As the Scourer pulls in to the docks, Swoorl stands in the mists of the backdrop, this 'small port town' is nothing short of a bustling city itself. Standing as a door between other continents and Spindol, its structures are a mishmash of numerous cultures from southward lands. The ship is waved in and tie proceedings are undergone quickly. Paying guests are ushered down onto the damp docks first, luggage in tow, followed by those who worked their travel fees off envoyage. As the Scourer is primarily a cargo ship, inhabitants are encouraged to leave the scene quickly with little so much as a goodbye from longstanding crew. Other ships come and go just as the Scourer, transporting all manner of things to and fro.
Port Scouur
The three-masted Gheist pulls in through Scouur with a little more than enthusiasm, tilting more than pleasantly to the right before gliding in to dock. The ship's doors swing open and planks are set to allow passengers to leave at their leisure, the Gheist carried all sorts from wealthy merchants to archeologists and adventurers. Scouur was a desert town, part native, part foreign, many travelled here for its unique relic aspect, the surrounding sands seemed to contain endless archeological wonders and artifacts, uncovering such was paramount to fortune. Stalls set up throughout the city's walkways sold endless streams of odd-looking objects, most of which was useless garbage and forgeries.

Etorias Ahmes
A bright sunlight shines upon the ships approaching Port of Scouur as if it were to welcome their arrival, while a warm wind breeze through the surround embracing the ships atop the sea. Once the ship reached its stop, Etorias along with numerous others exit the ship rather swiftly since these ships only stop briefly for business. Arriving at Port Scouur, a smell of heated sands and the dry atmosphere from the surrounding speaks for the place perfectly as to what kind of environment Scouur stays in. Knowing that Scouur was a desert town, Etorias came here being more or less prepared. He had brought a long cape with hood for both his travel within Scouur and the matter of hiding his identity and his golden armor from gathering any unnecessary attention and possible troubles. The cape however is not at its top condition, through enduring a rough journey before reaching Scouur, a couple of spot is either torn or ripped apart exposing the golden color underneath.
After exiting the port area of Scouur, Etorias walks around the city's street filled with stalls for business. After a long journey to reach Scouur, Etorias decides to find a place where he could rest for a bit in order to recover from his travel.
Pearce walked off the ship and onto the dock, being ushered by one of the members of the crew. This was Port Gate, it said so on a sign that Pearce could see hanging off one of the buildings bordering the harbour. The voyage had been alright, although Pearce was fairly certain that he had been overcharged for the journey. He checked how much money he had left, it totalled 9 silver coins. His tail twitched, indicating his slight irritation at that fact.
Pearce saw the others heading off the ship, some with luggage in tow and others without. The Foxkin had decided to travel light, after all this was a bustling city under the guise of a port town. He was certain he could find things like food and shelter here. He looked over the buildings huddled near the harbour, they appeared to have been built based on the designs of various different cultures. However architecture was not the reason why Pearce had come here.
He had come here with a purpose, to gain experience. Pearce was a member of an order, or coven, of warlocks and witches called "The Arcanum Guild". Well, at least he would be soon. Currently he was just an apprentice, trying to learn the magic of the order. He, like the other apprentices, had been sent out in order to gain knowledge of the arcane and to have a chance to put their skills to use. Pearce had learnt about the order several years ago, a group of warlocks and witches which put their powers to use for good. In fact the order had very strict rules against misusing their powers. Anyone who was found to be using their magic for wicked purposes were exiled with their powers bound, or worse.
So Pearce had decided to go to Gate. Where better to gain experience than Gate and the towns beyond it? That was what Pearce thought as he walked onto the harbour. Of course there was the issue of what to do once he arrived. There had to be some mages, wizards, witches or other practitioners of magic somewhere in this city. Pearce began heading toward the city, stopping only to look over a merchant's stall which had been set up in hopes of attracting customers from newly arrived ships.
Having found nothing he wanted to buy, Pearce continued into the city. The street was fairly busy, Pearce could see a few other stalls set up, each of which was attracting some share of the customers. However, he was not here to shop. The first thing he needed to do was to find a place to stay. A tavern or inn would be ideal, assuming he could afford to stay there for more than a few nights. Unfortunately, Pearce had never been in this city before and had no idea where to find an inn. He wandered further into the city, passing by an elf with a quiver on her back.
