(( You know, if we've got four arenas for regular matches and we don't care about NPCs, non-Fallen Angels can duke it out in there to speed it up. Next match for the Nomies is Glaive vs. Tak. Fallen is Garret vs. Rogan ))
((The fight was pre-determined in PMs, so please dont yell at me for PowerPlaying.))
Zicka and Alice took their positions as the fight began. Suddenly, Alice became a blur and sent a flurry of fists at Zicka, who didnt have the time to react to stop her. He immediately created a variant of the darkness shield he used back in central that covered his whole body, making him seem completely pitch black, and it absorbed the attacks Alice sent after it was formed.
She's really fast. Zicka thought. My shield wont last long if she keeps on pressing... so i'll get out of her way. Zicka then began flying up and out of Alice's reach. Alright then, lets see how this works out. Zicka then summoned as many Mock-tainted as he could, trying to swarm Alice. Zicka knew this wouldnt end the fight, but he thought it might at least weaken Alice.

(( Due to lack of movement in the RP and the fact that I have only one thing to do to move things along, I'm going to be interrupting the tournament. Whether or not we decide to continue it post this event will be at your discretion. ))
[Tobias]
Too much time had past for me to just remain sitting here, drafting impossible spells. "I won't wait any longer!" I shouted at Quincy, which was more along the lines of talking to myself. "I've been waiting for this since I figured out the pattern, having to delay any longer will make me go even further insane. I'm executing the plan now, with or without my rational mind."
"You're being an impatient idiot." The hallucination chided, being quite insulting. "If you try to do it and the participants realize you've pulled one over on them before they are properly fatigued and roughed up, you'll have to deal with a lot more resistance. Are you really willing to kill anybody in your way to reach your goal?"
"They already killed Fiora and you." I added, nearly out the door already. "I do not want anybody to die trying to fruitlessly stop me, but I will not hesitate to kill any and all who get between me and revenge." I left the small library, although Quincy caught up instantly since he's just an illusion to myself. There weren't many paths around the tournament grounds, but almost anywhere could be accessed by utilizing the Labyrinth. Since I had summoned it, the living maze bent it's halls to suit my destination: the main arena.
The hyperbola-shaped colosseum stood taller than most like it, my viewing pavilion being near the middle height-wise. I watched the battle between The Vampire and the Robot, their movements slow and non-hostile. It was more along the lines of watching two old friends catch up, but I didn't really have the time for that. Snapping my fingers, the cloth 'shaders' (( I wasn't really sure what the word for this was. They are large pieces of fabric designed to block out the sun. )) ripped away, revealing their frame were parts of a specially crafted magic circle. All five arenas had this, although the center one was the largest obviously. It technically was not the world's largest arcane array, since the old interior wall of the Central City had an engraved runic pattern that would summon spiritual guards to protect the inhabitants. Either way, this would do perfectly in order to cast a single ritual. People in the audience slowly drew their attention toward the rigging above them, the enchanted alloy rods glowing with energy.
"Sorry to interrupt your duels, my warriors, but I couldn't wait to display the fruits of my labors." I announced, mimicking it to all of my clones and having the air carry our voices so anyone on the grounds could hear. "Long ago, I traded my ability to sleep for a single spell, one that would open a doorway out of Aer. That is how I escaped. Unfortunately, it is impossible to cast it again without the perfect energy to area ratio, so returning has proven difficult until now. Those pipes are part of a grand spell called the Infinity Focus. It allows me to completely control all of the magic that it overlaps. This includes every participant's, every spectator's, as well as the natural forces. Inside of this zone, I am the controller. So, to hold up my end of the promise, I will open a portal back to Aer. Some of you, starting with the furthest section of the crowds, will begin to feel your energy drained. Don't worry, for you will be hosting my return to Aer. I made a promise to destroy the Tainted, but what better way is there to remove these weeds than by digging up their roots?"
With a flick of my wrists, the true show began. Lights danced around the audience, slowly sucking away the untapped energy they possessed. I wouldn't need the power of the stronger few, such as the Fallen Angels, until my connection began to become more and more unstable. The focus shimmered into view, swirling with the potential power I had at the end of my fingertips. Unfortunately, I'd never get to utilize this strength for myself, but opening the ultimate rift would be good enough for me. Having the winds support me and carry me up into the air, a deep blue circle appeared just above me. Keeping this open was the responsibility of the audience. Flying through it, I could feel the air humming with power that was always lacking in Eternia. I almost got whiplash just from the atmosphere difference.
"Titaint." I declared, now in the Divine Dimension. "You will die today."
