"Say, Korom... Have you noticed how cold the nights are starting to get? Maybe it's just me." contemplated Microlenos as the duo stopped travelling for the night in an old house of stone. "Anyways, I've been having dreams. No- I dont suppose that's the proper term for it. I've seen the same thing in every dream, even though I am not sure as to what it is yet." Microlenos said worriedly. "One thing has bothered me the most. I hear growls. Screams. And chanting... oh gods the chanting. I can hear it reverberating through my veins. Either way, stay alert."
He turned over on his bedroll.
"Your turn to take watch tonight. And could you put some more wood on the fire, please? I am not warm-blooded like you."

As Talmanaze watched Korom and Microlenos start off on their journey for Tosid Moshnun. In his mind he knew he could not let them obtain it. Planning to sabotage their attempts he chose his five most adept lumbequens. He dubbed one Talon and granted him a dark shroud named Cololloomin. Once he placed them on the planet, the lumbequens began to follow Korom and Microlenos, unnoticed and ever-swift in the shadows.
Kieran watched his reapers, delivering death swiftly to those who could not escape it. On the Planet of Chameleos he constructed them a temple, the Temple of Death. It would serve as their home when not killing, and as Kieran's personal resting place. He sees the Chameleos as a noble race and sends them a vision. The vision shows them of the danger mordaiheru poses to them. He promises them that the reapers will stand with the Chameleos against them.
Madk then created bokes. Tiny insectile creatures capable of controlling and creating magnetic flow. He places them on Magnentia, a planet he himself created for them.
Quote from Eztuzt »
The Bokes get assaulted by Zexrims bent on destruction of all life, have an epic civil war, erase it from history through paradoxes caused by intra-dimensional beings, achieve a state more powerful than godliness, kill off more than half of their population, threaten the survival of another population, plant a sun-nuke, warn everybody of what they did, and then devolve into a small insectile race on a planet that is basically a super magnet.
Microlenos noticed a large set of ruins on their path. He exclaimed to Korom that they must explore it.
Shortly after he created Ascolcerol, an enchanted bolas that would paralyze the victim if it missed. He placed it in the Asteroid Temple. He placed it in a grand chest for any worthy adventurers to find.
Talon watched as Korom and Micolenos ventured off the route into the ruins. He planned to bring the ruins down on them. As Korom inspected some fine ancient works and placed them down, eager to get to the mountain. Shortly after the two left the ruins, they came crashing down.
Korom, I skipped you creating war because it already exists, without godly intervention. The humans have war and the bokes and such had some too, so...yeah :tongue.gif:

Seeing that his couriers were having a problem on their quest, he sent a mystical spring down to the planet, that spews out a seeping mist, frothing from the ground, light as a shadow. This spring is the first of many, but for now this spring is the mark of mordaiheru, (Don't forget my name eztut :wink.gif:) able to control or enpower the things of shadow on this planet.
mordaiheru creates the springs of shadow, and places one on the planet of the current adventure.
"Talon see's the meteorite falling from the sky and follows to the location of the collision. seeing the pool, he takes his shroud and soaks it in the waters. It absorbs and flourishes in the water.
( Not really what power to give it... I can't get what I wanted done In the way I wanted... Ooh! I've got an idea!)
The waters give it the power to control the air around him, and make it infinitely denser, to the point where light passes through it at a Massively slow pace. This shroud therefore gives the user the ability to freeze an area in time, in a sense, practically making the user able to turn herself, or an entire area invisible."
"Say, Korom... Have you noticed how cold the nights are starting to get? Maybe it's just me." contemplated Microlenos as the duo stopped travelling for the night in an old house of stone. Korom does as he is asked and takes the night shift. He, too, finds himself constantly stoking the fire. The chill that had befallen them seemed too eerie and far too cold to be of any normal doing. Korom was fortunate in that these visions which had been plaguing his companion had not yet shown themselves to him. If either of them had any doubt as to the journey ahead of them, it was surfacing now. Neither of them had mentioned it, but both were certain that there was some supernatural force afflicting them, hindering them. Korom had been thinking about what Microlenos had told him; of the sounds he's been hearing. Korom often heard growls from within the woods around them, but never assumed it was more than a hungry beast, which, in retrospect, they seemed to discount as hardly a threat. The night was long and trying. Korom often felt like dozing off into complete submission, all at the hands of this bitter and biting cold. Despite Korom's best efforts, the fire had died in the middle of the night, as if to add to the suspense. The coming of dawn was a miracle, and Korom spoke with no uncertainty when Microlenos finally awoke,
"Everything's cascading down on us; the cold, the fire dying, the noises, the voices, the... everything! We must be on our way, brother. It seems evil doesn't sleep."
"Aye. Let's get out of here. Staying in one place too long was risky enough." Microlenos made a small hand gesture behind his back which was believed to ward off evil.
It was midday when Microlenos and Korom arrived at the edge of a great barrier forest that ran out of sight in both directions. "I do not like this. The trees are too dense." His heart was thumping heavier. "But I do not suppose there is another way around." He kissed the knuckle of his gauntlet. "What say you, brother? Do we go through the forest or find a way around?"
Pennysworth, meanwhile, was busy with his own devices. Godhood was boring when nothing was happening, but bloodshed seemed a bit... extreme at the moment. He picked up a rock and pressed his thumb into it, making a cup. He flattened it, making it more like the cap of a mushroom. He flipped it around in his hands, then did a sidehand throw with it.
"Hahaa! The flat rock flies far!"
He started making more, but added sharp bits of obsidian on the ends. This made the discs look like stars, but more painful. It's a weapon, but one you can have alot of! Microlenos called it the "Throwing Star."
He carved his recipie onto rock tablets, and distributed them near civilizations on every planet. Pennysworth creates the Throwing Star, the first ranged device- and the first toy.