Scouur - Elgar
Elgar stumbled out onto the warm docks of Scouur, a warm breeze licking at his face and a harsh sun shining on above. "Arid..." He hopped out of the way of some shipsmen loading and unloading various parcels, the Gheist had mostly been carrying passengers as its cargo but there was a lot of baggage associated with the richer of travellers. Elgar quickly hurried along the docks and into the city proper, while he was dressed for warmer climates, he would not fare well in the harsh sands of the surrounding desert.
Scouur was a tropical oasis comprised of tents and sandy buildings, the surrounding sands are said to be littered with half pillars and lost artifacts, making this a perfect grounds for archaeological research and digs, as Elgar walked through the townspace he noted a surprisingly large number of street merchants and beggars looking for fresh travellers off the dock that they could try to scam. Elgar instinctively grasped his sword over his shoulder, it was his only real possession at the moment, he rearranged its sheath to lay against the lower flat of his back so that it would be more difficult to snatch without his noticing.
After a brief wander Elgar seemed to make it to a relatively nice looking inn, he had found that the street people were more eager to approach those that looked as if they possessed wealth. The lower floor of the inn was a semi-nice looking tavern with a fountain in the middle of its sandstone floor, which, like most other things in the city, was littered with sand. The tavern area was mostly sandstone but the upper levels seemed to be made out of some dark wood.
Elgar decided to take a seat before asking about rooms, he took a seat in a booth and noticed that the etchings in the sandstone walls, which he previously believed to be decorative, were actually menu items, there were several currencies listed, elgar suspected that in these lands gold was gold.
The blind girl sat near the back of the stationed boat, stationed at Port Scouur. She was waiting for the massive rush of adventurers to clear away from the walkway connecting the boat to the port. She could feel the fresh, warm winds rush through her hair with the sunlight shining on the boat, listening to the movement of the massive wave moving out of the boat.
"It's such as beautiful day. I bet it probably looks better to people who can see though."
She said, sighing from this statement as she could hear the sound of people walking lessen, the cue for her to to make her leave towards the port.
She began unsteadily moving down the walkway until she made it onto the port, moving her head to look around.
'Oh wait. I'm blind.'
Frowning as she remembered this, she still couldn't break the habit of looking around as if she had sight. After walking off the port and onto the solid city ground, she felt somewhat more confident with her Blind Sense, moving more steadily as she sensed most of the city.
'Ah... What am I supposed to do now... What can a blind person do to find more knowledge... The adventurers in books usually go to an inn or something so I might as well go as well.'
Bura began moving through the town somewhat worried as she made her way into what she thought could be a Inn. She saw the Auras of most of the people in there, the blobs looking as if they were drinking and talking so it was worth a shot.

Karelleth stood by the side of the boat with a smile, her hair blowing along with the breeze. Her gaze shifted up towards the large buildings and took some time to be amazed by them. She didn't have long to admire the view of the city though before being pushed along with the crowd of people. Her grip on her luggage tightened and she prayed she wouldn't get tossed aside into the water. As she reached solid ground she turned and yelled out to the crew on the Gheist.
"Thank you!" Karelleth wasn't sure if the sounds of the bustling people were too loud and they couldn't hear her, or if they were just ignoring her. She decided instead on focusing on how to proceed. It didn't seem to be getting much darker so she guessed that she'd have some time to explore the town a little. On the other hand, she thought, she might as well find a place to stay now before they're taken. She quickly began to walk through the crowd, looking around for any indication of an inn, tavern, or just a rentable room.
The young woman passed by many stalls, stopping a few times to admire the items they were selling. However, she didn't bother to buy anything. Though she did find some things interesting, she decided that throwing her money about wasn't the best of ideas. She wasn't exactly sure where she was headed, but she figured that there would have to be more than a few places to stay, judging by the sort of people that were arriving from the ship. Eventually, Karelleth noticed a building that happened to be an inn and wandered into it. As she looked around and tried to examine her surroundings, she bumped into Bura.
"Oh, my bad! Sorry!" Her words came out fast but clear as she looked the girl up and down.
Bura was walking towards the massive blob of auras she felt that could probably be the inn, passing through the market place. Or at least, what she thought was the market place since there was a large amount of people talking and bartering.
'With all of the people walking so far, it's a wonder I haven't been pushed or pushed yet.'
After moving inside and using her Blind Sense to get a rough image of what the inn looked like, she was sure this was the inn. Probably.
She was standing near the door of the inn, she felt someone bump into her, causing her to turn around to the person her bumped into her. 'Huh. And once again, I've proven myself wrong.'