The silence was tangible. I had allowed my mind to whir as the quiet continued. However, my thoughts were interrupted by the booming voice of Stormbringer. As I analyzed his statement, I turned towards Relic "It was nice meeting you, but I must be off." Turning on my heels, I maneuvered my way towards the center of the Labyrinth. There was no chance in Hell that deity was leeching my magic!
[Alice]
So, this as awkward. I had begun to summon a Wicked to repel these Tainted doppelgängers, but our battle was interrupted by a booming voice which reminded me of thunder. A distinct voice in my head cried for liberation from his machinations. However, it was stifled as I drifted into unconscious. I felt it. A call. Titaint required my services. How I knew that was an enigma, but it felt right.
The Whistler. He would be the first to pursue me. Or so, at least my hallucinated form of Rational Thought claims, which was correct. I could almost sympathize with the man, having my body run by primal instinct instead of primarily intellect. Sure enough, my mind was correct. The buffoon had pursued me into the land of the Gods, a dimension he had no right to step foot in.
"Rani, right?" I asked, choosing not to immediately head toward Titaint. If I was thinking straight, then I'd remember that even the psycho's enhanced physical abilities couldn't go above around twenty miles per hour, which would likely make my use of Godspeed far too fast for him to handle. "I really didn't think that you of all people would risk your life to try to stop me. I don't really have time to let you stall me, since the gods are likely rushing around trying to adapt to my schedule. If you want to fight, then I'll honor you with a duel." With this said, I reached for my belt, toward small loop of fabric that held my sword hilt. Just touching the thin, smooth piece of enchanted metal activated the blade to appear. Composed of (mostly) solidified energy, my katana was not a force to be reckoned with. The blade itself was a dazzling, pale blue blame like you'd find on any other katana, but the thing was it was made of overlapping bolts of electricity. The webbing that poked out from the blade was rather small, but occasionally as part would shoot out and strike the air.
"On the other hand, you can back down." I offered, with a shrug. "I don't really want to fight you, yet." This man, despite his issues, had just as much potential as any Fallen Angel.
[Demi]
Tobias had pulled one over on all of us. Could this be some twisted plan for revenge against Dimitri for sending his children to kill everyone that he loves? No, this was prepared in advance, so he must have been planning this since even before the tournament began. Maybe, just maybe, he did this because of losing his assistant. "Garrett, let's go!" I shouted to my half brother, who was nearby. Flight, despite what some scholars will tell you, is a universal concept. Every manipulated element can, in some way or another, fly. Air users manipulate what is around them, Aquamancers can swim in a pool of levitated water. Heck, even Earth mages could raise columns from the ground and maneuver themselves throughout the air. Wings of fire would be cool, but completely ineffective due to it being hard to catch wind. It was hard to stand on fire, so a floating platform was out. With a sigh, I summoned jets of flame beneath my feet and propelled myself toward the portal Tobias created. If he was still there, there might be time left to prevent anything stupid from happening.
Zicka took a moment to think as Tobias interrupted his fight with Alice, who looks like she's been possessed or something. Destroying the Tainted... digging up their roots... returning to Aer.... Suddenly, everything clicked in Zicka's head. He was going to fight Titant in an attempt to kill him. This was an opportunity to stop every tainted once and for all- Zicka's ultimate goal was within reach.
Without a moment's delay, Zicka flew up into the portal to Aer, following two people other than Tobias who had beat him there. One was already confronting Tobias, who had summoned a sword. The other had just gotten through the portal. Zicka took a step or two back, knowing that if a god were to fight someone, no-one should get in the way.

I felt it. Father was practically shouting through the dimensional barriers separating us, jamming his urgency into my brain like a pie into an oven. Leaping with strength I hadn't summoned, I practically smashed my way through the portal, arriving on the Divine Plane. I took a step forward, and the air around me rippled as if I was a pebble tossed into a pond. As I continued on my path forward, ebony strings corrupted the air around me. The peaceful grass decayed like a fresh corpse, and the air became stale and unnatural.
I eventually noticed the presence of two other entities. A monstrous sea of fire was between them, and I recognized the catastrophic attack was aimed at Stormbringer. With a single swivel of my head, I noted the presence of two other entities. One I had already met, but he was much stronger than last time. But the other, it was like looking into the eye of a storm. Her presence was smothering me, and I felt quite sure she was one of the few second generation Gods capable of even surviving an attack from Stormbringer. Regardless, I had a job to do. I stoically remained poised and still, to prevent my own detection. I felt Titaint establishing some kind of ritual around me, but I couldn't ascertain the properties of the spell. I doubted they would recognize me in the heat of battle, but I still urged Titaint to hurry. I'd prefer avoiding being obliterated by a concentrated bolt of lightning, thank you very much.