"Any deviation from our prescribed path could draw us off-target, and to lose ourselves from the map would mean certain demise given our... otherworldly hindrances. I see this forest as a symbol; It makes metaphor of our mortal - said loosely - fears. To venture through it would be a difficult task, but to do otherwise could be compared to gambling with your life at stake. That compared, I think we should venture forward. It seems like we've hardly but yet begun our peregrination, and I'm certainly not going to let my own creation play a role as malefactor to our endeavors. I say we go onward." It was a reassuring little speech, if not somewhat rambling. The two continue their on their original trail. Venture into the forest was not for the faint of heart; Korom and Microlenos could only do their best to stay occupied, for the worst mortal fear was fear of the unknown. They traveled only at day, having to set up regular encampments to dig in for the nights that brought bone chilling and skin splintering cold. There was no other word to describe it: it was cold, beyond the realm of imaginable possibility.
Once again in the night, Korom retreated to the warmth and safety of his deity form. He looked around for a while, thought a bit. Korom did this a lot. In the end, he decided that he wanted something interesting to keep him busy and to play around with. Intricate and intriguing things...
Korom creates machines: from moving puzzleboxes to complex mechanical structures. They have no perceivable need for power.
((Refer back to the map and basically guess where we are. It's past the bridge between the two oceans, but obviously not in the mountainous area yet. Perhaps your post can take us there.))
Once more Pennysworth impatiently checked on the progress of the asteroid temple. It was coming along nicely, but not quickly enough!
"GOLEMS. STOP ALL WORK. THE TEMPLE IS GOOD ENOUGH. NOW DISPERSE YOUR NUMBERS ACROSS THE PLANET. WAAAAAGH," roared the microline god.
The golems obediently lumbered to their own places around the globe. Unable to satiate their need for building, they begun to make their own dungeons where the settled. Pennysworth has the Golems discontinue work on the Temple, and they make their own projects around the planet.
Microlenos couldn't sleep that night. They'd hardly been ten paces into the forest but it felt like miles. He lay awake in his bedroll, staring off into the depths of the forest. Again he heard the chanting, echoing through the forest. He moved to turn around and alert Korom, but his body froze in place. He felt his finger twitch slightly, then his arm raised up and removed his blanket.
"Guh?!" was all he could manage through his clenched jaws as his legs moved towards the bowels of the forest. He groaned as loud as he could to get his partner's attention, but he was already a distance from the fire. Microlenos felt his eyes fluttering, and willed himself to stay with it. But try, and try he did, he couldn't help himself. Before he fell unconscious, he saw a robed figure standing above him. Microlenos is kidnapped during the night!

