"Yea, walking around would certainly be better than staying and doing nothing. Lead the way."
Lyudmila then turns to Gwendolyn.
"You coming with us? We're trying to get to that fancy castle on top of the plateau."
Chisille slides down off the rocky platform and back onto the snowy ground. She looks over to Gwendolyn and the little bird she has with her, taking a step forward and then another. She sniffed the air where she stood, taking in her scent so she could identify her later. She certainly had that smell of bird about her too.
Once that was done, she supposed she could just try to ignore her for now. Maybe get to know her later on if she proves to be like Betty. There was certainly a pattern that she was making out. The female humans were far more... gentle looking and less prone to scare her off. They usually just screamed and ran when they saw her. Or cowered in terror and begged for their life before their men came along to throw a kitchen knife at her.
She kept close to the rocky plateau wall and started to walk along it. As long as it was there one side of her was protected and she felt far better about moving about like this. Her tail wobbled a bit to the left and to the right as she made her way through the snow. Shorter legs meant harder movement through it...
Gwen gives Lyudmila a quizzical expression, mirrored by the bird in her hair. "Hello," she says, eyes flickering towards the tiny dragon standing by the cliff. She decides not to mention it.
As the grey dragon before her approaches, Gwendolyn can detect all sorts of magic radiating from her. Some of them feel far stronger then the others, those of which are barely noticeable but nevertheless there, hidden away within her. Before Gwen can comment on it though, the dragon turns away and starts walking beside the cliff of the plateau.

Once Jack reaches the belfry safe, Boris loosens the rope and eats another cookie while watching Jack intently.
"Boy, Jack sure is a good climber." He tells himself and gives Jack a child-like wave.
Buttons also seems content that Jack made the climb safely. He sits back up, gives a small meow, then proceeds to clean himself like a cat that finds reason to relax with self maintenance after a tasty meal.
As Orson tries to climb up the handrail, a part of it let's go, and now Orson is dangling above a rather deep drop, hanging from the handrail which, itself, is hanging from one of the stairs
"Oh no..."
Orson then, very very carefully, holds on to the rail.
Orson then, very very carefully, holds on to the rail.
"Hey, a little help? Anyone?" He yells.
Boris, finishing his cookie, hears someone calling out from inside. He recognizes the voice, but isn't sure where he recognizes the voice from, only that it causes a little emotional conflict inside him. Nevertheless, and seeing as he had no immediate way to help his friend, Jack, Boris goes in to investigate. Inside he looks up the staircase and sees Orson hanging by a tether at a dangerous height, which is when Boris remembers where he knew the voice from.
This causes some added conflict in Boris. Save the little man, or let him die with no more problems concerning the stolen gold.... Boris thinks for a few minutes, and decides in the end to save him, maybe only because of the fact that Jack and Uyir had put him in such a friendly mood of late.
"It's okay, Mr. Orson." Boris calls out to him as he stands below and stretches out his massive arms. "Boris catch you falling."

Seeing as how he didn't exactly have a good way to get to him without negating the climb he had just accomplished with the assistance of Boris and Buttons, he left it to the giant man to handle. Meanwhile, he turned upwards, looking at the machinery that he had come up to investigate.