I could hardly believe my senses. This guy, whoever he was, had just ripped open a portal to Aer. According to the beliefs of many mortals, that shouldn't be possible! The feat was certainly impressive, but I was also intrigued by what it meant for those of us down here on the surface.
The gods weren't untouchable.
I was sick of the gods. The way they treated us mortals was totally unacceptable. Initially, they were decently benevolent (or so I've heard), and in return they received worship for being so powerful. Then one day they decided we weren't good enough and tried to murder us all. And despite that they still expected us to worship them. But now I knew they could be reached. It was possible to retaliate against them for everything they'd done. If I could somehow recreate this effect with technology...
I made no effort to stop the spell, nor did I feel the need to. The long-term benefits of studying this one spell far outweighed the magical energy of the audience. Additionally, it wasn't like I had much (if any) magical energy to provide. I began psychically scanning the spell, mentally devouring all the information I that I possibly could.
[Garrett]
I mimicked my half-sister's spell and rocketed up to the portal. She was probably acting to defend our family, believing Tobes to be out on some crazed revenge-quest against Dimitri's family. She could easily be right, but even so, I considered the matter for myself.
Tobes was two things for certain - intelligent and arrogant. He loved being considered the best person around. If I had to guess, he would probably pursue the target that would earn him the most fame among the mortals, as he would probably leave Aer after the wetwork was done. Even he couldn't take on all the gods at once. Additionally, Tobes was a bit too smart to strike at a middleman for revenge. He had already handled the one who pulled the trigger, so if he were to trace revenge back to a source, he would trace it back to the source. The one who caused Fiora to shed her immortality in the first place. Both lines of thinking led to one place:
Titaint.
And boy, was I pleased by the idea of Titaint kicking the bucket.
I knew that my sister would be angry at me for what I was about to do, and rightfully so. She had no idea what Titaint had done to me. Nobody in Aer did, save for Titaint (and, at the moment, Tobes). But that didn't change the fact that I hated Titaint for what he did to me during those four years, and that I would seize this opportunity to kill him myself if I didn't think Tobes had a better shot and was already being pursued. Even if I couldn't deal the finishing blow, I would settle for being instrumental in Titaint's destruction.
As I shot through the portal, feeling the rush of Aer's atmosphere filling my magic, I saw Rani charging Tobes. I quickly took action, slicing a rift in front of me, which in turn led in front of Tobes. I intercepted Rani's attack with as much force as I could, but Rani was determined. I two-handed my blade and dug my feet into the ground, but still barely managed to skid to a halt just in front of Tobes. Rani was going to be extremely tough this time around, not to mention the fact that my sister would be here as well. But I, too, could draw magic from Aer, and I fully intended to win against both my opponents.
"Get a move on, Tobes," I commanded him, though being in no position to do so, "I'll handle these two."
In an instant, a newcomer appeared and blocked the man attacking Tobias. Then, they began to fight. Zicka flew over the battle to Tobias and began to talk. "Theres no time to waste, Tobias. If we're going to kill Titaint, we have to go now." There was eagerness mixed with anxiety and urgency in his voice, and therefore he sounded much different, thought this didnt bother him.
Titaint was going to die soon, and theres no way he could miss that, no matter the danger, and not even for the world. Stopping Titant was his ultimate goal, because the Tainted would die off quickly without him, and he had grown a fondness for humanity.
But then Zicka remembered something- theres still someone by the portal, and it wasnt clear which side they'd take. He took a glance back at her, worried that she might be a foe. She was definitely powerful, Zicka could tell.
Then, something stirred in him. He couldnt put it into words, but something became.... unlocked, that was the best way to describe it. But he had no idea what it was. And at the exact same time, his wand began to glow, and Zicka was unaware of this.
((I will explain that last paragraph sometime later.))

(( Just for comparison: if you've ever played Skyrim, read Titaint's dialogue in Cicero's voice. ))
[Tobias]
Demi, no doubt in pursuit of my neck, appeared before me in Aer. Garrett had followed us through the portal and intercepted Rani's strike. Perfect, an ally who'd be able to help me out with this plan. "I'll handle these two." He said, confidently. I nodded in agreement, seeing Titaint's former project appear as well.
"Fix your math." I commented, before Zicka appeared. He was looking quite well, which I figured was a part of him returning to Aer, but I'd rather give my healing technique the credit. "Titaint is too strong for any mortal to take on unprepared. If you'd like to help, stop the Tainted Girl."
With this said and done, it was time to activate Godspeed: Warp Drive and track Titaint down, which only took around two seconds at my speed. The Corruption God had a taste for classic architecture, I'll give him that. His temple was made of ebony marble, the black columns and floor accented by perplexing, purple patterns. He sat toward the center of the pavilion, watching my approach. His robes were the same: ever shifting, depicting scenes of horrible actions against humanity. Why he existed, I'd never know. How long he would exist was about to be determined. His eyes began to glow with a purple shine, different places he looked spawning deformed creatures that were his Elite Tainted. Luckily for me, I had already had my sword drawn, so I dispatched the bunch with relative ease. Could he be insulting me with such pathetic beings?
