Chico- By now, wolves were returning to the camp, and by then, the first rays of sunlight were shadowing through the clouds and soon over the forest. But now, they brightened behind the large mountain behind Valor Clan. It was time to return and rest. Half of the wolves hardly got any rest from the busy day before winter would come.
Krade- Your sore body was recovering quite quickly from the jolt of waking up. You noticed a few thich leaves covering areas of your body that was wounded. Especially the one on your back. A few of the omega wolves were already in the den, some asleep, bandaged with small leaves, a portion of food and water beside their bedding. Jade was staring at a young wolf, preferably 1 year old. You made your way toward her and she glanced at you.
"I hope you're alright, I hope you didn't mind me tending you're wounds," Jade said. "That nasty mark on your back was larger than a coyote's bite, about the size of a wolf, were you attacked by one?"
Fang- By then, the coyotes have already retreated. A few of the wolves that took chase already returned and reported what happened. It's a good thing the attack only resulted in moderate injuries and no fatalities, the pack was already suffering in small number and territory. Terra approached you and pawed at you.
"You alright?" He asked.
"What was this attack about?" Cira questioned, he looked at you for an answer.
Frozanana- "Whatever it is, we have to warn this about the other clans once daylight comes," Euric responded. It's a good thing the first rays are brightening. Everyone should take a break today from what just happened."
Megladen- You heard what Euric said. The two alphas looked at each other. By now you knew what happened. A coyote attack, and that maybe other clans could have been ambushed by them as well. At least you had another day to keep your pups to yourself.
Sharck- You followed Tide, Armonia and Sandy calling for you to return. Tide was making his way toward Lira who was hiding in between Frozanana's paws. He sniffed her then looked back at you, urging you to come here as well.

Regalant took a deep breath to steady herself, and then said, seemingly unfazed by what Krigare was suggesting,
Do we know how many of ours are wounded? Once we get a count, we should also check to see if they took anything, like our sets of Sky Armor. They must have had some motive.
Unnoticed by the wolves around her, Regalant's eyes flash for a quick moment to Krigare before she puts a paw to the side of her face and then pulls it back.

What was that sound? Cael's ears perked up a little, and he looked left and right. He was in a sort of burrow in a little hill, so he peeped his head out to look. Seeing nothing, he went back inside, staying on guard. His den was quite spacious, nothing that any wolf of his rank really 'deserved'. He got nothing like this with the Aqua clan. He'd worked for this himself, in secret, and he was proud of it. He always worried that the clan would learn what he'd been up to. What would they do to him? What is the punishment for this? Is there one? He began to consider the sort of legality of having private dens. Not just the den, really, that would be silly. When he was here, he would hunt, tend and live for nobody but himself. Sure, he still contributed to the clan like any other wolf, maybe more than the average, but here he would fend for himself. Was that a problem? Would the clan disapprove? The more he thought about it though, the more he realised a plain fact. He wasn't particularly fussed. It took a while, but he came to the conclusion that it didn't really matter. Cael had a looming feeling, an uneasy one, that his time in the clan would come to an end. Maybe not today, maybe not this month or year, but one day he would be forced out. He just knew it somehow. When that day came he would jump ship and find someplace else. Somewhere in neutral territory where he could live in peace, away from war. Someplace far away. It would all be over.
His thoughts soon returned to the previous matter, though. He just left. Cael had already come to the conclusion that he didn't care for his clan. No, this feeling was something else. Guilt, a sick feeling, the feeling of just walking away. He didn't just walk away from his clan, he certainly didn't just walk away from his friends. No, he just walked away from two dead wolves. Living beings that were killed when they never deserved it. And Cael just walked away. It didn't matter to him. And that was the problem. He didn't care for them, he didn't weep for them. Not for a moment did he want them back. Sure, he considered it a shame, he knew they never deserved it, but... He felt as though he'd just accepted it too easily. Like they were just pawns in a much greater game. A death game where the strong win and the weak lose. It was a cruel game and not one that Cael wanted to be a part of. Maybe that was why he didn't care who won or who lost. Maybe that was why he didn't weep for the losers.
Cael was growing tired. He didn't want to dwell on it, but he did anyway. In the end, it didn't matter. Cael's current life would all fall apart anyway, did it really matter how or why? That was his main question, to himself, as he daydreamed himself to sleep.