Orson at first was about to decline the help, but remembers that he is, in fact, hanging above a large drop.
He temporarily forgoes despising Boris, and drops down.
Boris easily catches Orson, cradling him like a baby in his arms for a seconds as he lets out a small chuckle. "Boris never save anyone before." He releases Orson, and adds. "Boris left your gold on the street. You can find it by walking." In his mind, Boris is hoping that Orson won't notice the knapsack attached to his back, or at the very least not suspect that some of the treasure is in there. He would hate to have to kill Orson now that he had saved his life. He hands a cookie to Orson then, saying no more, walks back outside, eager to see what Jack is up to.
Uyir chuckles "It seems the fates took us to a graveyard" He returns to whistling, a low, haunting melody this time, as he examines some nearby gravestones
Orson hops down and is given the cookie, while Boris is not looking Orson throws the cookie away, and walks back into the main church room and goes back outside, and looks around a bit.
"Nobody," he said to the voice, not turning his head to meet its fictional gaze. "I am not yours to keep, and you will be forced out of my head one way or another."
"Don't be Bashful," Annie giggles, obvious in her pretense; "If you want me so bad, just tell me, I'm right here for you, my darling."
The girl chuckles as Annie claims she smells delicious, and watches in amazement at the colours.
"Colour, a gift this world has that mine does not. As for my name?"
The girl bows, a rift that seemingly opens up into a colourless city filled with featureless humanoid creatures appears behind her. "Those who know me call me Eizoku" the girl, Eizoku, says. The rift itself closing as she stands upright again. "But you can call me Ei."
Eizoku giggles at Annie's question. "Yes. I have killed before. Sometimes you can't rely on others to do the job well enough, you know."
Annie's eyes light up with excitement, though she quickly contains the expression with a less... provocative look while steps closer to Ei once again. She holds out one hand to the side as if to present information, saying "I like it...." while an image of Ariel appears beside them. The image of Ariel is real, as if looking through a portal to watch him as he goes about his current business.
"Him." She tells Ei. "He's going to die. Let's play together. You and me." Half of Annie's face smiles wickedly, while the other half remains completed unaffected. "Do you want to?"
With that, she lowers her hand and the image of Ariel vanishes. Annie awaits a response to her proposal, a certain gleam in her emotionless eye suggesting that refusal from Ei would not be taken lightly.
On the other side of the door is a small cavern. A river runs through it, with a broken bridge in the middle that used to cross the river, though the big hole in it makes it hard for the bridge to serve it's purpose. The cavern is lit by four brazier, and a stone coffin stands on the other side of the river. The river itself seems to continue further underground through as an underground river.
Vernon, with an immediate idea, looks back out the doorway they had entered. He does exit once more, finds a nearby tomb which he enters with Ki, and removes the timber lid off the inner coffin with relative difficulty. He then, with flaming sword and lid in grasp, awkwardly makes way to the bridge and fills the gap with the lid. He and Ki arrive on the other side of the river and approach the coffin. It is however stone, and the lid will need be moved with effort. He extinguishes the flame on his sword, since ample light was shed from the Braziers, and requests that Ki steps back while he removes the lid. She does so.
Vernon grips the lid of the coffin, shifting it slowly to one side.
Annie, for an instant, feels the presence of Gabriel, though she does not know him by name, nor could she see him in that moment. she knows him only by the sensation of his presence, a sensation she would prefer to live without. She is filled with a sudden anxiety. Hatred. Despise. She then steps back a clear distance form Ariel and groans deeply as if containing the screams of torture.
Darthrafael: Soon, their journey brings them to a large graveyard just outside of the town. Some gravestones looks more recent than others, and a few graves look as though they were dug with a hurry.
Zyngard: Uyir chuckles "It seems the fates took us to a graveyard" He returns to whistling, a low, haunting melody this time, as he examines some nearby gravestones
When the group arrives at the graveyard, there is a tall figure standing by one of the graves. By their form, they are perceived to be male. This figure is dressed in a black gown style robe that reaches the ground, tied at the waist with grey rope, large Reaper style hood hiding their face, both hands hidden in the sleeves of the opposite arm.
This individual then moves towards Uyir gracefully, smooth as if gliding, as they appear to lack the bobbing motion of walking. They arrive close and come to a gentle halt, but do not introduce themselves. Without revealing their face, they simply ask a question in a low, grave and somewhat calming tone.
"I am seeking a child. This child is female. She is... indecent. Empowered. Dangerous. I request you direct me to her location."

Uyir looks at the hooded figure distrustfully. He didn't trust those who kept even the most basic of information of themselves, such as their appearance, private. However... assistance in dealing with the little girl would prove helpful, so he decided to give the figure the information he is aware of "I honestly have no idea where she is, but a large man known as Boris was the last person I know of who saw her. He should be near the center of town if you want to find him"
"I've... met enough people who put enough trust into their own weapons and carried them around, only to die when their weapons didn't work or backfired."
"Blacksmith huh? Well, I haven't got the foggiest to be honest. Haven't really been sightseeing that much. Whaddya need to use a forge for anyway? Gonna put another barrel on that gun of yours?"
Renard looked at the kid solemnly. They'd been through a lot, he deduced.
"It's my pride and joy. I'd name it, if it weren't embarrassing," he finally begins to say, scratching his head.
"I'd trust it with my life any day. Besides... can't complain when this baby picks up ladies like a magnet."
"Something like that," replies Renard to the kid's inquiry.
Renard turns around to look at the castle standing on the plateau. He reaches out with his hand-- and closes his fist on the castle.
"You don't look so big from where I'm standing... did you really think you were gonna throw a party and not invite Renard?"
He smirks as he crosses his arms.
"Alright, time to get moving," he says, motioning the two to follow as he starts to walk somewhat in the direction of the plateau.

Ace flinches as they glance at the figure. They slightly lift one of their hands, which is clenched into a fist.

A response is heard from this figure, to the likes of a slow, dull rattle that lasts but a few seconds, after which the figure remains still for close to a minute before shifting to one side, facing the others of the group for an equal duration.
The figure departs, first turning slowly, then gliding as it had previously through the cemetery toward town, passing through grave stones as if they were immaterial objects. Once beyond the graveyard limits the individual fades, no longer seen as then a gentle tremor quakes the ground. At that moment a black Raven passes overhead of the group, circling three times while calling out in a haunting shrill before it too departs, swooping low above their heads on its way toward town.

