And ends up in the Foyer again, entering through another door into the foyer just in time to see himself leave the foyer.
Jack takes a moment to realize what has just happened. "Ah, hell... this might take a while." He avoided the stares of the eyes, feeling as though their glares might come across as mocking.
At the very least, though, he's no longer confused as to why Buttons had run through the foyer several times.
"What a nap," says 'Renard', yawning serenely as he awakens almost waist-deep in water, no thanks to being considerably shorter. His voice sounds much higher than normal, like that of a child. "Huh...? What's with all this water..."
His sentence trails off as he slowly glances up at a large spider flying past him, and he recoils backwards into the wall behind him.
"F-f-f-f--"
It doesn't take long for a high-pitched scream to resound throughout the room.
Jack glances at 'Renard' as he screams. "Sounds like the sleeper ain't quite sleeping anymore..."
Boris’ deliberate strike at the bird provokes a hostile reaction. Several of the nearby Ravens converge upon the large man in a wild flurry, stabbing and lashing at his flesh with a heavy barrage of red hot beaks and talons.
As he thinks about what to do, he suddenly notices a person out of the corner of his eye being harassed by ravens. He grips his sword tightly, holding on to some sort of gear shift attached to the hilt.
"Alright," he says, having come to some sort of decision. "Duty calls!"
'Renard' hops on to his chair, which now was floating in the water, leaping off it onto the wall. Grabbing the wall for a split second, he 'revs' up his sword, causing a flammable propellant to spray across the sword, making the blade appear searing red. Using the wall as a launching point, he jets off, his sword leaving a fiery trail through the air as he spins through it towards Boris. He stops spinning as soon as he reaches the person, though he makes several impossible movements as he passes Boris, slicing, spinning and slashing through the entire group of ravens without losing any momentum, fast enough to leave afterimages.
Despite all this, he lands face-first in the ground.
Turning his sight back to Boris in time to see him being assaulted by ravens, Jack draws Magebuster, moving to strike down the birds attacking his ally; before he has time to reach Boris, however, 'Renard' has already slain them, through a series of movements Jack's eyes weren't quite quick enough to catch and that took him a moment to process before he realized Boris was now safe. He sheathed his sword, keeping his shield in hand in case any more ravens showed up.
Boris is overwhelmed by the flurry of Ravens that suddenly attack him from what feels like everywhere, pecking a clawing at him with hot beaks and claws. During the commotion he throws his fists around to try and fight them off, knocking a few away, but then decides to grab Revel Yell form his back to help him. As he taking the weapon into both hands about to start swinging, the vaguely familiar sleeping man from the corner is suddenly moving in with a blur of motion, striking down the remainder of the birds before crashing face first in the water on the floor.
A little baffled by the speed of everything that took place, Boris looks down at the man and just kinda shrugs as he returns the bone to his back. He looks at Jack, with a questionable expression.
"He sure is a silly man."
In so saying, Boris steps up to the silly man, grabbing him by the rear of his attire with one strong hand and lifts him back up to his feet. He gives the man a heavy pat on the shoulder.
"Boris thanks you for your help, Mr."
Boris is unfortunately injured. Cuts and burn marks have been left on areas of his face and arms, though he doesn't really show that he's bothered by any pain.
"Owie, owie, owie..." yelps the hooded person in pain, though it doesn't seem as if any major damage has been caused.
Thanks to you too, mister," he replies. He pulls back his golden hood to reveal a face that Boris may have vaguely seen through a passing glance at the Inn once, though he looks much more youthful than before and has more feminine features. Coupled with his higher-pitched voice and ponytail, it's almost enough to mistake him for the opposite gender only upon first glance.
"I'm Faux. The greatest engineer in all the lands; I'm sure you've heard of me," he says, grinning.
He brings his sword to his back, and it seems to float behind him as he lets go of it.
"'Course, you can call me Renard, too-- actually, never mind, don't, I hate that alias."
He seems to contemplate something after speaking-- leaving Boris to talk to the person named Jack.
"That's strange... last time I used the Truth, it went full laser mode right off the bat... what's this scummy fire blade thing? Who designed this sword? Oh, right, me."
Faux looked up at the person Boris was speaking to. His appearance looked strangely familiar, and Faux felt as if he should be disliking him for some odd reason.
"Well, good to see Boris is safe. And good to meet you, Faux. Can't say I've heard of you... but at the same time, I can't say word of such things spreads very quickly where I come from either. If your engineering is anywhere near as good as that swordplay you just pulled off, though, I'd say that's a reputation well earned."
The nine figures enter in nine different locations throughout the mansion, where at each location their mist-like textures quickly revert to their previous dark forms. The Foyer and Dining Room are two of these locations, the seven other locations are not at the moment occupied by any of the other visitors that have recently entered the mansion.
It was only then that Boris saw the dark figure standing in the foyer a little further away. He recognized the figure as the one he saw outside the church earlier, and he was suddenly overcome with anger as he takes his bone from his back again. "Mr. Jack," he says seriously; "That very, very bad man has come back!"
"Oh, geez," he mutters to himself, his glance drifting towards the mysterious figure that had appeared, "what's going on now? Someone, please fill me in..."
Jack looks at the cultist now standing in the foyer as Boris proclaims his appearance. "The bad man..." It is then that he realizes who these people are- the same kind as the one they had seen outside the church earlier. He hadn't recognized them in the darkness, and while he couldn't be certain the one standing before them was the same one they had encoutnered that morning, he was certain of one thing- they gave him a bad feeling. The fact that Maras had warned about them certainly didn't help matters.
But then again, as he recalled, this person- these people- were searching for Annie. The same girl that had torn apart an innocent man in front of Jack, Silas, Uyir, and Orson, and had told them they would die. But at the same time... she had assisted them to some degree in their fight with the knight- granted, for what purpose, he couldn't be certain- and she seemed far less hostile, albeit still somewhat unnerving, when she was merely observing them. The question loomed over him: which would end up posing a greater threat,,, the cultists, or Annie?
The giant, flying spiders now roaming the mansion could have been a third option, but they seemed intent on consuming the ravens rather than attacking anything else.