She rubbed her head while sighing, listening to the what she could roughly sense was a person that was slightly taller than her apologizing. Looking roughly in the direction where Karel was, her chilling green eyes looking as if they could peer deep into someone's soul.
"Ah no, it's my fault for standing near the doorway. Anyway, nice to meet you I guess."
She held out her hand in the direction where she thought Karel might be, slightly worried about the safety of the contents in her backpack. Her Aura didn't seem to be too bad, being somewhat tinted blue-ish.

Karelleth nodded, her gaze moving to make eye contact with her. She gave a warm smile and lifted her arm to shake Bura's hand.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Karelleth, but feel free to call me whatever." Her words slowed down to a normal speed as she spoke, "You wouldn't happen to be from around here, would you? Or work here?" She looked at her once again, figuring it was more likely that she didn't work at the inn. However, she asked anyways simply out of curiosity. Her eyes wandered around the room and to those who were in it. To her dismay, she wasn't able to find anyone who looked like they might own the place or work it.
Bura turned her head around, looking like she was looking around the inn. Sure she had Blind Sense and Aura Sense, but everything was just blurry to her, not being able to fully pin point much without losing the rest of the picture. She sighed when she heard the person in front of her ask her whether or not she came from here.
"Ah, I was hoping to ask you the same question. My name's Buraindo, although I guess you can just call me Bura for convince. Also... What does the inn look like? If you didn't notice, I'm kind of blind."
She waved her hand in front of her eyes to emphasize.
Scouur - Elgar
After deciding on some cheap menu items, Elgar dropped some small change into the waiting staffmember's tray, A few minutes later a tray was brought over carrying breads and dried fruits and things, Elgar thanked the staff from his seat and begun his solo luncheon. The food wasn't the best, it was comprised of various native ingredients, but it was filling nonetheless. Elgar slowly munched away at his plate and when he was done he left it at his table as seemed to be appropriate custom according to others around him. Elgar made his way to the main desk situated behind the fountain and between a couple of arching stairways that led up to the first balcony and no doubt further up to the rooms.
Elgar was about to speak but noticed that in a similar fashion to the menus, room prices were scratched into a backboard. Elgar hummed over what would suit, but it appeared as if he could only afford a small room for a night before his funds would be depleted. "Small room for one night please." Elgar passed over the last remaining of his coins in exchange for a key, the following day he would have to search out for some work clearing rats or something to earn enough money to survive.
Gate
"What do you mean unruly?!" Grol slammed his fists onto one of the round inn tavern tables, glaring menacingly at the apron-clad barkeep who was trying to persuade him to leave. "Listen here buddy." Grol lifted slightly the man by the collar of his shirt. "I'll leave when I want to leave, you hear me?!" Grol threw the man back down. "Now bring me a couple more of them Ales!" Grol was a huge man whose muscles just screamed barbarian or pit-figher. He had since lost his shirt in one tavern scuffle and was suspectedly looking to start another. "YOU THERE, give me your drinks." Grol was reaching for another customer's drinks where were freshly lined on a tray that had been brought over not too long ago.

"Oh, well, that's unfortunate.." Karelleth began. She took a quick glance around before continuing. "Well, it would appear that it's made of sandstone, and there's a fountain over there," She stuck out her arm and pointed before realizing her mistake. "Wait, sorry, I mean.. There's a fountain in the middle of the room, behind you. Near the fountain, well, behind it, are a few staircases which I would assume led to some rooms." She tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear as she took another look around the inn. "There are quite a few people in here as well, but I suppose that's to be expected in an inn. Anyways, between the two staircases is a desk where I guess you'd rent a room out." Her gaze moved to the desk as she spoke, watching others trade their money for a key. "And then, of course, there are some tables around." Kare took a breath and bit her lip before starting once again.
"I apologize if this offends you in any way, but, uhm, what's it like? Being blind, I mean. Wait, nevermind, that was rude. I'm sorry." She bit her lip again and tapped her foot as she continued to look around the inn for nothing in particular.
Hikaru being a new roamer(thats what flamelings call other flamelings who go out the fire pits) follows advice from an elder flameling which is go to a warm place like the dessert then go to a normal and then go to a cold place if you want. hiraku gets excited from human culture and wants to be a "hero" or "adventurer".
so he sets of to a ship going to port scouur with no money at all he hides in the back and when they got there he just turns to fire and go out a window and luckily enough nothing burnt he can feel the temperature change it feels wierd for hikaru he wants to change into a flameling but he thinks he might cause a riot of some sorts because some flamelings when they got caught the people tried to kill it with fire(yes very smart people kill them with fire good job)
He gets enthusiastic about the food, small trinkets and the armor he wants to buy all of them but he's brok.so he goes out into the city-ish part and searches for an inn from what he read thats where cool heroes and adventureres go to start their epic stories or adventures
((By the way flamelings don't speak english or whatever they speak flamelings only speak their native tongue the elders would put a spell rune that translates their native speaking to english it spells out the words in fire like with subtitles))
Bura nodded when she heard being blind dead unfortunate.