Meanwhile, he turned upwards, looking at the machinery that he had come up to investigate.
The machine is unlike any Jack has seen before. Several valves, pipes and liquid containers are attached to the device, which makes a humming noise, occasionally crackling with electricity.
Uyir chuckles "It seems the fates took us to a graveyard" He returns to whistling, a low, haunting melody this time, as he examines some nearby gravestones
None of the gravestones really seem that special, though a few stand out. Including one that says 'RIP Lunch'. In the distance, Uyir can spot a tomb, but it's been opened.
Orson hops down and is given the cookie, while Boris is not looking Orson throws the cookie away, and walks back into the main church room and goes back outside, and looks around a bit.
Orson trips over the snowman that looks like him, landing face-first in the snow.

Ei giggles.
"You want to kill him, huh? Sounds like a fun way to spend some time. Though, wouldn't it be more fun if we annoyed him, tease him or whatever first, and then leave him alone for a bit so he thinks he's free, and then kill him? I'm fine with either option anyway."
Ei sits down in the snow, and reaches into it, before pulling out a snowman that looks like Ariel.
"This is him, right?"
Vernon, with an immediate idea, looks back out the doorway they had entered. He does exit once more, finds a nearby tomb which he enters with Ki, and removes the timber lid off the inner coffin with relative difficulty. Vernon grips the lid of the coffin, shifting it slowly to one side.
Inside the coffin, is a corpse. Or what's left of it, at least. It's not much more than bones and some remains of clothes. The skeleton is clenching a key that looks older than the skeleton itself, made out of bone.
Renard looked at the kid solemnly. They'd been through a lot, he deduced.
"It's my pride and joy. I'd name it, if it weren't embarrassing," he finally begins to say, scratching his head.

"Hoping to get to the castle huh? Well, maybe we'll get lucky and find a way in."
Maras turns to Ariel
"Got rid of the girl yet, Ari?"
The second half of Annie's face conforms to the smile as her eyes narrow with sinister appeal. Her breath becomes heavy with excitement. As if she is unable to contain her following actions, she grabs Ei, cupping her hands about her jaw and kisses her tight upon the mouth. Pulling away and releasing Ei, she responds with a confirming nod.
"He has been my toy... I am with him already. But sure, you can use that for yourself." Annie refers to the snowman. But her face then drops with the introduction of another, not so pleasurable matter. "Another has come to visit him. This other one I can not stand to be near. He has ruined my fun. For that... I will kill Ariel soon." She smiles again. "But first more fun. Yes.... Let us torment him."
Inside the coffin, is a corpse. Or what's left of it, at least. It's not much more than bones and some remains of clothes. The skeleton is clenching a key that looks older than the skeleton itself, made out of bone.
Vernon feels a great relief at the sight of the key and doesn't hesitate to take it. With the key in his pocket, he turns to Ki, smiling. "Now, let's get the hell out of this god forsaken place and find the second."
They head back to the stairs that they entered from, and arrived once more at the surface within the tomb.

He smirks as he crosses his arms.
"Alright, time to get moving," he says, motioning the two to follow as he starts to walk somewhat in the direction of the plateau.
Ariel glances back at Annie, kinda happy she had backed off, also pleased by the new, unhappy look on her face. And that's the impact my family has on evil he thinks.
"That's fine by me," He said with a shrug, following on with Maras and Renard; "Let's get this show on the road."
He removes the second bottle of alcohol from his pocket and casts it aside.
The machine is unlike any Jack has seen before. Several valves, pipes and liquid containers are attached to the device, which makes a humming noise, occasionally crackling with electricity.
"Hm..." Jack continues to look up at it for a moment before kneeling down again, removing his armor, weapons, shield, and other bits of equipment that contain metal. Pulling up the rope he had used to climb up to the belfry, he throws it so that it passes over a sturdy-looking section of the machinery and with some caution begins climbing the rope to get closer to the machine, trying to get a better look at it.

He should be near the center of town if you want to find him"
Renard looked at the kid solemnly.

The machine is unlike any Jack has seen before. Several valves, pipes and liquid containers are attached to the device, which makes a humming noise, occasionally crackling with electricity.
None of the gravestones really seem that special, though a few stand out. Including one that says 'RIP Lunch'. In the distance, Uyir can spot a tomb, but it's been opened.
Inside the coffin, is a corpse. Or what's left of it, at least. It's not much more than bones and some remains of clothes. The skeleton is clenching a key that looks older than the skeleton itself, made out of bone.
"Hoping to get to the castle huh? Well, maybe we'll get lucky and find a way in."
Maras turns to Ariel
"Got rid of the girl yet, Ari?"
Uyir meanders the direction of the opened tomb "That looks like something which should be adventurous!"