Krade- I stretched, assessing my injuries, noticing the bandages i smiled and to myself < Being part of a pack is nice at times like this. last time i got this banged up this bad i was at least 5 days away from any chance of help, and those chances were slim. > Looking around i saw the other wolves, most bandaged and bruised. < i can't believe we survived, im thankful though, maybe... > my thoughts rolled around, thinking of the dream, the crows, and how the coyotes just fled even when having the clear advantage. What could it mean? Was that victory or defeat for them, and if victory, what did they accomplish, two dead wolves and a demoralized clan, what could the black wolf hope to gain from that? If he aimed to damage our moral to make us vulnerable, than what to? He could have killed us all right there, unless he plans to use us, i can't see the benefit. Unless those two were somehow important or knew something, the other wolf was killed in an attack of opportunity, but Asher was targeted by Baris so it had to be Asher. But why? I remembered Lilly and Choco's crys, heads buried in the bloody fur of their lost loved one, tears nearly welled up again before i suppressed them, thinking <why must i be this empathetic.? I guess its it's the gift and curse i accepted, but never before did i once consider how much it hurts > And who were those other wolves in the dream....
I shook my head and looked around again, seeing the water and food, i smiled again, thankful to whoever took the time to get food and water for everyone. I spotted Jade and the pup and slowly made my way over to her, she turned to look at me as i approached, "I hope you're alright, I hope you didn't mind me tending your wounds," Jade said. "That nasty mark on your back was larger than a coyote's bite, about the size of a wolf, were you attacked by one?" I grimaced, thinking < if i could even consider that demon as a wolf... > and responded slowly " yea, something like that... How long was i out and more importantly how about you? If you need something and its within my ability to get then i will." Jade smiled "Only a few hours. I think we are all set for now, but ill remember that. I'm ok, compared to others..." Jade looked me in the eyes,"Krade, what was all that? Do you know why they came here?" I sighed, " For now all i can do is guess. Jade, yesterday I met someone that i prayed id never in my life see again, but it seems the past has its ways of catching up to you, eventually. Just stay safe, ill do everything i can. I have to go, i have a few things i need to do." I turned and when to walk out before turning back " I appreciate it, Jade, I really do."
Outside, i sniffed the air and looked around, then walked straight up to Chico.
"Chico, we need to talk"

((Heads up that you've be absent a little too long, and if you've read Fang's narration, theres been attack from Timber Clan. I'm gonna get you up to speed with a new narration for you. It's not your fault, you were just absent for too long. Welcome back as well.))
Chico- Krade spoke a few more words to Jade before saying a kind farewell. He then approached you.
"Chico, we need to talk." Krade said.
Krade- You awaited for Chico to respond. Meanwhile, a falcon landed near a branch closest to the two of you. He turned his head toward Chico and tilted it a little.
"You were too late to return. That's why they attacked. I'm willing to help in anyway." The falcon said.
Frozanana- "We should be more thankful that day is on it's way. Once the sun reveals itself, I'll send someone to deliever the message." Euric responded. His head turning back to where the light was shining from.
Convel- "Wait, what about our battle?" Cruz asked.
"I'm sorry Cruz, but an ambushed attack is much more serious than a battle over rank," A beta elder responded, he was named as Titan. Cruz then growled deeply, glancing at you then walking away. "You should be thankful, if you lost, you would've lost your rank and your pride." You then turned your head toward the rising sun, slowly peeking through the mountain's ice caps.
Regalant- After looking at you for a a short while, Krigare decided to drop the question and move along, helping a few wolves repair the damage caused around the camp. Axel stood by your side, sniffing at your injuries. Axel seemed injured as well, a few scratches on his chest and limbs. But nothing too serious. Axel's nose then began to twitch a little more, slowly turning toward the exit of the camp.
"That stench it can't be..." He muttered. You decided to sharpen your senses as well, and the first thing you thought already sent a chill down your spine. It was a Lynx. And you were the first to notice, perching on a large branch that overhang the beta's den, under where most of the wolves were mending their wounds. It targeted a rather young wolf, around 3 or 5 months old, and began to make it's way down. By then most of the wolves have already taken sight, but they didn't take charge just yet, only standing their ground and barking at it to back off.
Cael- The question clouded your mind as you rested. With the warm rays peeking through the leafy overhang, it was the start of an average early morning.
Frozanana- "We should be more thankful that day is on it's way. Once the sun reveals itself, I'll send someone to deliever the message." Euric responded. His head turning back to where the light was shining from.
"Whatever you think is best." Frazanana Said. "We didn't lose any wolves, right?"

