I watched Baka and Test today; it was...interesting.

Mongotari is so confusing. There's random flashes of hard-to-read text, the animation veers around randomly, and everything seems like its from a different place.. its so unorganized.
Its a good anime from what ive heard, but it was waaay to confusing for me to even get through an episode, and the three i watched were a pain. Im NOT continuing.

It's an anime for people who like to overthink shows.
It's also shaft so one more reason not to watch it.
I don't even understand where anyone ever begins to think it's at all a complex show. It's your standard harem but with the characters not being you stereotypical super ecchi ones. That's it.
If you ignore all the super-flashy bump screens you'll miss out on nothing of the story. They're just excerpts from the book.

The references to Japanese culture go over my head, but otherwise its a fun watch.

I'm definitely not an anime person, but I want to ask a question. Why is there a single thread for anime?
People seem to group all of these shows into one category and then say that all of them are good, but surely there are good shows and bad shows. But it just gives the impression that some people only watch anime for the sake of saying that they watched something foreign. Maybe it's because people aren't Japanese, but it feels like all of these shows are all clumped together and have a single fanbase. Why isn't there a thread for separate shows? (Don't say that there are too many; there are so many American and European shows, too.)

I'm on a bit of a hiatus from playing Minecraft, so I'm not so active in this forum, either. I still check it though, and participate in a few discussions.

If you're going to try and argue logic, at least speak English.
That is English.
There's another Monogatari coming up and that is about it.
Monogatari hurts my brain, still love it though XD
There's the new Shaft show. It has two key staff members that have worked on shows I've enjoyed.
But uh... besides that...
I guess you finally get a chance to work on your backlog.
What?
The Monogatari series gives me a headache at times. I have trouble concentrating on things.
What?

Well they do say most people have bad taste.

Just like in every other anime you've watched.
It's not Joshiraku.
Reading back a few pages, I have to wonder if you're not secretly on a mission to sarcastically disagree with every post made in this thread.
Reading back a few years, I wonder how everyone can have such bad taste.
