The shinobi known as Orange had begun to underestimate Stipe, and had turned his eyes away from the young genin. He fully turned his attention to the other fighters, and realized he had to get out of there, fast. Even if he finished off his target, there were too many others. He wouldn't be able to win. As he decided to retreat, he felt a thudding pain in his stomach. Looking down, he saw a kunai embedded there, and his target looking determined. Son of a... he thought, falling to the ground, beginning to bleed out.

Stipe gets shocked by the following: he was able to send a brutal strike to the shinobi. As the ninja falls, the genin slowly gets up. "Yes," he says," I finally did it!" The boy lets out a small before groaning in pain at the wound on his knee. "Like I said, I won't die on my first mission."

Yes the moon can be orange, you'll see it when the moon has just risen.
Cheese door, iron sky, happy Iceland. I just said random words. The reason of this: complete random, but the question is, why are you reading this?
(( I think just Solawind, AKA, Gris, although he might be done, not sure by his last post. If he doesnt respond in a day I'll move the rp on and assume that was him finishing the dude. ))
The party swiftly deals with the rogue shinobi, and the two sensei were impressed with the progress of their three students respectively. Tenari sensei was especially proud of how quickly Gayn had finished off his opponent, using his clan's famous jutsu. The two squad leaders went to their teams and administered medical attention to their students, then gathered them all around Kan to discuss what had just happened.
"Alright guys, as you know we were ambushed by rogue shinobi. It was careless of Tenari and I to ignore the possibility just because of our proximity ot the village still. Luckily Shadow and Bandit sniffed them out, or they could have gotten the drop on us, and that wouldn't have ended nice. From now on, the dogs will scout ahead and behind respectively, while Tenari and I stay a couple hundred feet or so to the left and right of the main party, otherwise known as you six. My squad will stay to the left of Kan, while Tenari's goes to the right. One person from each squad will be a bit back, a bit forward, and right next to him, making a big H. You guys understand?" Alexander sensei says, finishing his big speech.
Kylar
Kylar sheathes his sword and waives off bandages. His cuts and scrapes were minor, and not big enough to worry about. He was sure he had gotten one of the weaker shinobi. His allies, who he knew were just as strong as him if not stronger, looked like they struggled a bit more. He sits down and listens to his sensei's new plan, and nods to it, bone tired. He really just wanted to sleep, since he knew he would feel a lot better in the morning. Kylar noticed Kan didn't have a scratch on him, and figured that the dogs and Alexander sensei had done their job.

Stipe grabs his kunai from the fallen shinobi and puts it away. His leg was wrapped in bandages to stop the bleeding. The boy listens to the jonins' plans. "That sounds excellent," thinks him," no wonder they're jonins."
Haru gets her left arm wrapped. She put up a fight against that kunoichi and so did her teammates against other ninjas. "I get it," says her to Inuzuka-sensei," us genin will surround the client while you four will be surrounding us from afar."

Gris nods at the captain's command, the attack had been quite the surprise indeed, at such an early stage in their journey, perhaps this Kan fellow was more important than Gris had first presumed. Gris took up his position in the formation, keeping one eye pointed towards the nearby treeline at all times, next time the attackers wouldn't be underestimating the young squads, next time they would use their full power to take down the group. He turned back to Kan then to all of the other individuals present, their group seemed a little rag-tag, but Gris had trained with his comrades before, he knew where their strengths lay, the other squad he knew a little less well but had encountered them around the village before.
The group settled down for the night in another hollow some distance away. Camping supplies were redistributed, and a watch schedule was set up. It went like this.
Hours 1-4: Kylar Otutsuki and Stipe Summers
Hours 5-8: Gris Kugorai and Errant Senju
Hours 9-12: Gayn Hyuga and Haru
After telling everyone when they were on watch, Alexander-sensei took his place in the trees on the opposite side of the hollow that Kylar and Stipe would be. The two jonin would be switching out in six hours. It would be the same for the two dogs, Shadow padding out silently into the forest, not even Bandit knowing where he would be watching.
Kylar, Hour 1
Kylar was bone weary, and ready to collapse into his sleeping bag when his sensei had put him and Stipe on watch first. Sighing, he splashed some water on his face to wake him up and walked over to the tree that Stipe and him would be watching from, and took a place in a small uncomfortable nook in the tree about halfway up. He figured that he wouldn't be able to fall asleep in such an uncomfortable position. He waited for Stipe to take his place as well, and set his senses on high alert, using his hearing and sight more than anything to try and pinpoint anything suspicious.

(( Hey guys, I'm back. Once the hours of stuff come up for my characters I'll make better posts. Apologies. ))
Errant lays in silence close to the campfire, trying to fight off the shivers. His wounds have been treated for the most part, but his rib cage is terribly sore and his face makes that pretty clear. With even the slightest of movements, pain shoots through his side, causing Errant to grit his teeth and stop moving entirely. He grumbles to himself before laying out entirely. The shinobi looks to Gayn, who looks back at him, brow raised. "I suppose you wouldn't be medical ninja?" Errant asks, knowing full well the answer.
Gayn simply shakes his head and looks away, focusing on the fire.

Stipe is about to go to sleep when the other Jonin tells him that he will stay up for four more hours to watch over the site with him, his two dogs, and one of his students. He is a little sad since he will be up for longer with his cut in his leg. The genin gets up and heads for the tree where the other boy is. "Hopefully we can stay up for all of this."
Haru gets into her sleeping bag. She knows that she has to wake up in about eight hours, so she falls asleep quickly for a good rest.

Kylar just nodded tiredly to Stipe's statement, hoping for the same thing. A stick jammed into his back, which was the whole point of sitting in such an uncomfortable place, but it was still annoying. His eyes scanned back and forth, and he figuratively opened up his ears to hear as much as he could. There was nothing out of the usual so far.
"So, your one of Tenari-sensei's genin, right?" Kylar asked Stipe, even though the question was fairly rhetorical. He was obviously one of then, but conversation starters were never easy.

"Of course I am with Tenari-sensei," says Stipe to the adjacent kid. "I was a little surprise at first to find that she doesn't have her clan's sharingan. Either she's an orphan taken in by the Uchihas or there is some other phenomenon that made her not have them. I can assume that you are one of Alexander-sensei's genin. Besides his two dogs, he seems rather casual. Now let's keep our look out and hope that neither of them heard me."

The rest of their four hour watch passed uneventfully, and the time for Gris and Errant to takeover came. Kylar, knowing they would be here any second, began climbing down from the tree he had been crouched in for the past four hours. After hearing Stipe talk about his sensei and her not having the Sharingan, they had been silent for the rest of the night. After reaching the ground, Kylar passed out into his sleeping bag, too tired to even cover himself with the top half.
Gris climbed a tree as quietly as was possible for him. He hadn't mastered the techniques he had been shown, his sensei could simply just walk up the side of things, while Gris somewhat wished he could do similar, climbing a tree with three arms wasn't really that difficult of a task. This was a real mission he thought to himself, taking turns to keep lookout, being attacked by formidable foes, such was the life of a shinobi. Gris relaxed a little in his perched position, hopefully nothing eventful would happen on his watch, surely the enemy needed sleep too.
Repositioning himself twice, Gris eventually located a comfortable half-sitting position from which he could keep watch. Gris looked out over the nearby forest, there were no telltale signs of invaders or the like, but then again, they wouldn't be very good ninja if you saw them coming... Gris quietly opened a can of juice and began sipping on it.