"I thought so too, Krade." Chico responded when he noticed movement in the corner of his eye. The falcon from earlier landed on a nearby branch. "You were too late to return. That's why they attacked. I'm willing to help in anyway." It said.
"I'm thankful for your help" Chico said "But might I ask for what reason you falcons are helping us wolves?"
Krade- I looked up at the falcon, confused and rather annoyed by its statement, " What are you implying bird, if the wolves had known of the coyotes sooner, the attack wouldn't have happened? I hope you have more answers than i do." I turned to Chico " I have a lot to tell you, but i think we should at least hear out the falcon first"

"You alright?" He asked.
"What was this attack about?" Cira questioned, he looked at you for an answer.
"Well, i personally think it was an attack from coyotes. Not sure why they were all rallied like that. Hm..." Fang stopped and pawed at the ground, pondering why so many coyotes were in a group together. Then he licked Cira and Terra. "I am alright. How are you two?" He asked them both while looking over his shoulder to make sure the coyotes were truly gone.
Cael awoke slowly, his eyes being forced open by the light. He simply lay there for about five minutes in peace. After that period, though, his thoughts came flooding back and the guilt filled him again. So much for being over it. Cael forced himself onto his feet and made his way outside. It was warm and bright. Cael felt something strange as he stood there. It was an ominous feeling, but also one that was sort of refreshing. The feeling that today would shape his future. What he did today would mean everything. Today he would be decisive. Today would mark everything that would come from the years ahead of him, whether it be with his clan or without it. Whether it be alive or dead. It didn't matter. Today wasn't today, today was the future. That was Cael's conclusion? Why this conclusion? Cael wasn't one to sit around. The pages had to keep turning each day - the pages of the book of his life. He wouldn't spend his day loafind around pondering morality. No, today something would happen, like must happen every day. And the course of action today would be to either continue to move away or to meet his pack again. Cael really wanted to make one decision, but felt forced to make the other.
He had to go back.
And so he went. His wounds were slowly healing; he was fit enough to move about, even to run, but he wouldn't be able to match a healthy wolf. He made his way at a fair pace, and soon could see the signs of a basic community up ahead. Closer yet Cael could see the shapes of wolves. He kept moving. This was it, whatever would come would come.