Silas looks around the room they were in. "...oh," he remarks. "I was too preoccupied with myself to notice that." After Silas puts a hand to his stomach, he shakes his head. "I do not require to eat, and even if I did, I don't have the heart..." Clearly, something has changed in Silas, as if a spark inside him was snuffed out.
And then all went to chaos.
As Jack let go of Silas, he is momentarily disoriented as the flames arrive. The ravens cause him to stumble back. And them the light. Oh, that blinding light! If it weren't for Silas's prior experience and his goggles he would have been blinded. Even then, the wind and water cause him to crash back onto the ground, soaking him.
Silas, still sprawled out on the water, points to the unusually large slug on Trixie's shoulder. "What's with the slug?" he asks calmly as if nothing happened just now.
As the dark figures enter the house, Silas gets an unusual chill up his spine, making him shudder and go stiff at the same time.
Then he gets up. Of his own volition.
When Silas pushes to his feet, a peculiar thing happens - I mean, besides all the other weird crap going on. His heart stops for a moment he can't breath while at the same time a warm milky sensation flushes through his entire body and the sensation of pins-n-needles dance over his skin. As his hearts starts beating again with a thump that sends a jolt through his body, his ability to breath again kicks in as well, and as he draws his next breath he feels overwhelmed with a new sense of purpose. The sense of purpose may not have been tied to any one thing or specific ambition, it was more like a fresh new passion for life in general was born in that instant. He felt more vitality and determination for pretty much anything at all than he had ever felt in his life prior to that moment.
His will had been restored in response to his own volition, with a little added Go-get-em!