"Oh ho ho, look who we have here. Little Thunder Boy, hmm?" He examined, his voice rather annoying. Every sound he made was designed to mock me, to feel inferior. If there was a single weapon that could never be crushed, and I know Garrett would agree with this, it was my Ego. "I knew about your plan, ah, heard it from your father. I knew you'd target me, for it is what humanity demands, no? Heh, we'll see about who dies here today."
"My thoughts precisely." I replied, flickering for a moment. Of course, I had really been freeing us a bit more space by slicing up the columns and shredding the roof to nothing but a giant slab of rubble. The pebbles which once covered him were blown away from us by a strong gale. Plenty of room to fight. "You are going to be but the first to fall by my hand." I said, ironic due to what my plan was later.
The strings had compiled around me, and the ritual activated. Commands were given to me in an instant, and I knew what I had to do. Stormbringer had gone off to fight Father. I couldn't really assist in a fight between Gods, so Father settled on having me massacre the rest. Matchstick was an unreachable target, and would most likely follow Stormbringer. The one that had disabled the massive attack was one of Titaint's Chosen, so I couldn't hurt him.
I earnestly didn't wish to assault anybody with as fragile a state of mind as the other. I mean, he just tried attacking the Stormbringer! The narcissistic, magic-stealing deity that had kept his obscene power on the Mortal Plane! It was just... Silly. But then again, that attack WAS extraordinary. Well, I honestly don't know anymore. Well, that left only one option. I'm taking out the Shadow Angel. I guess this is our true battle.
[Vlad]
I was quite impressed, actually. Disabling the borders of Aer and gaining access!? Now I have never seen that occur, and I've been absorbing the memories of my children throughout the millennia since I woke up! This was a marvelous magical accomplishment, and my curiosity was avidly tempting me to follow the multiple others who had entered the portal. I had always wondered what properties Divine Magic has compared to regular Magic. Meh, I'm sure somebody has figured it out.
Either way, entering would be quite dangerous. Instead, I think I'll just a sample without entering. I veered closer to the portal and created a sanguine container. 'easy now' I thought, as this was a delicate procedure. I could accidentally destabilize the rift, or possibly destroy it entirely! Finally having sheared off a proper portion of the energy, I placed it in the container and assimilated it. It would be properly contained in my Arcolia, and I could summon it later to perform some tests. I was about to leave, when a pestilent presence stopped me.
'What do you want, you bloody succubus?'
((Also, I think I'm gonna scratch Lupe as a character. He's too similar to Vlad, and I want each of my character's to be unique. So, I will make a third character soon, but I would like to demote Lupe to a reoccurring NPC. Is that alright?))
Zicka nodded as Tobias told him to fight the Tainted girl, and left for Titaint. He looked over towards her- it was the girl in the ring he didn't finish fighting. Zicka took flight and went over towards her. He didnt say a thing. he simply stared at her a few moments. She was a mystery in Zicka's eyes, she was similar to him in the thought that Titaint had his hands on them at one point.
But that did not matter. Where you were, who you are or what you did does not matter, only what you can do and what you will do. She will try and kill Tobias, and save Titaint. I will try to stop her. This was our true battle. Nothing was holding us back. Zicka summoned a mock-tainted, and was shocked to see its quality. It was on par with regular Tainted. Perhaps this was a result of being back in Aer, Zicka thought. Or perhaps something else... Regardless, Zicka began to summon Tainted non-stop to fight the girl. He knew he needn't win, he must only stall her until Titaint was defeated.

My opponent made the first move. A small army of Tainted had been summoned to fend me off. However, my attention was captivated elsewhere. 'Unlocking full parameters. Security Level: F.A.T.H.E.R. Verified. Removing Seals... ... Agent A.L.I.C.E enabled to Level two. Access granted. Enacting Overdrive... Release successful. Permission to access the Reservoir? Password required.. Verified. Operative has been activated.' That mechanical voice filled my head. As it spoke, I felt multiple changes occurring just underneath my skin. I took a single step forward and-
[Third Person]
"Primary conscious has been temporarily disabled. Secondary conscious enabled." And suddenly, Alice changed. Physically, she was identical. But the way she carried herself was totally different. She didn't stand around, either. She disappeared in the crowd of Tainted and began systematically destroying each.
