What is your max budget? You can't seem to make up your mind. You have already been given suggestions that cost well over $500 and you're wanting more.

Pentium+7770 is not over $500. Hell, I think someone here fit it into $400 once. (Yes, with an OS)

Max would be $700. I just want to be sure that I'm getting the most bang for my buck while playing the games I want at over 30 fps.
This is what they said at my local computer store when I showed them the parts on my iPad.
'You would get maximum 20 FPS on lowest setting minecraft, The motherboard has to have atleast 4Ghz to run minecraft at higher fps. You can have the worlds cheapest parts and have a 400$ Motherboard and still get 60-120 FPS.'
I don't know if they were trolling me or what, Because that computer is pretty overpriced. I bought mine as a prebuild with 4GB of RAM, A 2100PRO from sometime in 1990 (lol), a G215HV Monitor, A 500GB HDD, A AMD Phenom II X4 960T and a ASROCK 970 Extreme3. with 2 Installations of Windows 7 Ultimate (1 is empty except for 2 torrents in windows.old and 1 is filled with all my stuff) for 500$.
Or, you know, they could just be trying to trick the OP into spending more money on the motherboard.
But probably just stupid considering they said a 4GHz motherboard....but that could have just been a typo (faith in local computer stores in the balance)
Do you need peripherals, monitor, OS, etc?: I need a monitor and os. I have a mouse and keyboard.
What games do you want to play?: Smite, Darksiders 2, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed.
Your location / currency: United Stats, US dollar.
When are you buying the parts? Sometime in January.
Overclocking ~ do you wish to overclock your CPU, GPU, or RAM? Probably not.
SLI / Crossfire ~ Do you want to use SLI / Crossfire? Nope.
Monitor Resolution: 1920 X 1080 would be optimal.
Why are you upgrading? Currently have a crappy laptop.
Thank you