Jack leaves the foyer through the door.
And ends up in the Foyer again, entering through another door into the foyer just in time to see himself leave the foyer.
Outside, Maras notices how little effect their attacks are having, and he raises his hand. The creatures all stop their attacks, and retreat into the shadows, and Maras does the same.
Up in the attic, Ei hears the raven, but is seemingly proccupied. Ei is holding something in her hand, it looks like a part of the night sky, levitating in the palm of her hand. She looks at it intently, and chuckles.
"Yes, that will do nicely." Ei says, as she clenches her hand into a fist, crushing whatever it was she was holding. Simultaneously, everyone in and near the mansion feels a shiver go down their spine, as the mansion begins to shake as if suffering from an earthquake. Furniture is overturned, items fall to the floor and shatter, and the water quickly turns to steam, filling the mansion with a thick cloud of steam that makes it difficult to see. Then, the shaking stops. Inside the mansion, all is still. The damage caused by the shaking is easy to see, as several walls look as though they're on the brink of collapse, and lots of furniture is broken. Outside however, things are different. The buildings that were once within sight of the mansion are gone, and all that can be seen is the pavement right outside the mansion, and a starry void all around it.
Guess running away isn't an option, is it?
However, other things change too, as those within the mansion find themselves incapable of changing their shape, as even the figures find themselves incapable of switching to a different form, forcing them to navigate the mansion like normal while the mansion keeps shifting, making whatever path to the attic previously found by the raven useless as all doors lead to different locations than usual, locations that change when the door is closed.
And the Raven that found Annie's location? Well, it soon finds itself impaled on a spear with a blue-glowing tip, which douses the spark of life within the Raven. As two figures appear at the top of the twisted staircase leading to the attic door.
Lyudmila raises an eyebrow at Revel's actions, but before she can respond, the mansion starts shaking, throwing all the foot and cutlery off the table.
"Well, we were having dinner, but it seems that that our dinner has suffered from a minor case of earthquake." Lyudmila says, looking at all the food that has fallen on the floor with a hint of sadness in her voice. She then turns to Revel and puts up her best smile.
"You can fix that, right? I'm still feeling a bit hungry even though I should be helping."
Revel laughs kindly and places his hand on Lyudmila's, giving a comforting stroke with his thumb, "Like you even need to ask - and how about we go ahead and add some more welcome people to this tea party? I suspect a few more hungry friends wouldn't hurt."
The table and chairs of the dining room have already been restored and steam is cleared from the air when then, on the wall at the far end of the dining room, an aperture opens in the shape of a stone archway with the foyer and other assumed party guests revealed on the other side. At the same time, the steam in the foyer is cleared as well, to ensure no one misses the rather obvious opening in the wall beside them.
"Don't you dally now, step on through to the other side!" Revel calls out to Jack and the others in friendly and oddly enticing voice they can all very clearly hear. "We have more than enough food for everyone. So come, eat, drink and be merry while you still can! The invitation won't last forever."
Meanwhile, Buttons manages not to get hurt in the earthquake and returns to his spot on the table to start chowing down on his fish again, while down in the cellar, Bob, no longer bobbing on the water, manages to push to his feet and recommences his aimless staggering through the lingering steam.

Jack watches as the steam clears to reveal a new opening in the wall, from which a familiar voice could be heard; the same one that had served as the announcer in the colosseum during their battle with the Knight. Jack hesitates for a moment, but quickly decides that Revel was much less a threat than either Annie or the Cultists.
At the moment, anyways.
He turns to the others, stating, "Well, you heard the man. Let's go!" before sprinting past the cultist and passing through the opening and into the dining room, a thin trail of water left on the floor behind him by his soaked apparel and gear. Now, as he is not currently focused on a battle, he was able to get a good look at the man he assumed to be Revel, looking at him for a moment before starting, "By your voice, I take it you're Revel, then?" He glances between Lyudmilla and Chisille, not recognizing either of them. "I don't think we've met in any capacity, miss, and... dragon?"
He had never seen a dragon before, only heard them described. Tales of dragons depicted them as gargantuan, fearsome creatures, guarding massive hordes of treasure, but this one... was rather small. And was guarding a bucket. Not quite the creatures of legend he had heard of, in any case.
His focus then turned to Buttons. "So this is where you ended up, Buttons. Looks like we're all in one place again."