'Unfortunate is an understatement, but she is right.'
Hearing Karel fumble around her words as she tried to describe the surrounding area around them amused Bura, bringing a small smile to her face as it took her all of her strength not to start laughing right there and now.
'Well... She's trying, and that's what matters.'
Bura could already sense a majority of what Karel said, but it was still nice to see that someone decided to try and help a blind person.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the question that Karel asked.
"O-Oh? Ah no, it's fine. I get asked that question many times. Being blind is like... Being blindfolded by four blindfolds as you're sent across a bridge. At first it's scary since you're not able to see, but then, ironically enough, you begin to see more than you could without sight. The main option for blind people who want to 'see' is through blind sense. Blind sense makes use of hearing and feeling to right sense your environment. I, for example, have a higher sense of feeling as I can feel through vibration. Does that make sense? I hope that clears some things up."
((Sorry if it's short. I can't really tell since did this on my phone. I'm currently going to an Airport to fly to Arizona.))
It didn't take too long for Pearce to find an inn. It was an aged building with a tavern on the ground floor and rooms above. The first thing he noticed was the scent of alcohol and roasting meat. The latter made Pearce feel a little hungry, perhaps he would buy dinner before getting a room for the night. He opened the wooden door coated in faded paint shortly after an elven woman entered. The scent of a roasted meal grew stronger once he was inside, as did the noise.
The bar was apparently fairly popular as several patrons had come for an ale. Due to this, Pearce had trouble finding a table. It took him a few moments to find one that was free and sat down, not too far from the elf who had entered he bar before him. Now that he was sitting down, Pearce had an opportunity to look around the tavern. There was a fireplace in one wall, which contained only some ash and charred wood and not any fire, and a bar that took up almost the entirety of the wall opposite the door. When Pearce's gaze had moved to the door he noticed a pair of rather annoyed looking people exiting the bar. He momentarily wondered why they were so annoyed, but then that question was answered.
A large, unruly man was yelling and being generally rude to both the customers of the bar and the staff. He was shouting for more ale, despite the fact that it seemed like the barman no longer wanted to serve him, and had even resorted to taking drinks off other customers. If that wasn't bad enough, the man was also very loud. It hurt Pearce's sensitive ears. He tried to ignore the man, but whenever he opened his mouth to yell again Pearce winced. He considered confronting the man, but he was beaten to it by the elven woman.
She told him to be quiet, something that Pearce would have liked to tell the man. He stood up, he might as well let his thoughts be known just as the elf did. Besides, perhaps knowing that there was opposition from more people might convince the man to head home. Now standing not too far away from the elven woman, Pearce spoke.
"You are being very loud and unruly," Pearce said in a stern, cold tone, "please stop it."
Despite any hopes that Pearce might have had about the man leaving peacefully, he doubted that the unruly man would. As he stood there, awaiting the man's response to both his and the elf's thoughts, he was watching for a sign of hostility. HE was thinking that if the man was hostile that he would start a fight. If a fight was inevitable, then Pearce would have to rely on dodging the man's attacks as a hit from the huge man would be painful and dangerous.
"WHY I." Grol, spinning, raised a fist but hesitantly transformed it into a pointed index aimed at wood elf away. "YOU- YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO." He punched the very table he had slammed his fist on before, sending it and its contents clattering towards the floor, his strike had snapped the table's grounded post uncleanly in two. The brute of a man made a dive towards the tankards of ale from before, knocking a few patrons trying to hold him down out of his way quite easily. Before he could reach the tankards they were slid away from his grasps. Grol then turned to an interjection by a newer patron.
"DO YOU WANT TO START SOMETHING MATE." Grol lifted an emptied tankard from near his side and threw it at the kitsune fellow, but through his hazed vision he sent the cup clattering into a wall far right. This apparent miss angered him and, gritting his teeth, he began wading through the crowded tables towards the foxman. "I'll show you who can't aim properly." as he waded, knocking over patrons and their meals alike, Grol stopped momentarily to smash a table dramatically and lift a portion of it as a makeshift club, no doubt giving himself numerous splinters in the process.
