I turned on my computer by flicking my PSU switch to on and then proceeding to turn on the power button, but then my room lost power. My mother and I then went to the FuseBox in the basement and then flicked my room switch to on, and my room got power. So basically my room now has power, so I could use the sockets. So I decided to turn on my computer... But it did not turn on. The Motherboard light (I have a MSI) was not on, and My PSU was not whirring. SO I have deduced my dilemma to the fact that my PC caused a Fuse to go out, and It burned the PSU in the process. So what is my next step of action, do I Replace ALL of my components, or do I just replace my PSU? How do I prevent this problem from happening?
Unless you have a cheap PSU it wouldn't have died from losing power.
Have you already tried the obvious (such as turning off the PSU and holding down the power button for a while to drain power from the motherboard) or did you just freak out and post this right away?

It's a odd glitch.
It was because I was using a Mac.