Over the course of approximately seven point six seconds, she destroyed the entire herd. She started physically. With one hand, she smacked a Tainted to the side. With the other, she cast a spell. The Tainted she had just hit illuminated briefly before imploding into hundreds of Taint-bullets that minced most of the mob. Only about five Tainted remained. Swiping her hand to the side, all of them liquefied and splattered against the floor one-by-one.
Turning to Zicka, she rushed forward. The air around her crackled as she approached the sound barrier. Then, in an inexplicable feat of strength, she smashed her fist straight into his chest. At the moment of impact, a cavitation bubble formed out of the oxygen in the air and imploded. A sonic boom followed as well.
Falling to her knees, Alice opened her mouth. A robotic tone spoke, with intermittent gasps for air thrown in. "Miscalculation for amount of energy utilized apparent. External influence altered capacity. Scanning for discrepancies... Father has been draining reserves. Does not effect results. Chances of fatality: Seventy-One percent."
((So... Tell me if this is Powerplaying. It probably is.))
((Technically it is, but it actually works out well with the situation. Also, new character. Was pre-approved in PMs, the only difference is a longer bio.
Name: Brom
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance: http://i.imgur.com/tLh9kIe.jpg
Height: 5'9"
Magic (If Applicable): Death Magic, similar to Zicka's, but much weaker. This includes a slight understanding of elemental spells as well.
Chosen Deity: None
Expertise: Brom is very light on his feet, and is able to charge his spells while on the move. However, the spells take longer to charge. And it is worth noting that he's only above average to human standards.
Equipment/Weaponry: A staff, made from a dead oak tree, enchanted so that it wouldnt break.
Bio: Brom lived in the northern mountains all his life. He was taught of the Tainted and to always avoid them if you couldnt kill them. When Brom was nine, a Tainted group attacked his village. Though most of the buildings were okay, his mother died. Brom felt like he was responsible for it, no matter what anyone said. His father had died long before, when he was hunting. He had no idea what to do anymore. He was nimble, but that didnt help much in the heat of battle without a weapon, and he was no good with one. A year later, He was considering suicide when he heard of a Fallen Angel giving magic lessons to those who wanted them for free. Surely this was a hoax? But it wasnt. Brom was trained under Zicka in the art of Death Magic. It would take many years to master, bur Brom's motivation to avenge his mother accelerated this process. Now, he practically lives with Zicka. Brom sometimes feels that Zicka is like a second father to him, though Zicka does not reciprocate these feelings. Brom is almost done with his studies, he just needs more practice is all.
Other: Pizza.
))
[Zicka]
The horde of Tainted Zicka summoned were destroyed in mere seconds. This girl was much different from the girl in the ring. In his shock, Zicka couldnt react to the punch she delivered. The force exerted was like nothing Zicka could imagine, and to follow it was a sonic boom. These worked together to rocket Zicka away at amazing speeds.
He tried to stop himself, but a white pillar did that for him. He was embedded halfway inside an enboy-white pillar, and sensed two immeasurably powerful beings nearby. One was Tobias, and the other Titaint. But right now, his goal was to get out of the pillar. He managed to get to the edge of the hole, and then fell out to the rubble below.
[Brom]
That was weird.
He had heard of a tournament to help stop the Tainted, and decided to participate. He lost his match, but was generally unhurt. Then, the host, who was impatient, revealed his plans- to go to Aer, and to drain the magic from the participants to fuel the spell. Brom watched as many people other than the host entered the portal, including his master, Zicka. With the shock of that over, Brom grabbed his staff and used what was left of his magic to levitate to the portal and go through.
Aer, the land of the gods, was magnificent. It was indescribable. His magic also completely restored, and he gained much more than his previous limit- he felt like he was on a magic high. Fighting soon broke out, but Brom only focused on Zicka. He had summoned Tainted to fight a strange girl who looked possessed. But the girl destroyed the Tainted, and punched his master so hard he flew off the horizon.
Brom stood shocked for a moment, before using this magic energy high to fly as fast as he could in the direction Zicka flew off in. No, no he cant be dead! Brom thought. Tears came to his eyes as he was flying. Zicka was almost like a father to him, and he couldnt lose him. Not like his mother. Not like his father.
Not again.

Alice released an Aura Pulse. About six hundred feet away, Zicka had crashed into her Father's stronghold. Perfect. 'Maintained mana capacity: 60%. Estimated time to reach destination: 1.034 seconds. Initiating movement.' In three strides, Alice had arrived at Titaint's abode.
Quickly identifying her target's location, Alice analyzed his current state. He was moderately hurt, but it was mostly internal injuries 'Miscalculated target's durability. Resume prior mission: Annihilate target.' Crouching like a puma, Alice leapt into the air. Her skin opened liked a gaping maw, and dozens of violet tendrils started hurdling towards him. Each one cracked and swung about like a whip. Each one slithered and lunged like a serpent.
