Do you know of any way I could get a Alienware? I've run out of options. Let me explain:
You see, in my family there's always been a thing. My sister was supposed to be an only child, but I was born a year later. Since then, my family has always spoiled beyond belief. She's gotten anything she's ever wanted, a horse, tv, laptop, blue ray player,$100 pair of headphones, etc. me, the biggest thing I've ever gotten is a charger for a 11 year old, 2gb ram, 80gb hard drive, broken-keyboarded, dirty laptop. Most gamers complain when they get 15fps, imagine only ever playing games around 7-10 fps, then 15s a blessing. My laptop wasn't even able to play minecraft for 2 years. Now that I've got it to, it runs it on the lowest settings WITH optifine at 9 fps. My mother thinks that's good. I can't even play newer games. I'm a hardcore fan of the elder scrolls, but could I play the mmo? No. I love Garry's mod, could I play half life 2? No. Terraria looks awesome, can I play it? Yes, at 5fps. Get the point? Now try being a head programmer for an indie company, with my laptop. Kinda hard. We've been working on a 3d game for a year now, and my laptop cant even run it anymore. By now, your probably thinking "Just another begging kid " but I'm not begging, just asking if you know of any way I can get one. I'm sorry I keep't going on. From one gamer to another, I hope you enjoy gaming, and a lot of it, because your going to have to do it for me.

Why on Earth would you want an Alienware (unless you are looking at one pre 2001ish when they were actually good [for their time, they suck compared to anything modern now though])? Either go ASUS, MSI, Lenovo (laptops) or build your own (desktop). For $1000, I built a computer that is at least on par with any Alienware out there. (the insanely expensive Aurora might beat out what I have, right before it bursts into flames, or leaks and shorts itself out, and even then it won't be by much) For US$500 you can build a fairly decent gaming computer that will handle most modern games. You don't need to spend $1,500+ on a screaming metal deathtrap.
You know any coupons or stuff to make them cheaper? Even stuff worth 200 bucks would take me 8.5 months. And I wish I had my old profile still.
Um....I can try, I doubt I'll find anything though. Really about $400 is the absolute min you will ever find, and that is being lucky with finding sales.
This thread will probably be moved to hardware support just in case it moves and you can't find it. The people there are usually short, blunt, and harsh, but they know what they are talking about (and tired of people not taking their advice and then complaining when things don't work). Just follow their advice and things should be good.
Edit: about the cheapest I could find that would at least run Minecraft smoothly on fast and far (or was it fancy and normal? I can't remember) was this. I'm not great at the extreme low budget though, I would wait for someone to either confirm that this is good, or say I'm an idiot and give a better recommendation. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16834312242
Edit 2: I just noticed the RAM speed, not great with an APU, someone will probably have a better suggestion.
Hate to be blunt but a brand new computer isn't just going to appear out of no where. Use birthday and Christmas money or get a job when you are old enough.
While your story is pretty sad I honestly.... Nevermind, anyways Alienpoops are horrible and you could build a much cheaper system for around $800 or spend $1000 on a half as powerful laptop, I would look at this
There's no way in heck I'm donating if he's going to buy a alienpoop. Also 10 bucks says he is just begging for money for the sake of begging for money.

if your a head programmer it wont take you that long to make money...

In that case, I would suggest sticking with the brands I mentioned. They tend to have a decent build quality and price for what you are getting.

Did you diagnose the problem?
Did you RMA the broken part, or fix your problem and start using the new computer?
You don't just "build it and it doesn't work" there is always a reason behind it, and that reason is always fixable.
If you absolutely need a laptop, go with one from Asus, Sager, Lenovo, or MSi.
As for desktops, you will be best off with building it yourself.
A good desktop, capable of playing most games at high settings or better comfortably, starts around $600 when building yourself.

Just now noticed it.

I guess this shows just how useless the tags are if it took that long for someone to notice.