Korom is undisturbed during this moment of Microlenos' panic, because he is currently exercising his will as a god. His most recent creation is very fun, to be sure. They are warriors who do not wear burdening armor or sling harsh weapons; they are quiet and quick in battle, yet they are able to overcome most of the best steel-plated, hammer-toting monsters of men who normally fight in wars.
Korom creates ninjas.
He returns to his body at sun-up, and the fire is out. The fire is out, his bedroll is cold, he can't find his torch, Microlenos is gone, their food is mostl-
[There is a brief moment of extreme panic and exasperation in which Korom desperately rifles through Microlenos' former bedroll, as if he expected to find him under his pillow.]
What would he do? He could not abandon his companion. He could not continue on his trail, nor could he afford to stay at his camp. Already, he had found use of his stealthy minions. Korom summons forth a team of his elite ninjas, and sends them out an in impromptu all-or-nothing search. Microlenos knew better than to leave the encampment without notifying Korom, so this had to have been done against his will. Korom had plotted and pinpointed, planned a procedure and produced a plan, but he still needed the manpower of his ninjas to cover a large area for search. There was always a worry that Microlenos had been taken to another plane or realm, as the force that overtook him was clearly not of this world.
((I'll leave it up to you if you want to be found like this or not. It's obviously a problem on a higher plane than ninjas physically searching, and it seems like you may want to withdraw for a while as I venture forward. The decision rests with you.))
When Microlenos regained consciousness, he found himself harnessed to a wall. He blinked out the clouds in his eyes, and examined the room. Stuck in the wall were two statues made of stacked stones. There was a ball of crystal in front of him, and the door was across the room. He examined his body the best he could. His gauntlet was taken away, and he had been stripped down to a loincloth.
Microlenos ground his teeth, thinking deeply. He blew air onto the crystal ball, making the surface seemingly ripple. Through the ripples, he saw Korom! As if on que, the statues on either side of the room rumbled to life and stared at Microlenos through brilliant stone eyes.
"Hello, you two. Enjoy the nap?" he joked angrily. "If you two understand my speech, tell me where I am before I turn ya to gravel."
They leered at him, not moving an inch.
"Guess intimidation isn't the way outta here."
Microlenos hummed a tune, feigning disintrest with anything.
The golems walked to the door, and opened it simultaneously. Through it, the robed figure enters the room.
((If someone would like to take control of this figure, please feel free to.))

"Hissssssss... I see you have awoken." said the robed figure, "I do wish that you don't struggle, It would make things very unpleasant for you" He wanders around the room, speaking slowly. "I don't want this to last long, So I'll simply tell you what will happen to you. you will stay here, until I say so." he pauses, anticipating a reaction. Getting none, he continues. "And don't even try to re-enter your god form, I have found that a heart of a deity can make a wonderful bind. -MWHAHAHAHA!!!" And he slowly walks out leaving microlenos alone in a dark room. With two solitary statues.
((sorry for the lack of deatail, iPods suck when it comes to typing for a long strech of time... It's also like 1:30 AM here...))
"Pfah. He thinks I'm a god. It seems I am very well-known in this world..." Microlenos thought to himself. "Perhaps I can use this to my advantage."
Then, Microlenos made as loud a roar as he could muster. Then fell limp, as he wanted to. He would make himself look like his conscious was not in his body.
The golems started tapping on the walls furiously, in some sort of language that he couldnt understand. But for now, he would remain limp.
Microlenos pleaded silently, "Korom, I need you here."
Meanwhile, Pennysworth was hard at work on something of his own. He was crafting a mighty statue in the form of a microline monster. But, it wasnt of him, no.
Pennysworth sighed simply. "Lonely." Pennysworth creates an unnamed statue of a microline monster. The eyes of it glow eerily.

the bridge suddenly shifted, and a Flash of dark lightning hit the center of the beasts, sending them flying left and right. Adark shadow began to creep along the surface of the bridge, sweeping over Beasts and stone. The company of assassins had taken off towards the other side of the bridge. Th shadow finished it's sweep of the rock, and th bridge collapsed within itself, and flew into the ground. It formed itself into a tower, a temple of sorts.
"wha... what is it?" asked one of the company(my new name for these assassins)
"It's an opportunity." said talon "The Fountain of shadows gave us an opportunity"
Microlenos sighed and "woke up" once more. His plan did not work as well as he had hoped. He rattled around in his shackles a bit, to no avail. He stared at a golem dead in the eyes. "Hey, you. I'm hungry. Dont suppose you have something to eat, do you?" Microlenos looked away, and spit on the ground. "Sometime today, will ya? I'm wasting away, here."
He really was sincere about this. Last time he ate was at the camp in the forest. Microlenos stared into the crystal ball once more. Korom seemed to be working hard to find him, at least. Then, the image slowly warped. He begun to make out the form of his gauntlet in a seperate room. As he stared at the workings on the knuckles, he hatched an idea. He pointed his index finger out, and the gauntlet mimicked his action.
Microlenos grinned deviously.
