I don't know about getting impaled by a pencil, but when I was really really young.... I had a little stub of a pencil left, and I tried sharpening it in one of them electric sharpeners. i guess I misjudged or my mind began to wonder off what i was doing and I sharpened my finger as well. It hurt a lot.
OT: When they make you try and believe really silly stuff like, for example, when girls slumber parties turn into pillow fights. That doesn't really happen, does it...?
I actually inhaled pencil led when I was in 4th grade out of those mechanical pencils.
OT: Why can't the evil win in movies?
I can only imagine yourself saying that, Thunderhoof.
I do love myself a good anti-hero though and I find it refreshing when evil wins. Episode V was cool, in my opinion, because it ended with the good guys on the run.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
Cuz they ALWAYS loose. I haven't got it checked out yet since It actually went down to my stomach.
Because the best thing is when villains get aware of their errors.(i am a fan of vader's redemption or harry osborn on SP3 even if it was a bad movie)

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
I like the anti-hero role, but I always like to see the villain's development. I like it when the evil wins and gets what he/she/it wants for little while and the good guys stop his plan or whatever.
Certainly, but in those cases the villain isn't completely (and irrationally) evil. As in being evil for the sake of being the villain. It requires a very well crafted one, with motives and a compelling character. It's a hard thing to pull off which is probably why we don;t see to many of them. Even in movies that do do it, the end product is the villain seeing the error in their ways.

Loud dramatic music stings when something shocking suddenly appears. Thanks, my ears needed that.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
I don't like it when, in moments of silence, they turn up the volume on the ambient noises really loud and then turn it way far down once somebody starts talking. It's so noticeable, so annoying, and so unnecessary.

In general, I just hate when there is a huge difference in volume between the loud parts and the quiet parts of the movie. It makes it really difficult to find a decent volume for the Rifftrax audio.

"Most plans are critically flawed by their own logic. A failure at any step will ruin everything after it. That's just basic cause and effect. It's easy for a good plan to fall apart. Therefore, a plan that has no attachment to logic cannot be stopped. The success or failure of any given step will have no impact on the macro level."

Overused stock fart sounds. Would it kill them to just be original and have someone fart in the mic so it's something new?

Those silly horror movies, when the to-be-victim is being pursued by a monster or madman and they try to escape by running upstairs (where there will obviously be limited options for them) instead of just running outside where the avenues of escape or finding help would be abundant.
Movie critics who crap on a good movie just because. Before I have a few examples, no, I'm not a DC fan so this isn't about BvS, suicide squad, or whatever comes out. This is mostly the case for Treasure Planet, and Atlantis: The lost empire. Still don't understand how something as mediocre as Frozen gets a higher rating.
Also, Cerroz why is it I always see you making stuff in the realm of complaints? Just sheer curiosity and not trying to sound snarky, etc.

Because there's a pond of boiling tar where my soul should be.
Anyway, where it's super obvious the movie tries to convince us someone died but we know they'll reappear.

The need for a love interest. It bores me. I'm so over it at this point, unless it's an LGBT couple then I'm slightly interested but really I'm SO over the need for love interests in movies. I think movies are just fine without them.
Over-use of CGI. Practical effects are just so much more pleasing. CGI is an amazing tool and is something that they should use in movies, but they really just use it for everything nowadays.
Like the diarrhea quality wolves in The Day After Tomorrow?
When movies keep making up "new rules" because the writers keep painting themselves into a corner. "According to the ancient scrolls, we're not allowed to do that!", "No, only someone pure of heart can fold the laundry of the dead." Please, you sound like a kid who's making up new rules to a game because he can't handle losing at tag.

Any movie that breaks out in song for hardly any reason, and the song has barely anything to do with anything. Like Frozen, which should be called "Music: The Musical".
New movies that use super outdated humor. The next time I hear "I had beans for breakfast huehuehue" after a fart sound effect I'm gonna make loud "HUR HURR HUR" sounds in the theater and ruins everyone else's good time.
The good guys always win. It's incredibly cliche if you know that no matter what happens, good will always triumph. Granted I enjoy seeing the good guys win, but I'd love a movie that throws in a twist where the main character fails.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
I mean whatever's impaling you.

Don't forget that the scene before was really quiet, so you had to turn up the volume to hear the dialogue.
y they do dat ;-;