[Vlad]
'What do you want, harlot?'
'Actually, the mortals call me Solaire now. And we both know the answer to that. You've awakened again, which means you're a threat to my sister and I. If not for the fact that dear Tobias was ravaging our realm as we speak, I would crush you where you stand.'
'Aw, it seems the typical divine ego is still enormous. And aren't you happy to see me? Just because Lupe isn't here to back me up doesn't mean you won't spare me. I still don't get why you two always liked Lupe better. Aren't I as handsome?'
'Actually it's more along the lines of Lupe being much simpler to control. It took us just the first three millennia to break his will, yet you're still going strong. Basically, we prefer your sibling because he didn't hold out as long. Earnestly, you're just doing it out of spite by now.'
'Hm, I wonder why! Maybe it's because you and Hidei eugenically created us via selective breeding! We're not dogs, Solaire!'
'Well, someone's got a bee in their bonnet. And besides, you wouldn't have even figured that out if Hidei didn't have a big fat mouth. Seriously, get over it. If you don't, we'll just have Lupe come and kill and absorb you. Be way less of a hassle. But since we're ever the saints, you get one last chance.
'Hm... Let me think about it. How about you take that offer and shove it right up your-'
'ENOUGH BROTHER! Haven't you learned you can't win!? They're Gods, we are merely the puppets they pull the strings behind. Just give in!'
'Oh, hey Lupe. I see you're the same tool you were the last time we spoke. What did they pull out of a child's nightmare that could've possibly made you such a wimp! I mean A'thery, Lupe! Did they dangle you at the seams above an endless void!?'
'... Maybe.'
'Lucky guess much!? That's exactly what we did. Yeah, once we figured he was scared of death it was a piece of... Oh what do the mortals call it. Cake?'
'Yeah, he started cowering like an infant. It was hilarious! I think we left him there for an extra decade just for entertainment!'
Wow, Hidei. That's low. Honestly, you're both pretty awful, by human standards at least. I think I'm done talking to you, so why don't you two go and ask Zona to find out how to kill you, or else I'll do it for him. By gals! See you in whatever afterlife the Gods are sent to! If it's just Hell, I'll be sure to meet you there!'
Cutting off the telepathic link, I collapsed on the grass. Those crazy Gods were gonna run me ragged!
We had all been betrayed. In a mere moment, Tobias had opened up a rift to the realm of Aer. The realm of the gods. This was a feat previously considered impossible, and yet he had done it. I suppose if anybody could, it was ol' Tobias.
I'd had enough. As I saw Tobias fly through the rift, I saw Rani, Alice, Garrett, Zicka and Demi follow suit. I now knew that Titaint clearly wasn't the only threat to everybody around him. Tobias was, quite possibly, even more dangerous than the god of corruption himself. Titaint was no longer my primary foe. Tobias, in the act of draining thousands of their magical energy, instantly became a target for my ire. He had to die, for everybody's safety.
I flew through the rift and came out on the other side almost unable to breathe due to the atmospheric changes. When I finished catching my breath, I found that the five who'd followed Tobias through the portal were now fighting amongst each other. Garrett and Zicka appeared to be covering Tobias' escape.
"Unforgivable," I muttered under my breath. I felt the heavenly power swelling around me, welling up within me, and filling me with that power I couldn't find in the mortal realm. After so much time on Earth, it felt amazing to have that power once more.
I pulled out Darkdrift, which could hardly even be seen from the darkness that swirled around it, and gripped it as tight as I could. I then shot out a stream of darkness, leaped into it and exploded out the other end in that same instant. Emerging from the darkness, I appeared before Garrett and lunged forward, poised to strike him in the chest.
((I'll be posting as Takranos and Glaive later. They won't be joining the heavenly battle, but rather take a "the show must go on" mentality and duke it out with each other for the entertainment of the crowd.))
"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar
(( I hate voiding posts, almost as much as I dislike double posting. However, I am going to be using logic to void the end Scarf's latest posts, as well as the beginning of Mad Man's. Considering Tobias had went to Titaint's location at the speed of light in two seconds, being just blasted there in such a short time was unthinkable. ))

Words were useless now. Titaint drew his bow, a rather decorative looking masterpiece covered from a purple alloy, yet it bent easily and comfortably. He pulled back the drawstring, an arrow forming from nothing but his energy, and let it fly. This was the events that occurred in the blink of an eye. He was managing to fire hundreds of shots before I could get close to him, each one that missed it's target becoming another minion for him to work with. My blade, on the other hand, worked at both short and medium distances. I could parry his volley by staying completely still, the bolts of lightning swatting the arrows from their trajectory. He was using a perfectly accurate weapon against someone who couldn't be touched.
