I am just wondering why you bronies like my little pony. I am not insulting the fact that you guys like it I just want to know what in the show makes you guys like it.
We have a mega-thread you could inquire on. But to answer you question:
I enjoy it for its quality. It's got a good animation style to it; fluid, simple, and hypnotizing to watch the small-scale things like mane/hair bop. The VA's doing a good job nailing their characters and it's been consistently decently written for a children's show: respecting the presence of adult watchers that would be caught in the cross-fire while attending to the interests of the intended target without having to dumb itself down to extraordinary levels.
Likewise, I've come to enjoy the fandom. Though it's grown larger and more dramatic as such, it's a fun place to be with a lot of creative folks.
For what it is: I find it to be a fantastic little show.
It's them stuffing MLP stuff into every internet meme in existence and spreading it that way. It's also just fandom culture being the rancid mess it usually is.

One day, there will be someone who looks at my signature and wonders "who gives a damn?"
The characters aren't 1-Dimensional, but close as they fill in stereotypes.
There are a lot of references in there (nerd appeal).
It makes a pretty good balance as it was made for little kids but adults watch it (the main problem).
The fanbase is...quite disturbing sometimes...

Because everyone likes to jump on the bandwagon.
That "crisp" animation and "convincing" voice acting won't seem nearly as appealing to someone if the brony fandom wasn't there to shove it down your throat.
This is all coming from a former brony. After watching all of the episodes, the show just lost its appeal, and I realized that it wasn't really that amazing of a show.
Seriously, the show is slightly above average at best. Get over it.
Because it's a legitimately enjoyable show for many people. It has humor, story, good characters, and a surprisingly excellent world and lore behind it. But the real key is the amazing fandom behind the show, which makes a lot of great content to enjoy.