Pocketing the key to his room, Elgar decided to look around the town with the last few hours he had before sundown. The immediate vacinity outside of the inn/tavern was a circle of cobbled sandstone surrounding a number of general trade stores and other more specialised stores such as a tailors. It seemed only logical as many archeologist would travel here to set up shop and would need long term investment gear as well as goods on a daily basis. Elgar peered in on some of the displays but knew for a fact he could not afford anything.
Just then his window shopping activities were cut short by a peircing squeal from somewhere to the north behind where the inn was situated. Elgar grasped the hilt of his sword and made a break for the curving roads that would lead him to where he estimated the sounds originated. Upon closing in the sound of thudding hoofs and mangled snarls became apparent and the sources of all sounds became immediately obvious.
Seven spindley lizardesque creatures swung from the back of a fat hog-like creature with at least six legs. Shoddy looking wooden aparatus swung with them, utilized to make a larger platform on the creature's back so that all seven could fit. The aparatus looked like an upside down pyramid platform with a series of rope pulleys and swings. Three of the kobolds stood in the middle of the platform, armed with bows, the rest were on the pulley-swings armed with crooks, liftings purses off the belts of merchants and travellers while the huge creature steamrolled along the cobble streets.

Scouur - Etorias Ahmes
Etorias continue his wandering among the various stalls that filled the streets, nothing in particular catches his attention so passes through the sales pretty fast, one after another. After his walk through the stalls, Etorias finally reach his destination which is a local inn where he could use some resting after a long journey. His thoughts was then interrupted by a loud squeal from somewhere to the north behind where the inn was located, Etorias rest his idea of resting for the time being and headed for the direction of the sound. After a short sprint, Etorias arrive at the scene where he found the source of the loud sound in the distant ahead of him. The culprits seems to be a total of seven lizardman riding what looks like a fat hog with more than six legs in the least, it is rather difficult to count properly in such situation.
Etorias immediately grab the hilt of his sword in a swift movement but stop midway before pulling his sword from its sheath, a clear guidance given by his deity stops him from drawing his sword. Instead, Etorias quickly assisting the peoples along street to safely get them away from path of the hog-like creature.
Pearce barely flinched when the tankard took flight, it wasn't because he was acting brave but because it missed by quite some distance. The man who threw it, the same one who was being loud and obnoxious earlier, had not taken Pearce's suggestion well. Rather, it served to further enrage him and caused him to direct that anger towards Pearce. The elf, who had also told the unruly man to be quieter, managed to get away with only being yelled at. She did seem to be on his side at least, having told him to watch out for the tankard.
"I have no wish to fight you, but if you attempt to attack me I will retaliate" Pearce said.
As the man practically waded through the tables towards Pearce, brandishing a sort of makeshift club made from a smashed table, he instinctively reached for a dagger. It was obvious that the man would not back down from a fight unless Pearce made him do so. Perhaps if he held a knife to the man's back, then he would calm down. Pearce would try not to kill him in a fight, assuming he could get away without being killed himself. Pearce had to be careful, he doubted that the enraged man would grant him the same mercy.
Pearce would have to use his speed to his advantage. He drew his copper dagger as he readied himself for what was, most likely, an unavoidable fight. He chose it as there was no need to use his athame, at least there wasn't yet. He would keep his spell as a surprise for later. He tried to move behind the huge man, moving past the tables that had been toppled over, smashed or both. He moved lightly, using his skills in stealth to do so. All he had to do was dodge until he could get close enough, either to strike or to convince the man to give up.
Of course that sounded easy enough in Pearce's head, but the more rational side of him said that dodging the attacks would be difficult. He could use the spell that would reduce the severity of the man's attacks. It was a simple hex, and it was the only one he knew. Perhaps it could give him an advantage if things became dire. But what of the elf? The man had yelled at her just for telling him to be quiet. Although Pearce appeared to be the only target, he could attempt to fight her or any one of the other patrons.
While Hikaru dashes between shops he hears a loud squeal from a few blocks away he thinks it this might be the hero/adventurer begining he will get so he dashes to the direction of the sound when he gets there he sees lizardmen thats riding a hog that has six legs he wants to fight it badly
He chooses his prefered stance and his eyes start to glow a fiery red and his gauntlet's symbol start to glow and burns in a raging fire ball and he charges straight at it and jumps for a powerful punch

Port Scouur - Bura
Gate - Inn
Scouur - Elgar