Revel does the courteous thing, rising from his chair on Jack's entry.
"Indeed you're correct, Jack" He smiles warmly, opening his arms to welcome him. "It is my very fine pleasure to meet you at last in person." With pleasantries out of the way. He waves his hand in a backward motion over the table which was already adorned with all manner of food, all manner of foot except one, Steak. A 32 ounce flame grilled steak with a side serve of roast potato, and a personalized jug of gravy appears on a silver plate at place right next to Revel, opposite Lyudmila (since Revel is seated at the head of the table). Beside this fine dish is a large metal pint of what looks to beer, the name Jack'?' with quoted question mark is engraved on the metal.
"Rare, but not too bloody, and just the way you like it. A pint of the finest Ale ever brewed, so refreshing, so savory and smooth you will never want another drop of anything less. How does that sound, Jack?" In the closing of his offer, Revel winks with the emphasis on the name 'Jack', further disclosing his knowledge that the name was merely an alias of types, while at the same time the chair at that place slides back with a swift little turn for Jack to be seated. "Please, enjoy."
Buttons, hearing Jack's entry, pulls himself away from his grilled fish just long enough to welcome Jack as well.
"Jack! Good to see ya. Dig in, this food is friggen awesome!"
Behind Jack, Boris enters the room paying very little mind to the dragon, Lyudmila or Buttons, and it even takes a moment to register that the man who introduced himself as Revel, was probably the same guy responsible for the engraving on his bone. He finds his own place at the table, giving Revel a quick nod while doing so, and starts piling all sorts of food on his plate before the realization registers. Looking up from his food, he sees Revel smiling broadly at him.
"Hey.... You Revel like on my...." His thumb indicated the bone on his back. "You admire Boris...." Aside from these words, Boris had no idea how to further express his deep curiosity on the events taking place for him.
"It's okay." Revel returns the nod kindly; "You don't have to say anything, Revel knows your heart. Now eat up, feast, take whatever you want, and if you want something else that might not already be available, don't hesitate to ask."
"Well okay then, Mr. Revel. Boris will. Thank you very, very kindly for this good food." With no further ado, Boris starts digging in.

Jack makes his way over to his seat at the table, stating, "And it's an honor to be in the presence of a being such as yourself... a god, perhaps...?" Ariel thus far had been the only other one in the town who not only already knew Jack before they met in person, but indicated that they knew about his past. While Ariel had promised not to reveal Jack's history, Jack wasn't entirely certain Revel intended to do the same. In any case, Jack knew Ariel to be an angel, and as Revel didn't exactly give off the impression of an angel to Jack, a god was his next best guess.
He looked at the food piled on the table around them, focusing on his own meal as Revel describes it to him. As Revel finishes, Jack looks at him, setting his helmet on the floor below the chair he was seated in. "It sounds... nothing less than perfect. And it's been such a long time since I've eaten in a setting like this..." Removing his soaked gloves and dropping them onto the floor next to his helmet, he picks up a knife and a fork, slicing a chunk of meat off of the giant steak in front of him. He savors its flavor as he eats it, swallowing the chunk of meat before continuing, "And even back then, the food was nowhere near as good as this."
He continues to eat, sampling some of the roast potato and gravy as well and washing it down with a swig of the ale before turning to Revel to ask, "Given the amount of food here, along with the choice of table, I take it more will be joining us later?"

