You awake mysteriously in a room, with no idea on how you got here, or what happened. Looking around, the room is made of black stone with gold glyphs here and there. There are no noticeable exits you see a rack with every medieval weapon you could imagine, from swords and spears, to long bows and flintlocks. Beside this, there is a large rack with armor and tunics of every shape, color, and design. You pick up a weapon and put on some of the armor, both of which feel right. Then, you notice a door you swore wasn't there a second ago. When you step out of the room, you enter a huge arena. A booming voice announces that you must fight to the death, and that the last man standing gets fame, eternal glory, riches beyond belief, but most importantly, your freedom.
Rules
When creating a character, you may choose any class (within reason), a basic weapon (wand, sword, spear, ect.) and one skill to start with. Then assign stats (ATK, DEF, DODGE ect.) *Note: At level one, you may have 15 points for stats total.
Hp should be balanced to stats. Mp/Ep is 5 less than Hp. You may have both, but you must half it 50/50 if you do. Mp is for magic. Ep is for physical skills.
DODGE is measured in percentage, with one point equaling 1% chance to dodge.
PVP Combat. Combat is a turn based battle royal. Specify the person you are attacking, and with what skill if using a skill.
During combat, anything (within reason). This means don't get angry cause of traps, (must be pre-set before hand) teaming, spells, potions, that kind of thing.
Basic Attack deals your attack minus their defense. Skills deal the effect.
When defending yourself, you may either try to dodge or block. Dodging will either block it all or none. Blocking reduces damage.
Skills may not be OP. Damage dealing skills may not one hit kill people, unless there is a very very hefty negative to you. Healing spells may not do a ridiculous amount of healing. Revive spells are allowed, but cost large amounts of Mp
I will keep track of XP and Leveling, equipment, along side each characters Skill Roster. I will let you know when you level up and can add stats and the like.
You may team.
If you kill someone, you may loot them.
When you die, you are KO'ed until someone uses a revival spell on you.
You get a reward for each kill. The reward is determined by me. It will usually be a bauble, or new equipment.

I don’t know how the distribution of stat points works, given how you clearly have more than 15 in Stats overall, but I based my MAG on my MP (I made it so that the MAG stat CANNOT exceed the MP stat).

OT: Dj sees the newcomers, but upon stepping forwards to greet them, realizes he has been surrounded by a invisible barrier this whole time.
(yes, everyone one is surrounded by one. This is to keep people from attacking until the battle has actually started.)

Dufhugth20, sorry, but your are either going to have to nerf the damage big time, or add heavily to the MP cost. I leave the choice in your hands. I am sorry, but given that most people have like 15 health, 10 on a direct hit and 7 on an indirect hit for a skill that cost 3 MP, that is just too powerful. The damage will be updated when I hear back. Also, just for the future, is Thrust just a standard attack that partially ignores DEF?

Thrust ignores 50% of the target's DEF. And, okay. Just so you know, I used an RNG for damage. 5-7 seemed pretty much right to me the first time, but since I have to nerf it, I'll say that I'll set RNG to 2-4. Plus, 3 MP does seem pretty too low. I'll change it to 4 MP. So...

Blood Moon - Resurrects all KO'ed fighters. Would remove timer for KO's
Void Sun - Same as above, but adds 10 to Hp, Mp, and Ep, plus 5 to all stats. Extra health cannot be regained. All boosts vanish at next KO.
Supply Drop - Drops a crate, next poster gets a random item.
Healing Light - RNG selects a random poster to be healed by a RNG determined ammount
Death's Touch - All players receive a RNG determined debuff, that goes away when you KO another player.
Blight - All players receive the Blight Effect. Causes poison like damage that lasts until you KO another Player
Planetary Alignment - All magic based skills cost 1/2 Mp and deal double damage (or extra powerful effect)
Solar Prominence - All energy based skills cost 1/2 Ep and deal double damage (or extra powerful effect)
Energized Area - 50/50 chance to either deal 5 damage to the next poster, or restore 5 Hp and all Mp/Ep
Entropic Burst - Deals a random effect. Possible Effects (1 - Random Amount of damage to all players, 2 - Doubles Mp/Ep cost for 3 turns, 3 - Heals all players random amount, 4 - Halves Mp/Ep cost for 3 turns. 5 - Applies a random effect to all posters 6 - Fully restores 1 bar (Hp, Mp, or Ep)

I like the idea of random events, but I’d like them to have the potential to affect all players (Like Energized Area rolling on EVERYONE and the Supply Drop dropping multiple crates that give items on a first-come, first-served system). I also have some event ideas.
Chilly Weather: Cold/Ice abilities gain a 25% boost, and Heat/Fire abilities receive a 25% deficit.
Stormy Weather: Lightning/Electric and Water abilities gain a 25% boost.
Broiling Weather: Heat/Fire abilities gain a 25% boost, and Cold/Ice abilities receive a 25% deficit.
World Corruption: Stats get corrupted, randomizing them!
Boiling Water Flood: All characters have to get to certain spots on the map, or else be boiled alive by a rising tide of boiling water! (15% MAXHP as guaranteed damage/damage tick)

The weather events are good, as they would work very well with events like Planetary Alignment and Solar Prominence. World corruption would be temporary, either x number of turns or until next KO. It is a really good idea.
I dont really like boiling water flood. If someone does not check their forums regularly, they would not have a chance to avoid the hefty damage cost.