Regalant just sighed and muttered to Axel,
Great. Just perfect. Exactly what we need right now.
She took a step towards the lynx before calling to it,
Hey! Real sneaky there! Only been noticed by half the clan! But seriously, attacking anyone would be a really horrifically stupid idea. Just because we have some wounded doesn't stop us from outnumbering you at least 20 to 1!
Funny how things like this went. She was fine standing up for her clan, but standing up against them was a different story entirely...
Regalant- "Oh come now, I'm simply helping you. The most wounded won't server any purpose for you, and I think that juicy wolf over there would certainly make a meal for me," The lynx said, smacking her tongue. She hopped down from the tree atop the large stone. A few of the wolves getting close but not too close, began barking to try and scare it off before using physical harm as a last resort. While the lynx was outnumbered and could easily be defeated, it would result in much worse injuries and possibly fatalities. What could the pack do now? Yet suddenly, from behind the lynx was a few rustling from small ferns. Then a wolf leaped out high into the air. Not just any wolf, this wolf had bright blue markings on his body and tail, and he wielded a long stave with a crescent adorned on the top. Once right below the Lynx, the black wolf turned his body, as he fell, he used all his power in his jaw and neck to swing his staff. The lynx, suddenly surprised by the wolf's display, took a strike from the blow, leaving behind a small mark onto the lynx's body from one of the crescent's sharp edge. While the mark on the lynx's body was proof that the wolf landed a hit, it was the force the wolf put into his weapon to make a powerful hit onto it. The wolf then landed on his feet, nearly loosing his balance. Without caution, the lynx then retreated back to the depths toward the Dead Forest. The black wolf who scared off the lynx with one blow overlooked the clan. He seemed badly injured. Feeling weakened, he dropped his staff. It clanked onto the stone platform where he stood, before properly speaking.
"Are you all...al...right..?" His deep voice asked before he collapsed, right atop his long stave. The wolves that took notice, shocked and surprised turned toward you for answers. Axel even surprised turned toward you as well. There was so much astonishment to take in.
Chico- The falcon shrugged his wings.
"Can't say, I had a feeling something would happen," The falcon said. It then flapped it's wings and landed in-between you both. "My brethren and I are in trouble, we're willing to help if..." The falcon turned his head toward the pile of prey. "You give us a portion of mice and small birds from your pile. Food is scarce for us birds of prey, and we've had trouble finding some in the Nesting Area. We will accept any work we can do as long as we are fed."
Frozanana- "Known that I know of. But since it's day time we should go on a quick patrol to see what we can find. Frozanana, would you like to come with me?" He asked.
Sharck- You made your way toward the two alphas as they discussed the incident. Lira waddled out of her mother's paw and toward you two.
"Are you alright?" Tide asked. Lira nodded.
"I'm fine. Maybe we should go talk somewhere else, Euric doesn't like it when wolves talk when he's talking in front of him." Lira said, her eyes landed atop the nursery's den. She then decided to head toward it, looking back to see if you would follow toward it as well.
Fang- Terra nodded. Behind you, Cruz was getting into an argument with Convel due to the incident.
"Just wait till the next moon, Convel!" Cruz said before walking away. Cira then nudged at you to pay attention.
"I suggest we should scent out what happened, we should form a patrol and look around for clues or maybe something else.
Cael- As you neared the camp, you saw Krade and the alpha, Chico discussing with a...Falcon? It was even stranger since everyone else in the pack dismissed it as something normal. Ethan made his way toward you.
"Omega, where have you been? Did you go out looking for clues or something?" Ethan asked. "I saw you with Krade as you entered the camp before the attack. Maybe you could tell us something as well. We should discuss this with the other wolves, come with me." Ethan said, making his way toward the Beta's den.
While you were battling Cruz, Krade from Aqua Pack decided to go scout out something strange happening in Coyote Territory. After entering it, he finds a black wolf with red markings and follows him there. The Black wolf reveals that he plans to attack all the clans with an army of coyotes and that Baris and Stone (two brother Omegas from Aqua Pack who are challenging Chico and Asher the Alpha and Zepha of the pack) are a part of this plan as well. and he sends the coyotes out. The coyotes first attack Aqua Clan, resulting in Baris assassinating Asher and the death of an elder named Noir. The coyotes then attack the other clans. During this, you, Cruz, and the other wolves fight back from the attack. After a while, crows from different locations screech and fly away, and the coyotes soon retreat after the crow's call. Right now it's early morning, and the attack is still being discussed. In Aqua Pack, Krade and Chico come across a falcon that tells them something important, Wisdom Clan gets attacked by a lynx but is soon saved by a black wolf with blue markings who wields a long stave. Valor and Timber Clan are just about to send a patrol to see what happened. And Cruz right now is complaining over the attack since the battle had to be cancelled.
((Timber Clan's alpha is Fang...and in fact, Thorolf12 roleplays as him. You should re-read the RP's main thread to see who roleplays as who, some items, and even a map I added.))

Cael wasn't sure what to say, but he followed on anyway. He might as well try to get back into the clan life. He had his night away to think, now things had to get back to normal.

“You can call me what you like, but I will be taking your cake." -L
"Whatever you think is best." Frazanana Said. "We didn't lose any wolves, right?"
Krade- I looked up at the falcon, confused and rather annoyed by its statement, " What are you implying bird, if the wolves had known of the coyotes sooner, the attack wouldn't have happened? I hope you have more answers than i do." I turned to Chico " I have a lot to tell you, but i think we should at least hear out the falcon first"
“You can call me what you like, but I will be taking your cake." -L
"Well, i personally think it was an attack from coyotes. Not sure why they were all rallied like that. Hm..." Fang stopped and pawed at the ground, pondering why so many coyotes were in a group together. Then he licked Cira and Terra. "I am alright. How are you two?" He asked them both while looking over his shoulder to make sure the coyotes were truly gone.
Meow. I'm Thorolf the Cat.
Sharck came over to Tide.

((Also, what time is it right now?))
There's a difference between a hero and a champion. A champion overcomes threats, but a hero overcomes fears.

Then there's also a Youtube channel I'm somewhat involved in.
((By now, around 5ish or 6ish AM))
((I'll do my best to explain it.
Does that help?))
He had his night away to think, now things had to get back to normal.
krade- After hearing the falcons proposal, i turned to Chico, then back to the bird, "How many falcons?"
“You can call me what you like, but I will be taking your cake." -L
Sharck said, "Alright, let's go." He then walked towards the den.

"Alright."
((I like that this roleplay exists. It is a great beginner roleplay and shows the fundementals of roleplaying. Im ZixUni! I just wanted to let everyone know its going great!))