Faux shifts his gaze back and forth from the newly opened aperture to the figure, understandably confused. He eventually decides to follow the others because of the bandwagon effect, though he only takes a few steps ahead before tensing up, stopping in his tracks. The enigmatic presence of the mysterious figure becomes too hard to ignore. Faux turns around briefly, and his eyes fixate on the figure in a puzzling manner. The whirring of the mechanical sword bobbing in the air behind his back permeates the silence. Several questions fill his head all at the same time-- but without knowing any context, in addition to the others' aversion towards them, he could only feel uneasy from their overbearing presence.
"Thanks for the heads up." Revel replies to Chisille, but his attention was already focused on the tall dark stranger in their midst and, for the very first time since Revel and Lyudmila had known each other, she actually sees Revel with the serious expression of a dark and irritated glare. He clenches his hands to fists, but leaves them rested on the table on either side of his plate, as the dining room floor starts to vibrate like a massive locomotive was passing by just outside. Then his voice comes out in the oddly calm parting of his lips, every letter of his words as loud and grating as a grinder cutting through metal:
"You weren't invited to this party."
As he finishes his sentence, the dark figure starts to change. His cloak begins steam as the material its made from starts to bubble and churn like the surface of boiling tar. Then as the figure begins to melt to the floor, the remaining ravens and flying spiders in the dining room lose control of their will, suddenly changing trajectory and fly into the melting mass, vanishing as if they were retreating into the mouth of a cave.
Once the remains of the dark figure had settled in a black puddle of goo on the floor, Revel turns his face back to Lyudmila, relaxed and casually smiling.
"Now, where were we, my friend?"
Revel's sudden loud, grating yet calm voice disturbs Chisille similar to all the other times that Betty had non-stopped talked about whatever she was interested in, but thankfully it didn't last nearly as long as some of the other conversations, so a quick shake of her head cleared away the irritation. She knew she had to learn to resist the irritating amounts of noise. Someone might use it against her at some point.
Almost immediately afterwards, that dark figure that she had pointed out began to bubble and boil away into a black mess in the water. All the other creatures, aside from guests, had also merged with the tarry goo that had formed. She wasn't a big swimmer anyway, but having to move about in the water with that stuff made it even less desirable. It certainly seemed as though the only good spot that she would even have a chance of sleeping was right here on the dining table.
Up in the attic, Ei hears the raven, but is seemingly proccupied. Ei is holding something in her hand, it looks like a part of the night sky, levitating in the palm of her hand. She looks at it intently, and chuckles.

Chisille shivered as an unnerving chill ran up her spine. At this point she just sighed under her breath. She was getting used to all the strange things happening inside the mansion, and the earthquake was no different. All she did was make sure that her oreo bucket didn't tip over, that she didn't fall of the table, and that her tail didn't get singed by the steam rising though the last one wasn't much of a problem.
She sort of just wanted all of this stuff to end, though from what was happening it didn't look like it was going to.

With the opening of the new doorway, Chisille figured it was probably in her best interest to look over and make sure there was going to be no danger... again. She blinked slowly and sleepily as she watched the various humans from the other room, not even bothering to move at all when some of them decided to walk straight into the room.
One of them, in particularly wet armour addressed her as if they had not expected such a thing. If she was her regular self rather then this somewhat fearless manipulation of her former self, she would not have expected herself to be sitting on the table guarding a bucket of cookies either. "Hi..." she sleepily mumbled.
There wasn't really anywhere else she could go, and nothing she wanted to do. Except sleep. That wasn't happening though.

Bozhidar nods, saying that meeting other adventurers will be of immense help to him, and starts walking, almost enthusiastically.
as Bozhidar walks with the child, He is reminded of a time when he too, was a small lad working for the various criminal enterprises within the corrupt and seedy slums, He would often used as a contraband courier, using his small stature as an advantage to go through small entrances, evading the law or to escape the wrath of rival gangs, and although Bozhidar could no longer fit in the same small holes, it gave him a valuable skill of being a great pathfinder
They have been walking for some time now, and although he is in good company, the same feeling of dread and hopelessness creeps back up his spine, chills that he had not experienced ever since he first walked through the gates.

