to ensure that she isn't caught off-guard, she prepares for their arrival.
First, she sets up a barrier around Annie, but not the usual barrier that keeps things out. Instead, she creates what she calls a Spacial Distortion Field. Any projectile that enters it will have it's course altered in ways that prevent it from hitting anything, thus preventing the Order from killing Annie from afar before Ei has the chance to do anything.
There. First thing taken care of. But then what? What's to stop the Order from knocking out Ei and then rushing to stab Annie? The solution is simple, and Ei's magic springs to work on the attic, extending it, increasing it's size to the point where Ei will have plenty of time to dodge projectiles coming from the door, and running to Annie will take a while. Perfect, now they won't be able to get to Annie easily.
Ei makes a few final preparations before retreating to be standing between Annie and the door, ready for the Order to show up. Her magic prevents the Order from entering through anything but the door, and the slippery oil on the staircase will make it hard to climb without slipping while powerful wind emerges from the closed door, pushing anyone trying to climb down the stairs too, making it even more difficult to climb the stairs, though not impossible. Ei also took the time to fill the floor with text written in an unknown script, though their purpose is unknown.
Now, Ei is ready for the fight, and the mansion's hallways twist again, causing any doors the figures belonging to the Order open to lead into the room containing the staircase, leaving them at the bottom of the long staircase. Meanwhile, no other door entered/opened by anyone else leads there, ensuring that nobody will interfere.
"Ah, I see. But yes, I think he's in the house too now, though he's... preoccupied with things so he won't make it to dinner for now."
Lyudmila says as she starts eating again, occasionally drinking some wine.
Lyudmila chuckles as she realises what Revel is doing, she could appreciate humour like that.

Lyudmila looks curiously at Faux.
"The girl he likes? Who even are you...?" Lyudmila says, as she looks at Faux, rather confused at his apparent knowledge of someone liking her.
"Wait, you look... familiar. Are you Renard's younger brother or something?"

Revel smiles as the archway closes again behind Faux. "Glad you finally decided to join us, equally glad that you are better looking and less depressed than the last time we met. Help yourself to whatever you want."
Chisille's attack leaves Bob's long john pajamas's, which had already had been turned into shorts from the earlier fire in the mansion, with the back burnt out, and what would have usually been to any responsive person, a rather red and sore looking burn mark on his back.

Jack just looks at Fin for a moment before turning back to his food, pouring some gravy onto some of his potatoes as he states, "And you say that like anything in this town is normal."
"A shame. He's missing out." Jack eats the potatoes that are now soaked with gravy.
Jack drops his utensils as the scream pierces the air, using his hands to try to cover his ears.
It doesn't help.

"As you may or may not have figured out by now, what's going on here isn't a standard occurrence in Waise, or, well, anywhere for that matter. But take advantage of the food while you can. Something tells me this dinner isn't going to last much longer. In any case, these are my friends, feel free to introduce yourself if you are so inclined."
'SHINE
Uncle Revel's Cinnamon Brandy
Guaranteed to make your beam gleam!'
"Sorry. My bad."
Jack briefly glances at Trixie as she loses her clothes, more out of a natural reaction to a sudden change than any particular interest in looking at her in that state. He doesn't say anything about it as he turns his focus back to his food, continuing to eat.
Fortunately for Jack, the sensation of the cinnamon brandy filling him drowns out any of the scent released by Buttons.
Trixie immediately covers certain...parts of her body with her arms. She was certainly rather shocked. "HEY! Put them back on!" she shouted, rather embarrassed. Everyone else had clothes on...so was it some sort of norm everyone had to follow? She assumed so.
Apparently this is what some of my friends think of me here:

'Exposed'.
Fin does however pinch his nose as the smell wafts through, and he took note of which direction the noise and the apology came from for later use... However, he couldn't do anything right then.

"It is time. Begin the hunt!"

As Allie is looking around the empty streets of Waise, she spots movement in the distance, a figure walking down the road away from Allie.
Meanwhile, it starts to rain. Perhaps it'd be smart to seek shelter from the cold and rain, but then Allie would lose sight of the figure...