When I got close enough, I dropped my Godspeed down to around Mach Three, which would hopefully keep up some sort of illusion to how fast I could go. If he was confident in his ability to defeat me while I was going over the speed of sound, then that ego of his would crumble when I pumped up the speed. Titaint was the root of it all. If he hadn't been around, Fiora would never have gone down to Eternia and died. He was just as responsible as the man who pulled the trigger or the one who orchestrated the whole event. The Unholy God needed to die and I was the only one capable of doing so. I stopped moving, taking a relaxed perch atop a nearby pillar. Fighting was much like poker. The player could be blunt and win a courageous victory, but doing so would leave them open to bluffs and other schemes.
"If I were you," I began to suggest, pointing my palm at the God of Corruption, "I would recall as many Tainted as you can. You will need every last drop to defend against this next strike. I'm sure you're familiar with what happened back in Central." That last bit was i reference to my buffed up version of Tesla Cannon, one of the strongest Lightning spells that I used. Titaint, wholeheartedly believing that I was giving him some sort of useful advice, nodded. It wasn't obvious at first, but the auras similar to his down on Eternia began to fade away. My plan worked: I was able to get all of my foes in one place. "Oblivion Pane." My favorite defensive spell activated, four disks that would eat away at any passing energy appearing around him, one larger variant intersecting him at the waist.
Not all at once, which was surprising, my foe's energy began to suck away, despite standing in the middle of a nullification field. The amount of energy he had access to was surprising, although he had been keeping batteries of sorts down on earth in the form of the Tainted. He still had more he could pull from and I was running out of time. "I like that." He teased. "Get all of my power in once place, cut it off in one fell swoop. It's a shame that you'll be sent back to Eternia in a casket."
"That's more than I can say for you." I replied, tossing my sword away from me and changing my technique. Hand signs, seals, and symbols would be my next weapon. Even with Godspeed activated, this version would require much more setup, energy, and an even greater catalyst. "Heavenly Seal," I began, coming to an end in our battle, if you could call it that. "Titaint Execution." With the words said and the seals performed, I raised my right arm into the sky. Heavenly Seal required a sacrifice of sorts, which I had always decided would be a useless part of my body. In this case, I'd need something crucial to my life, but not something that would kill me. The perfect fit for this was my dominant arm. I wanted to scream in pain as my flesh was magically torn away, piece by piece. The black temple was now stained by my blood, the impossibility of that being as high as returning to Aer. Titaint was fairing even worse: a magical circle accompanied by countless runes had formed around him, holding my opponent in place. The Oblivion Panes were shattered like glass in a hailstorm, being sucked away into the spell. He had slowly been fading into dust, the former God of Corruption's body being a pile of powder.
Losing blood and consciousness quickly, I looked around for help, but saw no refuge. I could only hope that my allies would reach me before my enemies. For now, I needed to rest...
[Demi]
"Garrett, I don't have time for this." I complained, just before Rogan appeared, seemingly on my side. "Great! I'm tagging you in." Without time for argument or disagreement, I leapt over my half brother and broke into a jet-boosted sprint. I couldn't even compare to the likes of even the original Godspeed, so it would take a bit to track the idiot down. I didn't know what I'd do when I found him. I couldn't kill him, no matter what I tried. Despite my increase of power from being in Aer, the benefit was at least tenfold for him, since this was where he as a deity belonged. Capture wasn't an option either, because Tobes would figure out some method to escape. Even if I were to damage the one gland that interprets the magic signals coming from his body, it's no doubt regenerate faster than I'd be able to get him out of Aer... Oh, is it really that simple?
((I'm going to make this post, and this one only, in third person as opposed to my usual first-person style.))
[Glaive Vs Takranos]
The stage was set for the greatest battle the audience would ever see. The sunset painted the sky a brilliant red, the swirling clouds serving to give the illusion that the sky was in flames. The wind whistled ominously, causing the banners in the arena to gently wave. An atmosphere of suspense and glory washed over the arena as the combatants stepped out of the shadows.
The two heroes shared no words. In that moment, the battle had truly begun. Glaive instantly launched forward with his arm stretched out only to collide with Takranos' magical barrier. That didn't deter the bionic however, as he simply pushed against the shield with both physical strength and psychic force. What resulted was a blue light fiercely radiating from the impact point as magic and mind fiercely collided with each other.