Vernon wakes from his sleep. He has felt a… disturbance in Waise. It was, however, not the earth tremor that woke him. Another matter had roused him. His eyes, now open, are akin to the reflective surface of polished steel, no pupils, no iris, and yet this condition does not last longer than an instant before his eyes are restored to their former appearance. His body does not move, remaining on his back with Ki asleep on his arm, and for a quiet moment his eyes dart about as though in search of something in the air close his face.
It is only then that the ground began to shake from that which Ei had set into place at the mansion. Within the short time that the tremors prevail, he reaches across, placing one hand gently over Ki’s face. When he does so, her irregular breathing, the breathing of someone about to wake, relaxes. Her rousing consciousness descends once more into the peaceful ease of sleep.
“Not yet.”
His voice is almost silently whispered, and Ki is not the only thing affected by Vernon’s behaviour. At the sound of his quiet voice, the flames of the fire burning nearby rise, as though fuel had been added to the flames, yet their momentary boost does not emit any increase of sound on their part. As the tremor comes to an end, Vernon is no longer there. Although his body remains present, his eyes are again closed as his consciousness takes a journey…
…Ie receives a vision. She is in a dark void. Shining within the void is what appears to be a manlike figure. It is difficult to say if the man is clothed, for his person does not adorn any known style of armor or clothing, no seams at his wrists, ankles or neck. His body overall appears to consist of an element like that of platinum. His extremities glimmer as though plated with diamonds. His lips and eyes are like finely polished, white steel, no pupils or iris. No hair can be seen on his person. This… individual is simply standing, void of any noticeable emotion, staring at Ei for what seems like a very long time before he slowly raises one arm toward her and opens his hand. Revealed in the palm of his hand is Annie, she too is simply standing there, staring back at Ei with no expression. The man then raises his other arm, opening that hand to reveal one of the Orders’ dark figures. They too simply stand motionless in the palm of his hand. While Ei watches this event take place, she is filled with a sense of calm and… immense serenity.
…Soon the vision fades away, Ei finds herself where she had been before the vision began, while at the church, Vernon’s consciousness returns as he slips away peacefully into sleep once more.
Seized by the more than adequate power of a God… the figure has no choice but to melt. Throughout the foreboding consciousness of the Order, however, a dire scream is heard, while Revel, or rather the true name of said God, has now been set with the mark of perdition. In effect… the Order will henceforth perceive all living things under the influence or adoration of this God, as no different to those born of the light.
Faux shifts his gaze back and forth from the newly opened aperture to the figure, understandably confused. He eventually decides to follow the others because of the bandwagon effect, though he only takes a few steps through the water before tensing up, stopping in his tracks.
"Who... are you?"
The dark, cloaked figure for some time, possibly awaiting all those in the foyer to leave, remains motionless, hands sheathed in their sleeves, face hidden in the darkness of their hood until, at last, Faux poses a direct question. They now turn slowly, smoothly, facing Faux. Yet another moment of silence passes before a voice like that of a man, distorted by an underlying broken sound similar to that of a rattlesnake, emanates from their person.
“You are not what we seek…. Leave.”
The final word of their statement was unmistakably darker, sinister, threatening, accompanied by a short, sharp shifting of the floor beneath Faux’s feet.
The other seven figures scattered throughout, commence their journey through the tangled innards of the mansion with a specific destination in mind. The attic.
As Silas gets his new will, he simply uncharacteristically yells "I'm BACK, BABY!" while raising his fists in triumph. Of course, he followed Jack briskly to the Dining Room.
She did a nervous grin. "Oh, nothing..nothing..." she stated to Silas. She didn't want him to know more than he needed to, she didn't trust Silas.
Trixie had followed Jack into the dining room, noticing Revel and some others there. She greeted them.
Silas just raises an eyebrow at the statement.

And here's a description of the little men so you know what they look like during this post: They are very fuzzy and their fur is typically green in color with brown stripes. They have two legs, two arms and hands with apposable thumbs and pointy little nails on each of their four fingers. They are skinny, but their fur makes em look tubby, and they stand about two foot in height. They have little stubby round ears, a black button nose, little yellow beady eyes and a wide mouth filled with thousands of tiny sharp teeth like needles. They also have a very long thin blue tongue for lapping stuff up.))
Fin wakes up in a room hang'n upside down by his feet from the ceiling with his hands tied behind his back, and his fingers are all bound as well to prevent him from reaching into any posckets to grab stuff. He's feeling a little bit groggy and it takes a little bit for his eyes to focus on whats going on. Apparently he's been dragged into some cobblestone basement. The room is all lit up by a bunch of little fires scattered around on the floor, and all around the outside area of the basement there are crates and boxes and stuff all broken open with the their contents all sprawled out on the floor as well. Any food, even the rotten stuff that was found in the crates had been devoured already, which can obviously be seen by all the left overs and crumbs on the floor as well. The place is stinky and smells a lot like rotting meat and vegetable mixed with a really gosh darn pungent odor of what is probably pee. Fin can also see one of his billiard balls laying on the floor as well.
Anyway! Beside one of the fires in front of him, Fin can see one of the little fuzzy men just staring at him as if he is waiting for something. It is really obviously as day that he knows Fin is now awake, but he still looks like he is expecting something from Fin, and the way his beady little eyes are gaping at him, the matter on his mind must have been very important! But when he doesn't get an immediate response from his unspoken inquiry, he shakes his angry fist at Fin and starts yell'n at him, saying something like 'Eskecoombelaka!' and jumps up and down on the spot a few times, like some spoiled little brat who didn't get his own way or something.
The next thing is, since Fin's head is dangling about eye level with the little fella, it makes it very easy for the little man to walk on up and give Fin's cheek a few good pokes with his stubby little finger. And that's exactly what he does! But he keeps on poking Fins cheeks quite hard while at the same time repeating a word over and over again. The word the little fella is now saying, even tough Fin doesn't understand the language, sounds a whole like it might be a question, and you can be sure it's a question he is gosh darn intent on getting an answer to!
Jack makes his way over to his seat at the table, stating, "And it's an honor to be in the presence of a being such as yourself... a god, perhaps...?"
Revel laughs only amused, not flattered at all. "I've been called worse, Jack, but really the honor is mine. Your deeds have been a novelty of mine for quite some time. I've at last found the opportunity to chew the fat with you."
Ariel thus far had been the only other one in the town who not only already knew Jack before they met in person, but indicated that they knew about his past.
"That's the good thing about being called many names, all that humility provides the karma to perform such tasty deeds as this. And you are right yet again, very sharp of you - I was in fact hoping for more guests this evening, but it would seem a certain Order has dropped a hair in my soup." Revel, apparently very happy with the way he and Jack were getting along, then gestures to introduce Lyudmila; "In any case, I'm not inclined to let your good flattery get the better of my manners, Jack. This here is my old friend, Mila, but I'm sure she doesn't mind if you refer to her as Lyudmila."
While Lyudmila and Jack become acquainted, Revel turns his attention to the others who have arrived for dinner.
She did a nervous grin. "Oh, nothing..nothing..." she stated to Silas. She didn't want him to know more than he needed to, she didn't trust Silas.

The other seven figures scattered throughout, commence their journey through the tangled innards of the mansion with a specific destination in mind. The attic.
Once the vision is over, Ei's first action is to see if Annie is still there, to make sure the Order didn't do anything while she was... preoccupied with a vision. Once she confirms Annie is still where she left her, Ei returns to the business at hand. One cultist was dead, one had fled, one was occupied and thus there were only seven. Ei chuckles.
"But soon there shall be none."
As the cultists journey through the mansion, they all soon find themselves in the same room. But before they can leave, the doors combust and vanish, leaving only two doors, one which opens revealing that it leads outside, while the other is barricaded with thick, spiked vines.
"I'd suggest taking that door and leaving." A voice says. Ei's voice, as she too appears in the room. Though, perhaps, it's not the 'true' Ei, her usual clothes replaced with a green robe, and her eyes pure green.
"You seek my friend for reasons I do not know. You seek to hunt her down with a reason that is beyond me. I do not know what motivation lies behind your actions, but I can tell you this; you won't get her. Already have three of your group failed to make it this far, though one of those is merely distracted. Leave her be and you shall be spared, continue on your fool's quest and you shall suffer. I won't let you hurt my friend, as she is the only one I have."
Quote from Buttons & Co. »
Lyudmila thanks Revel for the food, and is about to start eating when the group arrives.
"Ah, yes. My name is Lyudmila, as Revel already told you. Maras brought you here, did he not?"
Revel gives a warm smile to Trixie as she enters, stating; "If you don't mind my saying, your new skin fits you well, and I'm glad you could grace us with your presence, Trixie. Oh, and in case I forget to ask later, do let me know how food tastes with a human tongue, as opposed to say... well, the tongue of a pony. I'd be more than glad to hear it!"
Trixie smirked evily at Revel there, and sat right next to Jack. She began eating the fruits and vegetables at the table. She looked like she was enjoying it. After she was done, she looked at Revel. "Tasted more...diverse in a way. Plus theres also a slug here...who seems to really like my new form." she pointed at Suggy on her shoulder.