The crowd exploded in cheering, putting a grin on both of their faces. The magic barrier exploded at Takranos' command, blowing Glaive backwards but not off his feet. The sorcerer then teleported above Glaive and got the drop on him, falling towards the bionic with his palm outward. The instant he landed, Takranos unleashed a pulse of magical energy that even blew himself back with the recoil. Glaive however wasn't nearly as affected, charging towards Tak with reckless abandon. With a solid downward cleave, a blade as long as his arm and coated in plasma shot from his wrist and nearly chopped Takranos in half. However, the wizard raised his arm above his head and blocked with his gauntlets. A loud, metallic clang resounded through the stadium, and the observers only wanted more. The fighters, of course, were happy to oblige.
Takranos encased his lower arms in blue crystals, sharpening them to a wicked curve. Glaive jumped backwards and charged again, both blades extended, as Tak did the exact same. They did this several times, darting around the arena as they did so, and with each one the crowd got even more excited.
It was then that an attack made contact. As Takranos flew towards Glaive again, the sorcerer spun furiously and carved a clean gash in Glaive's arm. Glaive then switched his strategy completely. With a single thought, he summoned hundreds of small spheres of psychic energy that swirled around the stadium like a tornado. Takranos was completely enveloped, now being fiercely pummeled by the barrage of attacks. They dissipated after several seconds, leaving behind a clearly battered Takranos.
Takranos slowly staggered to his feet, and looked Glaive straight in the face with an expression of sheer insanity. Takranos suddenly glowed a brilliant blue and filled the whole stadium with shifting light. The clouds in the sky dissipated in a halo-like fashion. In this instant, Glaive knew he had lost.
When the light faded, Takranos' foe was no longer standing. In fact, neither was he. The entire stadium fell completely silent. Even the wind stopped. Takranos simply laid there on the ground, gasping for breath in fatigue as he gazed at his unconscious foe.
He slowly got to his feet, his legs almost unable to support him. Then, the applause began. It was like a ripple. A single clap soon exploded into thousands upon thousands of people cheering and applauding. Takranos simply tried to stay on his feet as he left the arena.
"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar
((This post is mostly copy/pasted from my last one, to make a few corrections from what Ninja didnt like. In short, Zicka got spiked to the ground instead of launched to Titaint's castle. Ill put the post in a spoiler to save room.))
[Zicka]
The horde of Tainted Zicka summoned were destroyed in mere seconds. This girl was much different from the girl in the ring. In his shock, Zicka couldnt react to the punch she delivered. The force exerted was like nothing Zicka could imagine, and to follow it was a sonic boom. These worked together to spike Zicka to the ground, and create a dust cloud.
He got up and shook himself off. He was hurt, but still alive and kicking. [i]I cant let her get near. [/i]Zicka then flew, and threw a few decent sized fireballs towards Alice. Zicka, while in the air, didnt stop moving. He knew keeping still was suicide, but he mustn't be predictable. He never went more than a meter or so in any direction before changing, and choosing a random direction each time.
[Brom]
That was weird.[/i]
He had heard of a tournament to help stop the Tainted, and decided to participate.
But the girl destroyed the Tainted, and punched his master so he landed in the ground and created a dust cloud..
Brom stood shocked for a moment, before using this magic energy high to fly as fast as he could towards Zicka. No, no he cant be dead![/i] Brom thought. Tears came to his eyes as he was flying. Zicka was almost like a father to him, and he couldnt lose him. Not like his mother. Not like his father.
Not again.

Puella Magi Madoka Magicka is an awesome, feel-good, cutesy anime. You should watch it!
With little exertion at all, Alice scattered the dust cloud. With a preliminary pulse of heat-sensing Magic, she identified his heat signature. Or... Multiple heat signatures? Multiple fireballs angled in her direction, and she was hardly heat-resistant. She weaved like a sewing machine, pivoting herself between the impeccably infernal orbs.
However, it wasn't a substantial challenge. It took her only a few seconds to pass the flaming obstacle, and she decided to enact her target's execution. A taint-forged whip assembled in her hand, and she lashed out with enormous speed. He couldn't have blocked, he couldn't have dodged. The thorn-covered tendril left a deep gash on the right side of his torso, and propelled him a few hundred feet away. He was bleeding. Badly. Zicka blinked and Alice was there. Flaring her magic, she prepared to end the angel's life.
[Vlad]
[Tobias]
[Alice]
[Ivan]
There's no kill like overkill.
[Alice]
((Things are heatin up!))
[Alice]
My opponent made the first move. A small army of Tainted had been summoned to fend me off. However, my attention was captivated elsewhere. 'Unlocking full parameters. Security Level: F.A.T.H.E.R.
Race: Human
Appearance:
http://i.imgur.com/tLh9kIe.jpg

Not again.
[Third Person]
[Rogan]
Considering Tobias had went to Titaint's location at the speed of light in two seconds, being just blasted there in such a short time was unthinkable. ))
[Tobias]

[Brom]

((Alright, can I finish Zicka off?))
[Third Person]