Apparently this is what some of my friends think of me here:
Fin looked groggily at the little furry person, because anything that was asking a question had to at least be slightly sentient. Ignoring the pain, he tried to think on what it was asking. He didn't know the- *OW* -Language, but he was- *OW* -Pretty sure that it may have- *OW* -been some form of- *OW* -Elvish.
Clearing his throat, he tried to give an answer to the little furry person. "Excuse me, but do you happen to speak the King's English? I don't know your language."
The fuzzy little fella just kinda stared all blank like at Fin after he responds, then suddenly he breaks out in laughter. Once again, this little falla’s laugh sounds like the cackle of a deranged psychopath. As he’s laughing he’s holding his belly and jumping all around the room, he even takes a bit of time to roll around on the floor really enjoying himself a lot. After a while he gets up and sighs like might be tired now, then he walks on up the stairs and out of the basement. From up in the main part of the house, Fin can hear him say something to the other furry fella’s that must have been waiting for him up there, then the whole lot of them break out in laughter as well. Fin just can’t do anything but listen to their crazy laugh fading into the distance as they leave the house. A loud slam of the front door is the last he hears of them.
Fin is all on his own, strung up by his feet from the roof in some basement somewhere.
Back at the mansion! Ezmond is pretty gosh darn frustrated because he just can’t navigate his way successfully through the mansion in search of his darling little Betty. At one point he finds himself in the cellar with some weird dazed out guy in panamas who just keeps walking into walls and stuff. Eventually Ezmond decides he has had a gosh darn nough of all this being lost business and needs to come up with a plan to get through this maze.

Fin watched as the little furry creature laughed, rolling around every which place in the room. Did I say something funny? Fin watched as the little Hedge-Dwarf, as he thought of the creature, left and told his friend what the funny thing was, bursting into more histerics.
As they left, Fin tried wriggle out of the boots the had strung him up from, and the ropes on his wrist too. He hated being trapped. He needed to move, have freedom in his arms and legs. Being hanged up like yesterdays coat was not something he would stand for. Er, you know what I mean.
Revel laughs only amused, not flattered at all. "I've been called worse, Jack, but really the honor is mine. Your deeds have been a novelty of mine for quite some time. I've at last found the opportunity to chew the fat with you."
Lyudmila thanks Revel for the food, and is about to start eating when the group arrives.
"Ah, yes. My name is Lyudmila, as Revel already told you. Maras brought you here, did he not?"
Jack listens to Revel before turning to Lyudmila as he introduces her. "Well, nice to meet you, Lyudmila. As for Maras, yes, he was the one who brought us here. I take it you and him are associates of some sort, then?"
Revel gives a warm smile to Trixie as she enters, stating; "If you don't mind my saying, your new skin fits you well, and I'm glad you could grace us with your presence, Trixie. Now grab a seat and eat up. Enjoy yourself, let me know if there's anything else your friend Revel can provide.
Jack looks at Trixie, who sits down next to him as he begins eating another chunk of steak. His mouth full of food, he gives her a nod to acknowledge her presence.

Jack takes a moment to realize what has just happened. "Ah, hell... this might take a while." He avoided the stares of the eyes, feeling as though their glares might come across as mocking.
At the very least, though, he's no longer confused as to why Buttons had run through the foyer several times.
Jack glances at 'Renard' as he screams. "Sounds like the sleeper ain't quite sleeping anymore..."
Trixie had followed Jack into the dining room, noticing Revel and some others there. She greeted them.

"Who... are you?"

The attic.

As Revel retook his seat, he goes quiet for a moment to look with vague interest through aperture at Faux, who had chosen to stay behind in the Foyer.
Lyudmila thanks Revel for the food, and is about to start eating when the group arrives.
